Abstract

The important role of Posyandu cadres as the front guard in providing services to thecommunity through Posyandu. Posyandu cadres are people who are chosen, willing, capable, andhave the time and care for basic social services for the community. Therefore, training for Posyanducadres is an effort to increase the capacity and capability of Posyandu cadres.Activities at the Posyandu are aimed, among others, to monitor the weight growth of childrenunder five using the Card Towards Healthy (KMS), provide nutritional counseling, and providebasic nutrition and health services, which are closely related to stunting. The intervention effortsmade by the Ministry of Health, point 4, to monitor the growth of children under five at posyanduare very strategic efforts to detect early growth disorders.Stunting is a problem because it is associated with an increased risk of illness and death,suboptimal brain development so that motor development is delayed and mental growth is inhibited.Several studies have shown the risk caused by stunting, namely decreased academic achievement,increased risk of obesity, more susceptibility to non-communicable diseases and an increased risk ofdegenerative diseases.This community service is to provide education in an effort to increase posyandu cadres'knowledge about stunting. The method used is the pretest and posttest evaluation. The results andconclusions were that there was an increase in the knowledge of posyandu cadres after healtheducation was carried out on stunting.

Abstract

One of the midwifery care that can be done as a quality approach is physical exercise, such as meditation/yoga. Pregnancy yoga exercise at this time is one of the self-help solutions that support the process of pregnancy, birth and even child care that can be done in antenatal care classes. (Ministry of Health, 2010). Prenatal care yoga during pregnancy can increase birth weight and reduce the incidence of preterm and delivery complications according to Narendran (2009) from the Vivekananda Yoga Research Foundation in Bangalore. In addition, a study showed that yoga and meditation can reduce psychological stress and physical injury during pregnancy and childbirth, including anxiety and pain (Amy E. B, et al, 2009). This activity aims to increase the knowledge of mothers to overcome the discomfort of the third trimester of pregnancy. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, we were unable to collect mothers, so the implementation method was carried out by providing leaflets through Independent Practice Midwives (BPM) in the working area of ​​Pustu Pasir Putih. The results obtained were 33 visits by pregnant women in the third trimester, 26 people did not know and 7 people knew about prenatal care yoga and all pregnant women were given leaflets to increase knowledge about prenatal care yoga in an effort to reduce discomfort in the third trimester of pregnancy.

Abstract

Almost all women have felt disturbances during menstruation in the form of menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) to varying degrees, ranging from just aches in the pelvis from the inner side to extreme pain. One of the treatments of nonpharmacology is with hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy is a method of instilling suggestion when the brain has been in a relaxed state, but it does not mean falling asleep or not being self-aware during practice. In Pondok Meja village, there are already many herbal plants available, one of which is turmeric which can be used by teenagers to overcome menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) and there are those who have done the habit of drinking turmeric acid in overcoming this dysmenorrhea, it's just that to add it with hypnosis has never been done. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge of young women in overcoming dysmenorrhea in addition to drinking turmeric acid. The method used is to conduct education about hypnosis to reduce menstrual pain then pretest and postest by asking 10 true and false questions with a < value of 50 is determined to be less good education, if the final score of > of 50 is determined Good Education. education about increasing the knowledge of young women reducing menstrual pain by hypnotherapy.  The results were that before the education of 76 young women only 23 were well-informed and 53 were poorly knowledgeable, while after education there was an increase in knowledge from 76 young women, 66 were well-informed and 10 were not good about hypnosis to reduce menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea).

Abstract

Puberty in adolescents is identified by the sign of monthly menstrual period. Although it occurs naturally, many adolescent girls suffer from dysmenorrhea. Dysmenorrhea affects daily activities and even causes absence from school. Herbal medicine is still an alternative therapy for dysmenorrhea among adolescent girls. Non-pharmacological therapy using turmeric-tamarind herb is easy to obtain and has no side effects. This study aims to determine the effect of routine consumption of turmeric-tamarind herb on dysmenorrhea among adolescent girls in Pondok Meja Village. This was an observational analytical study with cross-sectional design. The population in this study involved all adolescent girls in Pondok Meja Village, with a total sample of 76 adolescent girls, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data was collected using online questionnaires from December 2021 to April 2022. Data collected were analyzed using Chi-Square test. Results showed that there was an effect of routine consumption of turmeric-tamarind herb on dysmenorrhea among adolescent girls. Adolescent girls who did not routinely consume turmeric-tamarind herb had a 0.035 times higher probability of experiencing primary dysmenorrhea than those who routinely consume turmeric-tamarind herb. Adolescent girls who routinely consumed turmeric-tamarind herb did not experience dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

Breast cancer is cancer that forms in the breast tissue. breast cancer malignancy in Indonesia. One of the ways to reduce the possibility of developing breast cancer is by stitching the breast self examination (BSE). The role of biadan can provide counseling and counseling to the public about BSE health.The community service was carried out aimed at increasing the knowledge and skills of BSE in reproductive age mothers in Bandung. Abstract

