Abstract

The quality of mass produced lab stools are determined based on the similarity of shape andsize of the labs stools produced. Assembly work is done by two technicians for 55 minuteswithout using assembly tools (Fixture). Based on this data, it can be inferred that in termsof working time assembly  process is considered too long or inefficient in terms of time.Based on the amount of labor it is still not efficient or the productivity is still low, so theremust be innovations made to speed up the assembly time. in addition to low productivity,without assembly tools and welding the product is not similiar because there is a change ofshape  after  welding  process.  It  means  the  quality  of  the  product  is  not  good. Businesscompetition in the field of metal furniture manufacture is growing so that producers have tothink of methods to improve productivity, quality and speed up production time. To increaseproductivity,  it  is  necessary  to  assemble  and  fix  the  parts  to  be  assembled to  eliminateunwanted  movement  due  to  the  welding  distortion. The  use  of  fixtures  in  the  assemblyprocess can be done by one person with an average processing time of 25 minutes.

Abstract

The dependence of solar radiation in generating electricity by PV will have an impact on the PVWPS performance, besides The PVWPS consists many components with different characteristics. Thus this research will investigation the performance conduct economic analysis of PVWPS. To achieve that objective measurement of data starting at 09.00 until 16.00. The data are solar radiation, voltage and current of PV/pump and the time required to fill the container with a certain volume. Analysis data is using the equations that have been predetermined and comparison other research. The results obtained that the water discharge generated by PVWPS will be proportional to solar radiation, as a result the production of electricity generated by PV. The pump efficiency and system is proportional to solar radiation. This phenomenon is the effect of water debit dependence on solar radiation. The result of economic analysis is the price of electricity generated by SPATS is relatively cheap and the water cost for every m3 is inversely proportional to the water discharge generated by the pump.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence customer satisfaction in purchasing metal furniture products at PPUPIK Polytechnic Bosowa. This research was conducted at PPUPIK Bosowa Polytechnic. The research method used is a quantitative method with data analysis techniques namely descriptive analysis. Research data were collected using a questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale to measure customer satisfaction in purchasing metal furniture products. The results showed that respondents' responses to aspects of product quality, service quality, and price indicate that the majority of customers answered strongly agree and agree. This shows that the majority of customers are satisfied with the product quality, service quality and prices from PPUPIK Polytechnic Bosowa.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan penduduk usia produktif di Indonesia yang tidak diimbangi dengan ketersediaan lapangan kerja yang cukup, menyebabkan bertambahnya angka pengangguran. Pemerintah menggalakkan program wirausaha sebagai solusi dari peningkatan pengangguran. Salah satu wirausaha yang mempunyai prospek cukup baik adalah peternakan bebek petelur. Sebagai bahan pokok, permintaan telur bebek di pasaran relatif stabil. Program kemitraan masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengefisienkan waktu pembuatan tepung kepala udang sebagai komponen pakan yang paling penting dalam produksi telur bebek. Proses pembuatan tepung kepala udang yang dilakukan warga Maros selama ini terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu: 1) Perebusan kepala udang, 2) Penjemuran kepala udang, 3) Penggilasan dan 4) penghalusan. Program kemitraan masyarakat ini menggunakan metode research and development. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pelaksanaan program ini yaitu : 1) efisiensi waktu mulai dari pengeringan kepala udang sampai pembuatan tepung kepala udang dari 2 hari menjadi 10 jam, 2) mitra dapat mengoperasikan mesin tepung dan memanfaatkan teknologi, 3) kapasitas produksi tepung udang meningkat karena waktu produksi tepung semakin pendek, 4) laba usaha meningkat sebesar Rp 14.230 atau 47,43% dan aliran kas bersih meningkat menjadi Rp 44.230 atau 73,72% karena biaya pakan bisa ditekan. Kata kunci: Mesin Penghalus, Dry Home, Pakan Bebek. Abstract The growth of the productive age population in Indonesia that is not matched by the availability of sufficient employment opportunities, causes an increase in unemployment. The government is promoting the entrepreneurship program as a solution to increasing unemployment. One entrepreneur that has good prospects is laying ducks. As a staple, demand for duck eggs on the market is relatively stable. This community partnership program aims to streamline the time to make shrimp head flour as the most important feed component in duck egg production. The process of making shrimp head flour made by Maros residents so far consists of 4 stages, namely: 1) Boiling shrimp heads, 2) Shrimp head drying, 3) Milling and 4) fineness. This community partnership program uses research and development methods. The results obtained from the implementation of this program are: 1) time efficiency from drying the shrimp head to making shrimp head flour from 2 days to 10 hours, 2) partners can operate the flour machine and utilizing technology, 3) shrimp flour production capacity increases due to shorter flour production time, 4) operating profit increased by Rp. 14,230 or 47.43% and net cash flow increased to Rp. 44,230 or 73.72% due to reduced feed costs. Keywords: Disk Mill, dry Home, Duck Farm,

Abstract

Furniture industry is a creative industry activity that is included in craft clusters which produce productsthat can be utilized by the community, government agencies and industry.Every home,officeand industry requiresfurniture ranging from simple to luxurious furniture. Thus, people who couldlookthis opportunityhavea chance todevelop,especially if they are able to meet the customer needs.Metal furniture is furniture made from the main metalmaterial which is hollow iron, L profile, plate strip which can be combined with other materials such as wood,rubber, multiplex, and plastic which are then of high artistic value.Metal furniture is still very possible to bedeveloped because there is no business that focuses on making this product in Makassar.Therefore, this business isexpected tobea pioneer in thedevelopment of teaching factory based on construction and welding of BosowaPolytechnic.One of the furniture products is a cafe set table that is commonly used in cafes that can produceaproductthathasvaluesell.As forthe total production cost is Rp.804,300, -with the desired profit margin of 25% ofproduction costs.The production system used is “make to stock”in whichcustomers are freeto design their owndesired products.

Abstract

Every 10th of Dhul-Hijjah Muslims around the world celebrate eid al-Adha or known as the feast of Qurban. Almost every mosque, especially urban areas, organizes slaughter of qurban animals, as well as in the Miftahul Jannah Mosque. Based on information obtained from partners that almost every year the number of cows is more than goats for slaughter. In addition to meat, beef bones are also a part that is distributed by partners to those who are entitled to receive especially the shohibul qurban. In the resent years the bones that are distributed are large pieces so that it is a concern for partners because the recipient expects the size of the bone received to be ready to be cooked because not all residents who have equipment to cut bones. Based on this condition, it is necessary to make a bone cutting machine that can cut bones quickly with a ready-to-cook size of 10-15 cm. Utilization of bone cutting tools was carried out on eid al-Adha 10 Dhul-Hijjah 1442 H, coinciding on July 20, 2021. The number of cows that are cut is 6.  The results of the implementation of the machine show that the equipment is functioning in accordance with the expectations of the partner. Based on the results of four  mitra members showed that the machine can be operated easily, can cut quickly with a cut size of 10 - 15 cm, and is safe to use. After cutting 6 cow bones the machine still works well. Some input from partners is to expand the size of the table and improve the appearance of the machine so that it can be sold.
