Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to systematically analyze the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in optimizing handball measurement test instruments while integrating environmentally friendly facility management to support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within physical education. Methodology: Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on PRISMA design, this research analyzed literature from Scopus and ERIC databases using VOSviewer and Harzing’s Publish or Perish software. Findings: The results demonstrate that AI integration significantly enhances the objectivity of motor assessment and improves the efficiency of facility management, with teacher digital literacy identified as a critical scaffolding variable for successful implementation. Furthermore, the findings reveal that facilities lacking sustainability principles fail to provide long-term contributions to students’ psychomotor development in a global context. Implications: This new paradigm necessitates a repositioning of the physical education curriculum that synergizes smart technology with green facility management. Recommendations: Institutions are encouraged to adopt AI-driven evaluation tools and prioritize sustainable infrastructure design to create an inclusive, efficient, and ecologically responsible future for sports education. Originality/Value: By bridging the gap between digital transformation and environmental sustainability in physical education, this research provides a comprehensive framework for addressing the limitations of manual assessment methods and infrastructure management, offering a strategic approach to modernizing the field in line with global sustainability targets.

Abstract

Di era digital yang berkembang pesat, literasi teknologi dan penguasaan keterampilan motorik presisi menjadi kompetensi fundamental bagi siswa, sehingga integrasi kecerdasan buatan (AI) kini dipandang sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif dan kreatif untuk akselerasi performa fisik. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan metode pelatihan konvensional yang sering kali bersifat subjektif, di mana penelitian terdahulu lebih banyak mengevaluasi durasi latihan daripada kualitas biomekanik, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya optimalisasi pengembangan motorik halus dan kognitif siswa dalam konteks olahraga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas implementasi feedback real-time berbasis AI dalam mengoptimalkan performa fisik dan keterampilan motorik siswa secara objektif. Menggunakan metode systematic literature review (SLR) dengan teknik analisis tematik terhadap berbagai jurnal bereputasi, penelitian ini mengkaji penggunaan perangkat sensor wearable dan computer vision sebagai instrumen pengumpul data utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan feedback real-time memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap perbaikan teknis gerak melalui mekanisme scaffolding digital yang mampu meminimalisir kesalahan koreksi mandiri; namun, ditemukan pula bahwa variabel kompleksitas antarmuka perangkat tidak berpengaruh terhadap efisiensi perolehan keterampilan jika tidak disertai dengan adaptasi pedagogis yang tepat. Kesimpulannya, integrasi AI sebagai instrumen pendukung dalam pendidikan jasmani berimplikasi pada transformasi pola pembinaan yang lebih presisi, efisien, dan personal.

Abstract

In the current era of digital transformation and global sustainability, 21st-century skills including technological literacy and environmental awareness are crucial competencies for students. Artificial intelligence (AI)-based teaching integrated with sustainability values ​​is seen as an effective, creative, and engaging pedagogical strategy to improve these skills in physical education. The background of this research is based on the limitations of previous studies, the majority of which only focused on basic manual techniques without considering the impact of infrastructure on the environment or the efficiency of data-based evaluation. This study aims to systematically analyze the literature on the role of AI in evaluating handball measurement test instruments and managing environmentally friendly infrastructure to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with PRISMA design, including analysis of Scopus and ERIC databases using VOSviewer and Harzing's Publish or Perish software. The results show that AI integration has a significant positive impact on the objectivity of motor assessment and the efficiency of facility management, while scaffolding variables in teachers' digital literacy are key factors influencing the success of the implementation. The findings reveal that facilities not based on sustainability principles fail to provide long-term contributions to students' psychomotor development in a global context. In conclusion, this new paradigm demands a repositioning of the physical education curriculum that synergizes smart technology with green facility management to create an inclusive and sustainable future for sport. Abstract

Di era modern yang menuntut kemandirian aktivitas luar ruang, keterampilan teknis dalam instalasi hunian sementara dan manajemen sanitasi menjadi kompetensi krusial bagi praktisi olahraga rekreasi yang sering kali terabaikan oleh ketergantungan pada fasilitas instan. Masalah riil yang dihadapi mahasiswa PJKR sebagai mitra adalah rendahnya literasi topografi yang menyebabkan kesalahan fatal dalam pemilihan titik tenda dan pengabaian prosedur sanitasi, di mana 90% peserta sebelumnya hanya menganggap perkemahan sebagai rekreasi tanpa pemahaman risiko lingkungan. Pengabdian ini penting dilakukan untuk mentransformasi aspek kognitif dan motorik mitra melalui pendekatan saintifik yang lebih rigid dibanding pelatihan konvensional. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan akurasi instalasi tenda dome dan efektivitas manajemen sanitasi berbasis analisis variabel topografi kawasan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi hilirisasi riset, pelatihan teknis plotting koordinat, serta pendampingan praktik lapangan yang melibatkan lebih dari 100 mahasiswa PJKR dengan instrumen evaluasi berupa Integrated Logbook. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengoreksi deviasi lokasi tenda hingga toleransi ±3 meter dan kepatuhan total terhadap protokol sanitasi meskipun terdapat hambatan berupa kendala anggaran tak terduga dan area blank spot. Kesimpulan program ini menunjukkan keberlanjutan melalui standarisasi logbook sebagai SOP wajib dan pendaftaran HAKI untuk melindungi orisinalitas prosedur lapangan.

Abstract

Kurangnya keterampilan teknis dalam bernavigasi di alam terbuka seringkali menjadi hambatan bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan Jasmani Kesehatan dan Rekreasi (PJKR) dalam mengelola kegiatan luar kelas secara aman dan profesional. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas profesionalisme mahasiswa PJKR melalui penguasaan teknik navigasi darat dan orientasi medan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendampingan intensif yang meliputi pemberian materi teoretis (pemahaman peta topografi dan kompas), praktik lapangan (resection, intersection, dan ploting koordinat), serta simulasi orientasi medan di area terbuka. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan kognitif dan psikomotorik peserta, di mana mahasiswa mampu menentukan posisi koordinat dengan akurat dan merancang jalur pergerakan yang efisien. Selain itu, tingkat kepercayaan diri mahasiswa dalam memimpin kelompok di alam terbuka meningkat drastis. Kesimpulannya, pendampingan navigasi darat ini efektif dalam membekali mahasiswa PJKR dengan kompetensi teknis yang krusial bagi karier mereka sebagai pendidik atau praktisi olahraga rekreasi, serta memastikan standar keselamatan yang lebih tinggi dalam aktivitas luar ruangan.

Abstract

Effective coaching in collegiate sports requires an instructional framework that transcends traditional physical training to address the holistic needs of student-athletes. This study investigates the impact of diverse coaching methods—directive, collaborative, and observational—on the performance of undergraduate volleyball players within the Indonesian university context. Employing a sequential mixed-methods design, quantitative data were gathered from 56 undergraduate students at STKIP PGRI Sumenep via closed-ended questionnaires, complemented by structured interviews with six selected participants to gain in-depth qualitative insights. The findings reveal that while directive coaching is fundamental for foundational technical skill acquisition, collaborative methods are superior in fostering team cohesion and intrinsic motivation. Furthermore, observational coaching serves as an effective tool for reflective learning, though it requires integration with active instructional feedback to optimize immediate performance. The study concludes that an integrative, adaptive coaching framework—which dynamically balances directive clarity, collaborative participation, and reflective observation—is essential for enhancing holistic athlete development and team performance in higher education settings.
