Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan strategi eksklusi dalam teks berita online. Penelitian dengan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakan berita di sejumlah media online edisi Januari-Maret 2019. Sementara itu, objek penelitian ini adalah strategi eksklusi-inklusi yang digunakan pada berita tersebut. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode dokumentasi dengan teknik baca-catat. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa model analisisi ini dapat digunakan untuk mendeteksi dan meneliti bagaimana suatu kelompok atau seseorang dimarjinalkan posisinya dalam wacana serta dapat melihat bagaimana suatu kelompok dominan lebih memegang kendali dalam menafsirkan suatu peristiwa dan pemaknaannya, sementara kelompok lain posisinya lebih rendah dalam pemaknaannya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see how the media build discourse of freelancers versus permanent workers in the community through online media. This research uses discourse analysis Theo Van Leeuwen who reviews the text from the point of view of how a social actor experiences exclusion or inclusion of a text. In this study found a number of strategies used by the media or authors in generating or eliminating social actors from the text. The results of the study also show that freelancers are raised with the benefits obtained. In addition, the author of the discourse also provides a comparison between casual workers and permanent workers aimed at influencing readers in choosing jobs.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the politeness of the discussion participants in the Indonesia Lawyers Club program theme "The Year of Politics is Increasingly Hot: The Look of Boyolali vs. Sontoloyo" on November 6 2018. Data analysis and discussion in this study rests on Leech's theory which describes six maxims (provisions and teachings ) namely: (1) wisdom maxim (tact maxim), (2) generosity (generosity maxim), (3) maxim maxim (approbation maxim), (4) humility (mode maxim), (5) agreement maxim (agreement maxim ), and (6) sympathy maxim. This research method is a qualitative descriptive method by recording recorded data, analyzing all data obtained, identifying data and checking the validity of the data, and concluding the results of research on politeness in ILC events. Based on the data collected, it was found that there were many forms of violations of politeness from harsh words issued and high notes that were widely used by ILC discussion participants.
