Abstract

This study examines the influence of emotional intelligence and digital communication competence on conflict management styles in semi-military public organizations, with workplace mindfulness as a mediator and psychological resilience as a moderator. A quantitative survey was conducted among Civil Service Police Unit officers in four regencies in Central Java from February to March 2025. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The findings show that emotional intelligence and digital communication competence significantly affect conflict management styles, both directly and indirectly via workplace mindfulness. Psychological resilience strengthens the positive relationship between mindfulness and conflict behavior. These results emphasize the need to develop integrated competencies in emotional regulation, digital communication, and mental resilience. The study contributes a moderated mediation model relevant to hierarchical and high-stress public organizations, with implications for competency-based training and HR policies in Indonesia’s decentralized governance context.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how Islamic digital literacy and digital religious identity influence santri religious behavior. The research addresses the issue of increasing digital exposure among pesantren students and how this exposure shapes their religious expression. The study employs a quantitative approach using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (SmartPLS4) and involves 100 Madrasah Aliyah students from both salaf and modern pesantren in Kudus, Indonesia. The results show that Islamic digital literacy and digital religious identity significantly predict religious behavior, both directly and indirectly through attitudes toward technology. The findings that pesantren culture strengthens the effect of attitudes on religious behavior. This study contributes a mediation moderation model that explains how digital competence, identity, and cultural context interact to shape religious behavior among santri, offering insights for culturally grounded digital literacy development in Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of a "Habituation-Based Arabic Language Center" model, designed as an institutional system to strengthen the Arabic language proficiency of students at Islamic higher education institutions. The study employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach, utilizing a modified 4D model (covering the define, design, and develop stages). The research subjects include students from the 2021 cohort at IAIN Kudus, alongside expert validators consisting of language lecturers and practitioners from language centers. Data were collected using both Arabic proficiency tests and non-test instruments, including observations, questionnaires, and expert validation. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods and descriptive statistics. The results indicate that the model is highly feasible, receiving an 84% validation score from experts and positive feedback from instructors. A trial, based on a pre-experimental "One-Shot Case Study" design, yielded an average score of 75.04 (categorized as B+) with a 90% pass rate. These findings demonstrate that the model is effective in enhancing students' Arabic language proficiency through the systemic integration of habituation, curriculum, and institutional structure.
