Abstract

Labor is a physiological process and is an amazing incident for a mother and family. Most ( 90%) deliveries are accompanied by pain. Labor pain start occurs during the 1st stage of labor in the latent phase. The longer the pain is felt will increase strong, and the peak pain occurs in active phases, where the opening completes up to 10 cm. Intensity is painful during labor and will influence the condition of the psychological mother, the childbirth process, and the welfare fetus. this research aims To know effective therapy acupressure and techniques effleurage For reducing painful contractions in the mother giving birth during the I Active Phase. The method used in the study This is analytic with type design study quasi-experimental. Population in study This is the Mother’s third trimester of pregnancy at the health center Bontobangun. Deep sample study This is Mother giving birth during phase I activities. Data collection uses primary data, giving therapy done in a manner directly to the respondent with gift intervention from acupressure therapy at point BL60 and regional effleurage stomach and lumbar as well as the sacrum. results study can conclude that there is a difference average scale pain between a mother who gets effleurage therapy with acupressure therapy

Abstract

Pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period are normal for a mother. However, it may turn out to be abnormal because of several complications that cause MMR and IMR such as bleeding, high blood pressure, or preeclampsia, postpartum infection, lack of routine maternal visits during pregnancy and in neonates shortness of breath, weak body condition, yellowish skin. So that more effective service efforts need to be made, namely by providing comprehensive midwifery care where this care is expected to be able to detect early complications that occur from pregnancy to family planning with the hope that the mother is able to go through the process normally. The purpose of this study was to provide comprehensive care to Mrs "R" aged 24 years starting during pregnancy until the use of family planning. The method used in conducting comprehensive midwifery care is a qualitative method with a case study approach (case study) Varney method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, physical examination and documentation studies. The results of this study can be concluded, that comprehensive midwifery care on Mrs "R" with normal pregnancy has been known from the results of observations that indicate no problems since the care was carried out starting from the gestational age of 36 weeks 2 days until giving birth to the second child with a body weight of 4000 grams, body length 50 cm, male gender. The conclusion of comprehensive midwifery care on Mrs "R" was carried out according to midwifery care standards with normal results without any complication.

Abstract

Pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum and newborn period are normal processes, but these conditions can become abnormal if monitoring is not carried out. Complications that can occur include irregular ANC visits, birth assistance by non-health workers, non-essential BBL services, non-continuous postpartum services and unscheduled use of contraceptives. Therefore, comprehensive midwifery care is needed, where this care is expected to be able to reduce complications that can occur during pregnancy and the use of contraceptives, and it is hoped that the mother can undergo all the processes normally. The aim is to provide comprehensive services to 35 year old Mrs “M” starting from pregnancy, postpartum, postpartum, newborn and contraceptive services. used in carrying out comprehensive midwifery care is a qualitative method with a case study approach (case study) Varney method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, physical examination and documentation studies. The results of comprehensive midwifery care for Mrs "M" with a normal pregnancy are known from the results observations that show that there have been no problems since midwifery care was carried out starting at 35 weeks of gestation with normal pregnancy up to SC delivery.  process with a female baby, weight 3260 grams, body length 50 cm. The postpartum period continues normally until the use of contraception, namely the contraceptive implant. In conclusion, comprehensive midwifery care for Mrs "M" was carried out according to midwifery care standards, however during labor and the postpartum period there were complications.
