Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of developing science skills in early childhood US the base for critical thinking, creativity, andproblem solving, while science learning in Early Childhood Education still tends to be theoretical and does not involve direct children'sexperiences. This study aims to describe the implementation of experimental methods in improving the science skills of children aged 5-6 years atMa'arif 28 Mountain Adi Kindergarten for the 2025/2026 Academic Year, with a focus on aspects of planning, implementation, and evaluation oflearning. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type, through data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews, and documentation of school principals, teachers, and 12 children US research subjects. The results of the study showthat the application of experimental methods is able to improve children 's science skills US a whole, including exploratory activities, the ability tosolve simple problems, creative attitudes, understanding cause and effect, and the ability to classify and sort objects. Children become more active, enthusiastic, and confident in participating in learning because they are directly involved in experimental activities. In addition, the success of thismethod is supported by the role of teachers in providing guidance, the use of varied media, and interactive and fun learning. Thus, experimentalmethods have proven to be effective in developing early childhood science skills and can be an alternative to innovative learning strategies in earlychildhood education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Friday Charity (Sedekah Jumat) habituation program, the role of parents, and its impact on the development of empathy and social care in children aged 5–6 years at RA Bustanul „Ulum Jayasakti. This research is motivated by the presence of egocentric behavior and a lack of social concern among some early childhood students. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research subjects include the principal, Group B teachers, and parents. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the Friday Charity habituation program is implemented regularly as part of character education. The role of parents is crucial, particularly through role modeling, providing understanding, and reinforcing values at home. Children who receive active parental guidance demonstrate better development of empathy, such as sharing and showing concern for others, while those who receive less support tend not to display optimal empathetic behavior. In conclusion, the Friday Charity habituation program is effective in fostering empathy and social care in early childhood when supported by active parental involvement and collaboration with the school.

Abstract

Early childhood, especially at the age of 5-6 years, is at a very important developmental stage in the formation of character, personality, and religious values, so that Islamic religious education in the family is very crucial as the initial foundation of a child's life. However, the professional background of parents, such as plantation families, influences the pattern and intensity of the implementation of religious education at home due to time constraints due to high work activities. This study aims to describe the implementation of Islamic religious education in plantation families for early childhood at RA Nurul Muttaqin Penumangan Baru, Tulang Bawang Tengah District, West Tulang Bawang Regency in the 2025/2026 Academic Year. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a type of field research, with research subjects determined through a purposive sampling technique, namely plantation parents and children aged 5-6 years. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Islamic religious education in plantation families is carried out flexibly but meaningfully through the method of role models (uswah hasanah), habituation of worship, dialogue and value development, as well as simple supervision and evaluation, despite being limited by time and busy parents. In addition, a conducive home environment and support from schools and social environments also strengthen the internalization of Islamic values in children, as shown by indicators such as knowing religion, carrying out worship, understanding moral values, cultivating good manners, maintaining cleanliness, recognizing Islamic holidays, fostering an attitude of tolerance, and internalizing spiritual values. Thus, Islamic religious education in plantation families not only functions as a transfer of knowledge, but is also effective in shaping children's religious character as a whole from an early age.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the continued discovery of early childhood behavior that does not reflect commendable morals, such as the habit of speaking rudely and swearing, which indicates a lack of synchronicity between habits at school and parenting patterns at home. This study aims to describe the collaborative and participatory efforts of teachers and parents in developing children's morals through integrated communication methods at RA Nurul Huda Bandar Mataram. This field research with a descriptive qualitative approach involved the principal, class teachers, parents/guardians of students, and students. Data collection through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the inductive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. Data validity was tested by credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results of the study indicate that efforts to develop children's morals are carried out effectively through integrated communication methods with collaborative dimensions (joint design of behavioral targets) and participatory (active involvement of parents as subjects). Teachers and parents optimize contact books, private WhatsApp messages, direct dialogue, and parenting programs, implementing role-modeling and habit-building strategies in a coordinated manner. This collaboration has been proven to reduce children's habit of using bad language and prevent confusion about values, as rules of good manners are consistently reinforced at school and at home.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at PAUD KB Al Ikhlash Gaya Baru III Central Lampung which is caused by the lack of interesting and interactive learning media variations. The purpose of this study is to develop and determine the effectiveness of the traditional rainbow rope game as a medium for stimulating gross motor skills in early childhood. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Borg and Gall model which is simplified into seven stages, namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trials, and product revisions. The research subjects consisted of media experts, material experts, and 16 children aged 5-6 years. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that the traditional rainbow rope game was declared very feasible by media experts with an average score of 3.80 and feasible by material experts with an average score of 3.00. Furthermore, the trial results showed an improvement in children's gross motor skills, indicated by a decrease in the Not Yet Developed (BB) category and an increase in the Developing as Expected (BSH) and Very Well Developed (BSB) categories. Thus, the traditional rainbow rope game is an effective learning tool to stimulate gross motor skills in early childhood in a fun and interactive way.