Backround: Childbirth is the process of expulsion from the conception of the uterus through the vagina to the outside world. In some cases, birth is a happy thing but in some cases it is a time of pain, fear, suffering and even death. Pain felt by the mother is an unpleasant sensory or emotional experience due to potential or actual tissue damage (Judha, 2012). One of the non-pharmacological techniques that can reduce pain by using hypnobirthing technique (Kozier, 2011). Target and uotcom: Trimester III Pregnant Women in antenatal care class, aims to improve the knowledge and skills of pregnant women about hypnobirthing techniques for readiness to face the labor process. Method implementation: Implementation: preparation of administration, socialization, implementation of hypnobirthing technique training and evaluation by interviewing the readiness of mothers before and after hypnobirthing technique training. Results : Before hypnobirthing training was performed in 10 third trimester pregnant women, 5 (50%) were ready, 4 (40%) were doubtful, and 1 (10%) was afraid of facing labor. After doing hypnobirthing training, the result is that 5 (50%) are more ready, 4 (40%) ready and 1 (10%) doubtful. Conclusion: Results before and after hypnobirthing technique training can be concluded that there is a change in maternal readiness in the face of labour. Suggestion : It is recommended that the Puskesmas conduct hypnobirthing technical training on regular and scheduled basis for pregnant women, especially in the third trimester of pregnancy.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is menstrual pain that occurs for one to several days during menstruation and is a major gynecological problem that women often complain about. Efforts to treat menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) with abdominal stretching exercises and drinking water therapy are effective for non-pharmacological measures in reducing the intensity of menstrual pain or dysmenorrhea. In addition, dysmenorrhea can also be overcome through exercise, one of which is exercise with the aim of helping blood flow to the muscles around the uterus so that pain can be reduced. Other non-pharmacological actions using herbal plants, namely sour turmeric drink which is effective as an alternative in overcoming dysmenorrhea. The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge and skills of young women in overcoming dysmenorrhea. The method/approach used was to assess the knowledge of young women before and after education about turmeric acid and yoga in overcoming dysmenorrhea. After participating in a series of activities according to the implementation plan, the results obtained are: before the education was carried out, 75 young women 67 (95.7%) knew that drinking tamarind reduces dysmenorrhea and 0 (0%) did not know that yoga can also reduce dysmenorrhea. After education, 7 (9.3%) people and 31 (41.3%) people combined drinking tamarind and doing yoga to reduce dysmenorrhea.

Method implementation:Implementation administrative preparation, sociaization, evaluation. Results : Before doing yoga pregnancy exercise as many as 7 mothers were ready to give birth, 2 people were hesitant, and 1 person was afraid to face childbirth. After doing yoga exercise, the result: there are still doubts about 1 person, ready for 2 people and more ready for7 people. Conclusion: The results before and after the yoga pregnancy exercise can be concluded that there is a change in the readiness of mothers in facing physical and psychological labor. Suggestion : Health centre carry out pregnancy exercise regularly scheduled yoga for pregnant women, especially pregnant third trimester

Abstract

Adolescence is a transitional period involving physical, emotional, and social development experienced by young women as a process of preparation for entering adulthood. In general, physical changes tend to be more dominating. Young women and menstruation have a very close relationship because menstruation is one of the important issues in young women. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and anxiety levels of young women in the face of menarche. Subjects in this study were all students of SMP Negeri 13 Jambi City with a sample of 40 people. The sampling technique is proportional random sampling. Teenage anxiety levels were measured using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) questionnaire. There is a significant relationship between knowledge and anxiety levels of young women in the face of the first menstruation (menarche). It is hoped that there will be efforts to increase adolescent knowledge about reproductive health, especially menstrual preparation in the form of school programs in collaboration with local health centers.

Abstract

AbstractDuring pregnancy changes will occur in the entire body system of the mother both physically and psychologically, although physiological but if not understood by the mother and not treated will be able to make discomfort very disturbing during the process of pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium, Prenatal Care Yoga is expected to help in dealing with discomfort during pregnancy, especially the third trimester of pregnancy Putri Ayu Health Center has provided pregnancy exercise services but has never given prenatal care yoga, due to the absence of trained staff at the Puskesmas, the researchers chose Puskesmas Putri Ayu as a research site. Intervene prenatal care yoga with quasi experimental one group pre-post-test design method. affordable population of 301 people visits K4 pregnant women to the Putri Ayu health center. he sample of purposive sampling was 32 people. The subject was carried out pre test and post test in the form discomfort questionnaire using a comparative scale of pain. Prenatal care yoga 4 times for 4 consecutive weeks Most of the third stage discomfort was pre-test, 21 (65.6%), post-test to 15 (46.9) there was an effect of prenatal care yoga on reducing complaints of discomfort of third trimester pregnant women with a p-value <0,000 (95% CI).
