Abstract

Digital literacy is currently highly needed by society, especially in the field of education. Modern developments demand that people be able to operate digital information and communication technology, so the public's knowledge must be able to keep pace. PKBM Bina Insan Kamil is a non-formal educational institution operating in South Tangerang City. One of its non-formal education programs is equivalency education, which provides general education equivalent to elementary school (SD/MI), junior high school (SMP/MTs), and senior high school (SMA/MA), including Package A, Package B, and Package C programs. The goal of equivalency education is to provide opportunities for disadvantaged communities (such as those who have never attended school or dropped out due to lack of opportunities) to recover and continue their education. To improve the digital literacy competency of learners, especially Package C students, careful treatment and mentoring are required to properly prepare them for the era of the Industrial Revolution 5.0 and Society 5.0. The implementation method is carried out in three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation, using a social approach, which takes place over a one-day period. The results of the activity indicate that this training is effective in improving the digital literacy of Package C students at PKBM Bina Insan Kamil. This activity is also expected to empower Package C students to be more adaptable to technology, improve their quality of life, and support student development through the use of digitalization.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah memberikan pengaruh besar dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat, termasuk pada pelayanan administrasi di lingkungan RT/RW. Namun, pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam pelayanan administrasi masyarakat di RT.001/RW.007 Kelurahan Cibodasari Kecamatan Cibodas Kota Tangerang masih belum optimal karena rendahnya tingkat literasi digital masyarakat serta masih digunakannya sistem administrasi secara manual. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital guna mendukung layanan administrasi yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi, edukasi, diskusi interaktif, dan praktik langsung penggunaan media digital kepada masyarakat dan pengurus RT. Materi yang diberikan meliputi pengenalan teknologi digital, literasi digital, penggunaan media digital dalam administrasi, serta pentingnya penggunaan teknologi secara bijak dan bertanggung jawab. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan metode pre-test, post-test, dan kuesioner kepuasan peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta dari rata-rata 55% pada pre-test menjadi 89% pada post-test atau mengalami peningkatan sebesar 34%. Selain itu, tingkat kepuasan peserta mencapai 92%, yang menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini dinilai bermanfaat dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. Kegiatan PKM ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam mendukung pelayanan administrasi masyarakat yang lebih cepat, efektif, efisien, dan terorganisasi.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology demands the enhancement of systematic and professional interface design competencies, particularly for vocational high school students majoring in Software Engineering. One effective approach in digital design development is the use of a structured and consistent design system. This activity aims to introduce the concept of design systems and their implementation using Figma as an effort to improve the digital design competencies of Software Engineering students at SMK Al Amanah, South Tangerang City. The implementation method includes theoretical material delivery, demonstrations of Figma usage, and hands-on practice in developing a simple design system comprising color schemes, typography, icons, and user interface components. The results indicate that students gained a better understanding of the importance of design consistency and were able to apply design systems in designing application interfaces. In addition, the activity enhanced students’ skills in utilizing Figma as a collaborative design tool. Therefore, the introduction of Figma-based design systems can serve as an effective means of improving students’ digital design competencies and supporting their readiness to meet the demands of the information technology industry.

Abstract

Oi, to intensively utilize social media without adequate digital security literacy, creating vulnerabilities exploited through social engineering that targets human psychological weaknesses. This study aims to measure the level of digital security awareness among members of Ormas Oi South Tangerang before and after an educational intervention, and to analyze the significance of the difference as an indicator of the effectiveness of preventing social engineering practices on social media. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design involving 25 active members selected through purposive sampling, with data analyzed using a paired sample t-test. Results showed that digital security education scores increased from an average of 10.76 to 16.32, and social engineering prevention awareness increased from 16.12 to 23.96, with a significance value of p<0.05 and a very large effect size, although N-Gain scores were predominantly in the moderate category. These findings confirm that structured education effectively shifted members' cognitive patterns from passive social trust toward reflective vigilance as a human firewall. It is concluded that the educational intervention had a significant impact, though it should be conducted continuously with real-case simulations, and future research is recommended to employ control groups and longitudinal measurements.
