Abstract

This study aims to examine the relative effectiveness and contextual advantages of the Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP), the 2013 Curriculum (K13), and the Merdeka Curriculum in developing Arabic language competencies among secondary school students, specifically listening (istimāʿ), speaking (kalām), reading (qirāʾah), and writing (kitābah). This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by the PRISMA 2020 framework. A systematic search was conducted across Google Scholar, DOAJ, Scopus, and ResearchGate, resulting in 36 peer-reviewed articles published between 2015 and 2025 that met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed thematically. The findings indicate that KTSP predominantly supports receptive and structural competencies, particularly reading and grammatical mastery, but provides limited opportunities for oral skill development. The 2013 Curriculum demonstrates more systematic literacy development through a scientific approach, although listening and speaking skills remain uneven due to variations in resources and teacher readiness. Meanwhile, the Merdeka Curriculum shows relative effectiveness in integrating receptive and productive skills through differentiated and project-based learning, although its implementation outcomes vary across educational contexts. This review contributes original insight by offering a comprehensive comparative synthesis of three national curricula and highlighting that curriculum effectiveness is shaped not by structural reform alone, but by pedagogical alignment, institutional readiness, and contextual support in Arabic language education. Abstract

This research is motivated by differences in judges' decisions in disputes over the default of a mudharabah contract in the religious court environment, even though the objects of the dispute and the legal bases used are similar. This study aims to analyze inconsistencies in judges' legal reasoning in assessing the elements of default and their implications for the consistency of the application of Sharia economic law in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative method with a juridical-normative approach, drawing on two decisions of the Yogyakarta Religious Court, Number 392/Pdt.G/2021/PA. YK and Number 370/Pdt.G/2020/PA. YK by analyzing positive legal norms, DSN-MUI fatwas, and the principles of muamalah fiqh. The results of the study show that the judge in the first case emphasizes the legal-formal approach, oriented toward legal certainty, while the judge in the second case adopts a substantive-normative approach that considers the fairness and good faith of the parties. These paradigm differences indicate a disharmony in the interpretation of sharia law and in the proof of mudharabah contracts. This disharmony has implications for the weakening of legal certainty in the settlement of Sharia economic disputes. Theoretically, these findings confirm Gustav Radbruch's view of the tension between the value of legal certainty (rechtssicherheit) and substantive justice (gerechtigkeit) in judicial practice. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare guidelines for the interpretation of sharia economic law that integrates the principles of positive law, fiqh muamalah, and maqashid al-sharia in encouraging real business sector financing and supporting development of the sharia economy.

Abstract

The natural cosmetics industry faces intensifying competition as consumer awareness of product safety and environmental sustainability grows. This situation requires companies, especially micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), to develop marketing strategies that are not only sales-oriented but also focused on building customer loyalty as the foundation for business sustainability. This study aims to analyze efforts to increase customer loyalty at PT Karya Iwin Insani by examining product quality and service, and to strengthen competitive strategies through competitor analysis. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation, documentation, and a literature review. Informants were purposively selected from within the company who were directly involved in production, marketing, and customer service activities. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, and was tested for validity through source and technique triangulation. The results showed that customer loyalty was built through consistent quality of natural products, guaranteed safety of use, and environmental sustainability values internalized in the brand identity. In addition, the company used competitive analysis to develop product differentiation and value-based promotional strategies rather than relying on price competition. This strategy strengthens the company's market position and increases customer trust and loyalty. These findings indicate that the integration of customer loyalty building and competitor analysis plays an essential role in creating sustainable competitive advantage in the natural cosmetics industry.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a technology-integrated portfolio assessment instrument and rubric for mahārah al-Kalām, based on an authentic, pragmatic approach in the Malzamah Program Akbarnas book. Conventional assessment of mahārah al-Kalām tends to focus on structural linguistic aspects and memorization, so it does not fully represent students' Arabic language skills in the context of real communication. The study applied a Research and Development (R&D) design using the Define–Design–Develop (3D) model. Expert validation involved five experts in Arabic language education and educational assessment. The instrument achieved strong content validity (Aiken's V = 0.87) and high internal consistency (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.91), indicating high validity and reliability. A limited trial involving 32 students demonstrated the instrument's practicality and usability in real learning settings. The resulting assessment framework integrates authentic pragmatic tasks, structured rubrics, and digital portfolio documentation to assess speaking competence in contextual and communicative settings. This model offers a replicable framework for Arabic language educators seeking to implement more authentic, systematic, and technology-supported speaking assessments.
