Abstract

The number of tofu industries in Banyuwangi certainly also produces its own waste which, if not properly processed, will pollute the environment. This research uses an R&D research approach with 4D development (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination) and is tested using the Organoleptic test (hedonic and hedonic quality) with 5%, 10%, and 15% tofu dregs flour substitutions that pay attention to aspects of aroma, taste, texture, and color. The purpose of this research is useful to increase knowledge about innovation in processing tofu pulp and to know the process of making Macarons with tofu pulp flour substitution. In the hedonic quality organoleptic test that has been carried out to 5 trained panelists, the best tofu dregs flour substitution is 10%, while for the hedonic organoleptic test to 15 semi trained panelists, the result is 86% where the value is included in the very like category.

Abstract

The development of leading commodity agribusiness centers was an initial activity to develop economic area, especially in Banyuwangi. One area in Banyuwangi that had great potential in the development of the dragon fruit agribusiness center was Jambewangi. The implementation of this organic dragon fruit farming system had various advantages including: the price of dragon fruit could be sold higher, environmentally friendly, and healthy. However, there were several problems in Jambewangi, such as the marketing system of organic dragon fruit still not optimal because farmers could not directly sell the dragon fruit to consumers. Organic dragon fruit farmers must deposit their harvests to middlemen (collector traders), therefore the benefits were not optimal. Another problem was dragon fruit as a perishability, seasonal, requires a lot of space, and not uniform. The various problems above caused the need for an institutional design model of organic dragon fruit agribusiness to increase farmer’s incomes. This study was aimed to design and analyze the institutional model of organic dragon fruit agribusiness in Jambewangi, Banyuwangi. The sampling method used in this study was the Snowball Sampling method. The results showed that the organic red dragon fruit trading system in Jambewangi consisted of: a) Farmers - Village Collector Traders - Regency Collector Traders - Supermarkets - Consumers. b) Farmers - Regency Collector Traders - Supermarkets - Consumers. c) Farmers - Village Collector Traders - Retailer Traders - Consumers. d) Farmers - Retailers - Consumers. e) Farmers - Regency Collector Traders - Retailer Traders - Consumers. f) Farmers - Regency Collector Traders - Consumers. g) Farmers - Consumers. The most efficient trading system channel was Channel 7, which is marketing organic dragon fruit from farmers and then channeled directly to consumers.

Abstract

Perkembangan ekonomi masyarakat saat ini meningkat dengan pesat, salah satunya masyarakat Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Terbukti dengan banyaknya pelaku usaha yang bermunculan untuk menghasilkan barang dan jasa atau produk sejenis yang memiliki keunggulan tertentu serta adanya perkembangan baru di bidang teknologi komunikasi dan informasi seperti adanya jaringan internet, e-mail, market place dan lain-lain, menjadikan masyarakat lebih aktif dalam menentukan dan memutuskan kebutuhannya. Para pelaku usaha berlomba-lomba menerapkan berbagai strategi pemasaran untuk memanfaatkan peluang pasar, dengan menawarkan produk yang sesuai dengan keinginan dan kebutuhan konsumen. Berdasarkan informasi tersebut, konsumen membuat berbagai pilihan dan memutuskan untuk membeli, karena produk dan harga merupakan hal yang sangat menentukan perilaku konsumen dalam melakukan pembelian suatu produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh produk dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian gula semut di CV. Latanza Banyuwangi. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan simple random sampling dan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 30 responden. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa produk dan harga secara parsial maupun simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Harga merupakan faktor terpenting yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian, karena sebelum melakukan keputusan pembelian konsumen akan mempertimbangkan harga terlebih dahulu dengan manfaat yang diterima.
