Abstract

Conventional, monotonous, and uniform learning approaches in elementary schools often fail to accommodate diverse student learning styles and lead to a decline in ecological awareness regarding environmental topics. This study aims to develop an innovative media in the form of a differentiated digital flipbook on the topic "Me and My Surrounding Environment" based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy for fifth-grade elementary school students. (2) Methods: This study applied the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model. Data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires from expert validators, classroom teachers, and students, which were then analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques and the Aiken’s V Validity coefficient. (3) Results: The validity test conducted by nine experts indicated that the product met highly valid qualifications, achieving Aiken's V indexes of 0.96 (content), 0.91 (media), and 0.97 (language). Furthermore, the field practicality test yielded identical scores of 96% from both teacher and student responses, placing it in the highly practical category. (4) Implications: This interactive digital media serves as an effective, inclusive instructional solution to accommodate various student learning modalities (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) within a single platform while contextually internalizing character values of environmental care based on local wisdom

Abstract

The Panyegaraan Ceremony Tradition is one of the Hindu religious traditions that continues to be preserved by the people of Petandakan Village, Buleleng District, Buleleng Regency. This tradition functions as a means of self – purification, spiritual protection, and preservation of Hindu religious values. This study aims to analyze the importance of the Panyegaraan Ceremony Tradition, its implementation process, and the Hindu religious educational values contained within it. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation studies, and literature reviews. Informants were determined using purposive sampling techniques. The study applied Structural Functionalism Theory, Religious Theory, and Value Theory. The findings reveal that the Panyegaraan Ceremony Tradition is considered important because it is believed to provide spiritual protection and maintain harmony between humans and the divine. The implementation process consists of preparation, prayer rituals, and purification ceremonies led by a pemangku. Furthermore, the tradition contains Hindu educational values, namely tattwa values, Susila values, and ceremonial values. Therefore, the Panyegaraan Ceremony Tradition serves not only as a religious ritual but also as a medium for transmitting Hindu religious education values across generations. ABSTRAK Tradisi Upacara Panyegaraan merupakan asalah satu tradisi keagamaan Hindu yang masih dilestarikan oleh masyarakat Desa Petandakan, Kecamatan Buleleng, Kabupaten Buleleng. Tradisi ini berfungsi sebagai sarana penyucian diri, perlindungan spiritual, serta pelestarian nilai-nilai keagamaan Hindu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pentingnya Tradisi Upacara Panyegaraan, proses pelaksanaannya, serta nilai-nilai pendidikan Agama Hindu yang terkandung di dalamnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Teori Fungsionalisme Struktural, Teori Religi, dan Teori Nilai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tradisi Upacara Panyegaraan dianggap penting karena diyakini sebagai perlindungan spiritual dan menjaga keharmonisan kehidupan masyarakat. Proses pelaksanaannya meliputi tahapan persiapan, persembahyangan, dan prosesi penyucian yang dipimpin oleh pemangku. Selain itu, tradisi ini mengandung nilai pendidikan Agama Hindu berupa tattwa, nilai susila, dan nilai upacara. Dengan demikian, Tradisi Upacara Panyegaraan tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ritual keagamaan, tetapi juga sebagai media pewarisan nilai-nilai pendidikan Agama Hindu secara turun-temurun.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika pada jenjang sekolah dasar penting untuk membangun kemampuan berpikir sistematis, logis, dan kritis. Namun, dominasi metode konvensional menyebabkan siswa cenderung pasif sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan model pembelajaran inovatif seperti Game Based Learning berbantuan board game. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas model Game Based Learning berbantuan board game terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode quasi experiment dengan desain pre-test dan post-test pada populasi 241 siswa kelas IV SD Gugus II Kecamatan Buleleng. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 64 siswa yang terdiri atas 35 siswa kelas eksperimen di SD Negeri 1 Tukadmungga dan 29 siswa kelas kontrol di SD Negeri 3 Tukadmungga. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara terstruktur, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Independent Sample t-test dan perhitungan N-Gain dengan bantuan SPSS versi 27.0 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol dengan nilai thitung > ttabel (9,371 > 1,670) dan Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05). Nilai N-Gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model Game Based Learning berbantuan board game efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa sekolah dasar.
