Abstract

The fish apartment in Pekon Tegineneng, Limau Sub-district, Tanggamus Regency, was initially established as an artificial habitat aimed at supporting the recovery of fishery resources by protecting spawning and nursery grounds. With a 32% increase in tourist visits by 2024, the area has gradually transformed into a marine ecotourism destination involving the participation of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis). This activity aimed to strengthen the capacity of Pokdarwis to manage conservation-based ecotourism, improve community welfare, and preserve the sustainability of the fish apartment ecosystem. The methods employed included training sessions, facilitation of ecotourism governance planning, focus group discussions (FGDs), and pilot implementation of the governance model accompanied by facilitators from the State Polytechnic of Lampung over a three-month period. The results indicate that through the integration of SWOT analysis and community empowerment, a participatory strategy for managing fish apartment-based ecotourism was developed, leading to improved management capacity, enhanced branding, and the diversification of tourism products rooted in local wisdom and environmental conservation.

Abstract

The fishing centers that can be utilized in Lampung Province is the TPI Gudang Lelang Market. The catch from fishermen around TPI Gudang Lelang consists of economically valuable fish such as hairtail, scads, and mackerel fish. Fishermen at TPI Gudang Lelang can produce catches of approximately 90-100 tons per month. The objective of this independent project is to determine the weight and length of the mackerel fish (Rastrelliger sp) caught at TPI Gudang Lelang and to analyze the relationship between the length and weight of the Kembung fish at this location. This independent project was conducted from September to December 2022, located at TPI Gudang Lelang, Teluk Betung, Bandar Lampung. The method employed was direct observation in the field. The subjects of the study were the length and weight of the Kembung fish. The mackerel fish (Rastrelliger sp) found at TPI Gudang Lelang have an average body length of 19.6 cm and an average weight of 0.116 grams. The relationship between the length and weight of the mackerel fish, analyzed using regression analysis, yielded a value of (b) 2.84, indicating that the growth in length does not correspond with the growth in weight (with length growth being more dominant than weight growth). Additionally, the value of (R²) is 0.607, suggesting a weak relationship between the length and weight of the mackerel fish.

Abstract

Pelabuhan perikanan pantai (PPP) lempasing terletak di kecamatan teluk betung barat kota bandar lampung dengan luas lahan 42.500 m². Pola distribusi adalah kegiatan mulai dari pembongkaran hasil tangkapan, penyimpanan, transportasi hingga pemasaran. Beberapa saluran pola distribusi yaitu dari pemilik kapal, pegepul, agen, pedagang pasar, pedagang transportasi, pengecer lalu terakhir ke konsumen. Tujuan penelitiaan mengetahui pola distribusi ikan hasil tangkapan di pelabuhan perikanan pantai (PPP) lempasing dan mengidentifikasi pelaku-usaha dalam rantai pola distribusi hasil penangkapan. Penelitian di laksanakan di pelabuhan perikanan pantai lempasing yang terletak di Sukamaju, Kecamatan Teluk Betung Barat Kota Bandar Lampung 35236, Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey. Metode ini dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi langsung kelapangan dengan cara peninjauan, pengamatan dan informasi secara langsung dilapangan serta data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari data data primer, yaitu data hasil wawancara dengan responden langsung. Pola distribusi hasil tangkapan ikan nelayan di pelabuhan perikanan pantai lempasing yang paling umum terjadi adalah pemilik kapal – pengepul – agen – pedagang pasar – pedagang transportasi – pedagang eceran – konsumen. Pola ini menjadi pola distribusi yang paling umum terjadi dikarenakan para pemilik kapal tidak membutuhkan waktu hingga tenaga untuk mendistribusikan hasil tangkapan sehingga pola ini dapat menguntungkan para pemilik kapal dari segi waktu dan lebih efisien. Tetapi juga menjadi kerugian pada pemilik kapal karena harga penjualan lebih murah mengikuti ketentuan dari pengepul.
