Abstract

The use of technology in education administration is an important need to support the effectiveness of school governance in the digital era. This study aims to examine the use of technology in the implementation of educational administration in secondary schools, including the form of application, benefits, obstacles, and optimization strategies. This study uses a literature review method with a qualitative-descriptive approach. Data was obtained from a variety of relevant literature, such as journal articles, proceedings, academic books, and scientific documents that discuss educational technology, school management information systems, administrative digitalization, and educational governance. The analysis technique is carried out through content analysis by reviewing, grouping, and synthesizing findings from various sources. The results of the study show that technology is used in school information systems, digital archiving, electronic attendance, student data management, personnel administration, and academic reporting. This utilization helps speed up administrative processes, improve data accuracy, facilitate access to information, and support data-driven decision-making. However, its implementation still faces obstacles in the form of limited infrastructure, digital competence, system integration, and policy support. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen infrastructure, improve human resource competence, adaptive leadership, and integrate administrative systems.
