Abstract

This study examines the strategic role of the Al-Mashduqiah Wholesale Store in supporting the economic independence of Islamic boarding schools while contributing to the surrounding community. Islamic boarding schools not only function as religious educational institutions, but also as drivers of the local economy that can empower the community and encourage the development of MSMEs. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, data obtained through interviews with shop managers, students, the community, and MSME actors. The results show that the Al-Mashduqiah Wholesale Store is able to support the needs of Islamic boarding schools, create jobs, provide basic necessities at affordable prices, and assist in the marketing of local products. These findings prove that Islamic boarding schools can play a role as a driving force for community-based economies, where aspects of education and economic empowerment go hand in hand

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management pattern of ZIS funds, identify the constraints encountered in the processes of fundraising, fund management, and distribution, and examine their contribution to the welfare of beneficiaries at LAZIS of Al-Mashduqiah Islamic Boarding School. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving LAZIS administrators, amil, donors, and beneficiaries. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data credibility was ensured through source triangulation. The findings reveal that ZIS fund management has implemented the core management functions of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling in a systematic manner. ZIS funds are collected through both online and offline mechanisms and subsequently distributed to eligible beneficiaries, particularly orphaned students and elderly widows, based on established priority criteria. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of ZIS management remains constrained by low public awareness of ZIS obligations, limited institutional human resource capacity, and the underutilization of digital fundraising strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the 4P marketing mix strategy (product, price, place, and promotion) in increasing sales volume at PP. Al-Mashduqiah Wholesale Store. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the wholesale manager and employees. The findings indicate that the implementation of the marketing mix strategy has been effective. In terms of product, the wholesale store provides a wide variety of quality products that meet customer needs. Regarding price, the application of a low profit margin keeps prices affordable and stable. In terms of place, the location within the Islamic boarding school provides easy access for the primary customers, although the external market remains limited. Regarding promotion, the use of WhatsApp and word-of-mouth promotion has proven effective in disseminating product information. Overall, the implementation of the 4P marketing mix strategy contributes to maintaining and increasing the sales volume of PP. Al-Mashduqiah Wholesale Store. However, improvements in distribution, promotion, and management systems are still needed to expand market reach and enhance business competitiveness
