Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how the song "Nang Ro Pe Haba-haba I" is arranged using the concept of using the Sibelius application and to increase the insight of the writer and especially church musicians who are learning to deepen the principles of arrangement. Arrangement is the activity of rewriting an existing piece of music or work to use an instrument or voice in harmony or addition to the original work, which is made to beautify the work. Currently, musicians, including church musicians, also arrange current church songs. The young musicians dared to create something new in their musical performance by arranging the church song by adding a variety of creative accompaniments. This arrangement refers to a church music arrangement taken from the song Buku Ende HKBP No. 741 “Nang Ro Pe Haba-haba I”. This song is played with a Moderato tempo or around 104 BPM. This song was created by Vernon J. Charlesworth with the title The Lord's Our Rock, in Him we hide which was later translated into Indonesian Batak by Bonaria Hutabarat. Meanwhile, the form of arrangement presented leads to mixed ensemble music playing using the music application, namely Sibelius. The Sibelius application is a music application that is used to create song scores, arrange songs and there are several other features to make it easier for musicians to express their works. In this research, the author used the Sibelius application to arrange church songs to accompany worship. This research was conducted at the HKBP Siabal Abal Ressort Sipahutar church with the aim of motivating the church music players to be more enthusiastic in accompanying worship at the church. The author presents the results of the arrangement using audio-visual media.

Abstract

This research aims to find out good vocal training techniques for singing for worship leaders by applying articulatory vocal techniques. Articulated vocal technique is the pronunciation of the words in the song lyrics clearly and correctly so that the message and meaning of the song being sung can be heard clearly to the listener. The method used in this research stage is descriptive qualitative method. The stages of research on the application of vocal articulation techniques carried out include observation, interviews and documentation. The objects of this research were five worship leaders at GMI Sukarame Baru Resort Sukasari Labuhan Batu Utara. In the implementation process, researchers held six meetings providing material and singing practice according to correct vocal technique. In this research process, the worship leader practiced articulation repeatedly singing the song "The Beauty of Teduh Time" with examples and practice provided by the researcher during the research, so that in the end the worship leader could understand the material presented by the researcher. The results of this research show that the application of articulatory vocal techniques can improve the singing ability of praise leaders at GMI Sukarame Baru Resort Sukasari Labuhan Batu Utara so that the pronunciation of the words in the song lyrics can be heard clearly when leading praise. Based on this research, the author suggests that GMI Sukarame Resort Sukasari Labuhan Batu Utara Baru continue to develop vocal technique training for worship leaders so that the quality and ability of singing increases.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop the song "Haholongan Na Badia" in the Saxophone Quartet. The motif in this song still uses the original melody of the song but there is a slight change in tempo and. It aims to be more wise and pleasant to listen to and adjust to the conditions of worship. This study uses qualitative research, namely by describing the Song Arrangement in the Ende Book No. 212 "Haholongan Na Badia" in the Saxophone Quartet at Sunday Worship at HKBP Pardomuan This research was carried out in July - August 2024. By observing, literature and with several sources related to saxophone instruments and the HKBP Pardomuan Church in writing and unwritten. The result of this research is that the Song in the Ende Book No.212 "Haholongan Na Badia" is a very wise song and has a meaning and message in its verses This form of arrangement is a new concept and presentation of the song Tu Jolom O Debatang Ku in the form of a saxophone quartet arrangement. This thesis discusses the presentation, arrangement process of the Saxophone Quartet in the song of the book Ende No. 212 "Haholongan na badia" in accompanying Sunday worship at HKBP Pardomuan. For the rhythm sign, the author uses the 3/4 rhythm which is in the original score of the 4/4 song and the basic note Bb = do and with the tempo of Adagio MM 70.

Abstract

This study focuses on the study to find out the meaning of the Ende Book Song No. 17 "Raja Natumimbul" and the way the congregation sings the Ende Book song at GKLI Amborgang Resort Parlilitan. This research uses a qualitative method with a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behaviors and data collection techniques through the results of interviews, observations, and documentation, The location of the research was conducted at the GKLI Amborgang Ressort Parliltan Church, Sihashabinsaran Village, Parlilitan District, Humbang Hasundutan The object of the research was 6 people, namely to Pastors, Church Teachers, Musicians and to. Thus, it can be concluded that the meaning of the song King Natumimbul has a very deep meaning, which means that here there is a confession of the Lord God, the creator of all things, so that all that he creates praises God because he is the most exalted king of all. The song of King Natumimbul when sung is also full of enthusiasm because this song means that only God is the supreme King, only He is the king who should be worshipped. The hope is that the people of the GKLI Amborgang congregation will receive blessings from God and invite sinners to worship him.
