Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the concept of determining fines for non-performing financing at Bank Muamalat. Besides analyzing the implementation of the theory of fines for non-halal financing in non-halal funding schemes. There is a paradox among the public regarding the observance of Islamic banking in driving financial transactions in accordance with Islamic principles. It caused a low level of public knowledge of understanding the concept of Islamic banking. This debate arises when banking transactions are not completely in accordance with sharia principles (there are still elements of Riba, Gharar, and Maysir). Therefore customers' doubts arise in Islamic banking. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The result of this study is the establishment of a fine policy at Bank Muamalat. It is intended for all customers who are not responsible for their financing installment obligations. The nominal fine adjusts the amount of financing proposed by the customer. The practice of setting fines is included in the category of non-halal funds but these funds are channeled back to the people in need through Baitul Maal Muamalat (BMM). This is in accordance with sharia, seen from the theory of non-halal funds in line with the MUI DSN rules and the hadith which states that the addition of debt is usury.

The sample used was 17 companies selected through the purposive sampling technique. The data analysis method used is descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression models. The results showed that stock returns in January showed a negative value, indicating that the January Effect did not affect stock returns. Stock returns show a positive value on Friday compared to other trading days which indicates the Weekend Effect has an effect on stock returns. Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the role of farmer institutions in optimizing profits and increasing socio-economic development in rural areas, with a focus on Sumber Candik Hamlet, Jember Regency as one of the coffee producers. This research is based on the importance of access to information, capital, infrastructure and markets to encourage agricultural innovation and sustainability of the coffee plantation sector. The methodology used is an ethnographic approach, where researchers spent seven months observing, interacting and interviewing coffee practitioners in Sumber Candik Hamlet. Research findings show that the information imbalance between farmers and traders, as described in asymmetric information theory by Akerlof (1970), causes farmers to often sell their crops at low prices. Meanwhile, producers in the Jember area sell processed coffee at much higher prices. These results underscore the importance of strengthening farmer institutions and increasing access to information to create more efficient and fair markets and optimize farmer profits. Apart from that, this research also emphasizes the need for policies that encourage more equal relations between economic actors and increase transparency in policy making to reduce the dominance of large capital owners. Strategic steps such as improving infrastructure and better access to information are expected to support more sustainable growth in the agricultural sector and improve the overall welfare of farmers.

Abstract

The dynamic capabilities approach examines how organizations build and maintain their competitive position in situations of rapid and unpredictable organizational change. Teece (2008) states that the dynamic capability component involved in shaping (not just adjusting) the environment is an entrepreneurial characteristic. This means that an organization with strong dynamic capabilities is highly entrepreneurial. Where they not only adapt the business ecosystem, but also shape it through innovation and collaboration with other organizations or companies and institutions. Based on the background and several studies from the literature that the author reviewed, and the model contained in Figure 1 in this research report, the authors are interested in conducting a study of dynamic capabilities in relation to how to realize and develop entrepreneurship-based pesantren, or in this paper it is called as a pesantrenpreneur. A new concept that can be developed into a new theory about how pesantrenpreneurs are developed through dynamic capabilities. Furthermore, this study brings theoretical implications and directions for future research. Keywords: Dynamic Capabilities, Pesantrenpreneur
