Abstract

Abstract The effectiveness of the teacher's work will be created in accordance with the planned goals through a certain leadership style and internal communication within the organization that occurs between superiors and subordinates and subordinates and subordinates. This study used a sample of all teachers at SMP Al-Manshuriyah West Jakarta as many as 30 respondents. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. This study aims (1) to determine the effect of principal's leadership on teacher work effectiveness, (2) to determine the effect of internal communication on teacher work effectiveness. (3) To determine how much influence the principal's leadership and principal's internal communication simultaneously has on effectiveness. teacher work. The results showed that there was a positive influence of principal's leadership on the work effectiveness of teachers by 13.9%, and 18.7% for the magnitude of the influence of internal communication on the effectiveness of teachers' work, as well as a simultaneous positive effect of 27.1%. And the rest is influenced by other factors outside this research.

Abstract

ABSTRACT An educational institution has a principal who implements policies to improve teachers' pedagogical competence. School success is not only determined by physical facilities, but also by the policies implemented by the principal. formal educational institution that seeks to improve teachers' pedagogical competence, especially in effective learning management. This study aims to identify the principal's policy, its implementation, the support provided, and the evaluation that can improve teachers' pedagogical competence. The research method used was descriptive qualitative research with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, vice principal, teachers, and students as resource persons. The results showed that principals conduct various policies such as lesson preparation, training and teacher performance assessment. They also encourage mentoring, create a positive work environment, and open opportunities for teachers to develop by equipping facilities at school. Evaluation is also an important component in the effort to improve teachers' pedagogical competence by providing space for teachers to provide feedback and criticism.. Abstract

This study analyzes the importance of character education within the framework of the independent curriculum, focusing on the integration of moral values in learning, the role of school leadership, and collaboration between teachers, parents, and the community. The method in this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through literature studies from journals, books, and official documents. The results of the study show that the independent curriculum supports project-based learning, the flexibility of a holistic approach, and the role of transformational leadership in creating a school culture that supports character education. The challenges faced include limited teacher training, gaps in student backgrounds, and lack of program evaluation. The implication is the need to increase teacher training, strengthen the role of school principals, and integrate local values and digital technology to strengthen the effectiveness of character education. This research provides strategic recommendations for policymakers and educators in building a generation with character in the modern era
