Abstract

This study was motivated by the use of learning media that remains rudimentary and has not been able to provide students with a comprehensive understanding, as it is limited to textbooks and printed images downloaded from the internet. This results in learning that is less interactive and leads to low student learning outcomes, with only 44% of students achieving mastery of the material on animal reproduction. This study aims to develop an interactive augmented reality-based spinner learning medium to improve the quality of learning and student learning outcomes. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were 25 third-grade students at SD Negeri 104204 Sambirejo Timur. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results showed that the developed media had a validity level of 95% (rated as highly valid), a practicality level of 96% based on teacher feedback, and over 90% based on student feedback (rated as highly practical), and was effective in increasing student learning outcomes from 24% to 96%. Thus, the augmented reality-based interactive spinner is effective for improving student learning outcomes.
