Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven educational transformation through the use of interactive multimedia as a learning medium. Although the Duolingo application is widely used, most previous studies have focused primarily on testing its effectiveness on user learning outcomes, while specific analyses regarding its interactive feature architecture remain limited. This study aims to analyze the implementation of interactive multimedia features in the Duolingo application as a digital language learning medium. The approach used is descriptive qualitative, utilizing direct observation of the application system without involving user questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted through screenshot evidence reduction, narrative data presentation, and drawing conclusions based on multimedia standard literature. The results indicate that Duolingo has comprehensively implemented text, visual, and audio elements to create two-way communication. Interactivity is strongly built through microphone-based pronunciation evaluation features, instant feedback systems, and an integrated gamification approach. In conclusion, the feature anatomy in Duolingo meets the criteria for responsive and adaptive interactive multimedia, making it highly functional in facilitating users' self-directed learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi kendala inefisiensi dan risiko kerusakan dokumen pada sistem pengelolaan surat manual di Perumda Tirtanadi Cabang Padang Bulan melalui pengembangan sistem informasi manajemen surat masuk dan keluar berbasis web. Sistem manual yang berjalan saat ini dinilai kurang praktis karena proses pencarian arsip fisik yang lambat serta tingginya risiko kehilangan dokumen dan kesalahan pencatatan (human error). Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah Rapid Application Development (RAD), yang menekankan pada pembuatan prototype secara cepat dan berulang sesuai kebutuhan pengguna. Sistem ini dirancang dengan fitur utama berupa pengelolaan surat masuk dan keluar, pengarsipan lampiran digital (PDF/JPG), pelacakan data secara real-time, serta penyusunan laporan otomatis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi sistem ini berhasil menciptakan tata kelola administrasi yang lebih terstruktur, aman, dan akurat. Kesimpulannya, transformasi dari sistem manual ke sistem berbasis web ini terbukti meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan memudahkan pihak manajemen dalam memantau status surat serta mengambil keputusan berdasarkan data yang akurat.

Abstract

The Medan electric bus tracking website serves as a real-time information source for bus departure schedules. This study examined how users interact with the platform by involving digitally literate students from the State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UINSU). Thirty-two participants accessed the tracking feature on buslistrikmedan.com and completed the System Usability Scale (SUS) assessment afterward. The results show that although the interface is simple, the navigation flow and response speed still limit user comfort. These findings highlight the need to refine interface structure and improve information clarity to ensure a more efficient and convenient tracking experience.

Abstract

Boutique Boutique digital agencies frequently encounter operational bottlenecks caused by disjointed workflows and reliance on manual data handling. Using Agency XYZ as a case study, this research identifies critical issues such as asset-caption mismatches and data security vulnerabilities arising from unmanaged 'Bring Your Own Device' (BYOD) practices. To address these challenges, this study applies the TOGAF Architecture Development Method (ADM) to design a comprehensive Enterprise Architecture tailored for small organizations. The resulting solution presents a blueprint for a centralized, web-based information system that seamlessly integrates with existing Google Workspace infrastructure and WhatsApp notifications. Key contributions of this design include an automated 'auto-switch' task delegation mechanism to prevent bottlenecks and a unified data model that establishes a Single Source of Truth (SSOT). The proposed architecture is projected to significantly reduce coordination latency, mitigate human error, and establish a secure, scalable operational framework for small creative teams.
