Abstract

Heart failure is a type of disease that has the largest number of patients in the world. Based on information from the data center, there were 229,696 people with heart failure in 2013. Lack of public knowledge about what indications of a person having heart failure make the main cause not handled properly by heart failure patients. In this study, data classification was carried out using KNN algorithm because it has a simple calculation and has a fast time. This study only uses 12 attributes, while the previous study compared 6 algorithms with 13 attributes from 299 data. The highest algorithm with 94.31% accuracy by Random Forest while KNN had an accuracy rate of 86.95% with the same data. In this study, the accuracy of the sample data was compared between 20 data and 299 total data. Both of them have different accuracy. 20 sample data has an accuracy rate of 89.29% while 299 data has an accuracy rate of 96.66%.

Abstract

The lost impact on the research process, can be serious in classifying results leading to biased parameter estimates, statistical information, decreased quality, increased standard error, and weak generalization of the findings. In this paper, we discuss the problems that exist in one of the algorithms, namely the Naive Bayes Kernel algorithm. The Naive Bayes kernel algorithm has the disadvantage of not being able to process data with the mission value. Therefore, in order to process missing value data, there is one method that we propose to overcome, namely using the mean imputation method. The data we use is public data from UCI, namely the HCV (Hepatisis C Virus) dataset. The input method used to correct the missing data so that it can be filled with the average value of the existing data. Before the imputation process means, the dataset uses yahoo bootstrap first. The data that has been corrected using the mean imputation method has just been processed using the Naive Bayes Kernel Algorithm. From the results of the research tests that have been carried out, it can be obtained an accuracy value of 96.05% and the speed of the data computing process with 1 second.

Abstract

Generation Z is a generation born in 1997-2012. This generation grew up and developed in the digital era, so they are very familiar with technology. However, the digital literacy of generation Z still needs to be improved, especially in terms of technical and creative skills. On December 25-30, 2023, Patitech Academy held a Genz Techno Camp training. This training was attended by 15 participants, consisting of 7 college students, 6 high school/vocational school/Islamic high school students, and 2 junior high school students. The purpose of this activity is to improve the digital literacy of generation Z, especially in terms of technical and creative skills. This activity also aims to prevent generation Z from falling into negative things during the holidays. The training materials provided include: IoT (Internet of Things), Design graphics, Web programming, Content creator, Digital marketing. This training uses a participatory learning method. Training participants are invited to actively discuss and practice. This training is also supported by competent teaching staff in their fields. The results of the training showed that participants showed an increase in technical and creative skills. They can understand the basic concepts of IoT, graphic design, web programming, content creators, and digital marketing. Training participants can also apply these skills in creating digital products, such as applications, websites, graphic designs, and digital content. The Genz Techno Camp training activity has succeeded in increasing the digital literacy of generation Z. This activity can be an example for various parties to improve the digital literacy of generation Z in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Currently, the Nahdlatul Ulama Zakat, Infaq, and Alms Collection Institution (LAZISNU) in Limpung District still records all donation data manually in books. This method slows down the process of preparing financial reports, often resulting in delays. Therefore, this research aims to create a web-based financial information system. It is hoped that this system will simplify and expedite the management of donation data and the creation of accurate financial reports. To create this system, researchers used the R&D (Research and Development) method, which encompasses various stages, from problem identification and design to testing and product revision. The system will be built using the PHP programming language and a MySQL database. Essentially, this new system is expected to address the problem of manual recording, making data management and financial reporting at LAZISNU Limpung faster, easier, and more accurate

Abstract

Manual student attendance recording in higher education still has weaknesses including risks of data manipulation such as proxy attendance, slow attendance reporting, and time inefficiency during lectures. This study aims to develop a web-based lecture attendance system utilizing dynamic QR Codes that are unique per session and automatically expire, accessible through smartphone browsers without additional application installation. The primary novelty lies in the automatic expired token mechanism, which renders QR Codes unusable after a session ends even if the code remains physically readable. The Prototype method was chosen for its suitability in rapid and iterative system development with active user involvement. The system was developed using PHP CodeIgniter 4, MySQL, phpqrcode library for QR Code generation, and jsQR for scanning via browser camera. Testing was conducted using Blackbox Testing on 12 functional scenarios and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with a Likert scale to 20 respondents. All 12 Blackbox Testing scenarios succeeded with a 100% success rate. UAT results showed an acceptance rate of 89.71% categorized as Very Feasible. The system proved effective in improving the efficiency of real-time, accurate, and fraud-resistant student attendance recording.
