Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of the use of learning media in grade V at SDN 1 Panggungrejo and SDN 3 Mojosari. After conducting a survey, the author identified problems, such as the lack of optimal use of learning media by teachers, which resulted in students paying less attention to teachers when delivering material during the learning process in the classroom. To overcome this problem, the researcher provided waterwheel-based diorama media to evaluate whether its use had an impact or not. The method used in this study was quantitative with a quasi-experimental research model in the form of multiple-choice questions. The instruments, in the form of pre-tests and post-tests, were administered in the control class and the experimental class to test students' understanding, and an analysis was conducted to calculate the t-test. The results showed that the experimental class, which used waterwheel-based diorama media, had an effect on students' understanding of the IPAS subject matter on ecosystems. This was in accordance with the calculations made using JAMOVI 2.3.28. A P value of 0.667 was obtained. Because the p value > 0.05, Ho is accepted, so it can be said that there was no effect on the conceptual understanding of elementary school students in the experimental class compared to the control class when the pretest was conducted. Meanwhile, when the posttest was conducted in the control and experimental classes, a p-value < 0.001 was obtained, which means it is less than or lower than (< 0.05). The p-value is < 0.05, so Ho is rejected, and it can be concluded that Ha is accepted. Thus, there is a significant effect on the concept comprehension test between students who participated in learning using waterwheel-based diorama media and students who participated in learning without using waterwheel-based diorama media. Ha: μ1 ≠ μ2. In conclusion, the application of waterwheel-based diorama learning media has a significant effect on fifth-grade elementary school students' understanding of ecosystem material.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how employing animated video content affects fifth-grade students' learning outcomes on the risks of smoking at SDN 3 Mojosari. The research findings indicate that the pre-test p-value was 0.384, suggesting no significant influence of animated video media on students' learning outcomes before the intervention. However, the post-test results revealed a p-value of <0.001, indicating a strong and positive effect of animated video media on students' learning outcomes. The use of appropriate learning media enhances students' understanding and improves their learning results. Animated videos captivate students' interest by integrating visual and auditory elements, thereby enriching the learning experience and enhancing student involvement in understanding the dangers of smoking. The findings demonstrate that animated video content significantly improves the learning results of fifth-grade students at SDN 3 Mojosari.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of using interactive learning resources from the Educaplay website on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade SD Islam Sunan Giri students. The method used is quantitative experimentation with a quasi-experiment non-equivalent control group design. 52 students were divided into two groups by the researcher: the experimental group, which used interactive teaching materials, and the control group, which used traditional teaching methods. Data is collected through pretest and posttest, and then it is analyzed using uji T to test hypotheses. The study's findings show that the learning outcomes of the experimental and control groups varied significantly (p-value < 0,001), indicating that the use of interactive learning materials on the Educaplay website has a positive impact on students' learning outcomes

Abstract

Advances in science and technology require teachers to creatively use interactive learning media. In reality, teachers rarely use interactive learning media during classroom instruction, resulting in low student motivation. To address this issue, a training program on creating technology-based learning media using Lectora Inspire was conducted. The objective of this training is to enhance teachers’ competencies in creating, developing, and implementing technology-based learning media. This training program consists of the following stages: 1) field survey (partners); 2) Coordination with school principals and teachers; 3) Program Socialization; 4) Program Implementation; and 5) Activity Evaluation. The results of the activities showed an increase in teachers’ knowledge and skills in designing innovative learning media. Additionally, teachers were able to produce learning media products that can be used in the classroom learning process. This program is expected to support more interactive learning, increase student motivation, and encourage the use of technology in elementary school education.
