Abstract

Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services have revolutionized digital credit access, yet they present new challenges in credit risk management due to the limitations of traditional financial data. This study aims to optimize credit risk assessment by integrating machine learning techniques, specifically K-Means Clustering for customer segmentation and Random Forest Classifier for default prediction (default_flag). Data were analyzed using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), which successfully retained 74.70% of the data variance to validate the cluster structure. The study identified three unique segments: The Safe Strategists, The High-Risk Youth, and The Affluent Late-Payers. The implementation of the Random Forest model demonstrated stable performance with an accuracy rate of 70% and a weighted recall of 70%. Feature Importance analysis revealed that digital behavioral variables, such as repayment_delay_days and app_usage_frequency, are significant predictors that compete with conventional indicators like credit_score. These findings emphasize the importance of transforming from static credit scoring to dynamic behavioral scoring to mitigate systemic risks within the Fintech ecosystem.

Abstract

Web service efficiency in handling concurrent requests is a crucial parameter in large-scale application development. Server-side JavaScript, through Node.js, offers a solution via non-blocking architecture, yet its effectiveness heavily depends on the precision of asynchronous logic implementation by the developer. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to optimize students' technical abilities in building high-performance web services within the 2024 Bangkit Academy Batch 2 Program. The implementation method was conducted through a national online workshop emphasizing asynchronous design patterns, event loop management, and race condition mitigation techniques. The results indicate an increase in participants' capabilities to reduce system latency through the efficient use of Promises and Async-Await. Technical evaluations prove that strengthening this logic not only enhances code execution speed but also ensures the reliability of web services in handling intensive workloads according to global financial and technology industry standards.

Abstract

The dominance of JavaScript in the modern web development ecosystem requires backend developers to master non-blocking programming paradigms to build scalable systems. However, the complexity of asynchronous logic often poses a cognitive barrier for novice developers in managing intensive I/O operations. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to accelerate the technical competencies of student participants in the 2024 Bangkit Academy Batch 1 Program by strengthening Asynchronous JavaScript concepts on the server side. The implementation method was conducted online nationwide through expert-led instruction sessions, code reviews, and the implementation of callbacks, promises, and async-await within the Node.js environment. The results of the activity indicate a significant increase in participants' capabilities to design efficient and low-latency server workflows. Project-based evaluations prove that a profound understanding of asynchronous logic successfully enhances code quality and participants' technical readiness to face application development challenges at global industry standards.

Abstract

The digital transformation in the banking sector has increased financial accessibility for the younger generation, yet it has also expanded vulnerabilities to cyberattacks based on psychological manipulation. High school students, as active users of mobile banking, often become primary targets of social engineering crimes due to limited literacy regarding digital identity security. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to enhance students' awareness and technical capabilities in mitigating digital fraud risks within the banking ecosystem. The implementation method was conducted through expert-sharing sessions based on the experience of banking IT practitioners, phishing attack simulations, and education on protecting credentials such as PINs and OTPs. The results indicated a significant increase in students' awareness of recognizing information manipulation patterns and multi-layered identity protection techniques. The final evaluation proved that this preventive education successfully changed students' digital behavior to be more vigilant, which is a crucial factor in maintaining the integrity of the digital financial ecosystem in the Tangerang City area.

Abstract

A national seminar titled "The Role of the Young Generation in Welcoming Indonesia Gold 2045" was organized as a strategic effort to educate and provide insights to the youth regarding their tangible contributions across various development sectors. This community service initiative was conducted at Salakanagara University, involving expert speakers in the field of informatics to discuss the relevance of technology in achieving the national vision. The methodology included socialization through material presentation, interactive discussion forums, and hybrid Q&A sessions (offline and online). Evaluation results indicated high participant enthusiasm with a total attendance of 105 people. Despite minor technical issues with the digital platform and space constraints, the activity successfully raised participant awareness of future challenges. Key recommendations include improving time management and infrastructure facilities for future events to optimize material delivery and participant interaction.

Abstract

The high competition in the industrial labor market of Tangerang Regency requires graduates of Vocational Training Centers (LPK) to possess adaptive digital competencies and strong online professionalism. However, many job seekers have not optimized digital professional platforms and still have limited skills in using cloud-based productivity software. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to enhance the competitiveness of LPK graduates through intensive mentoring in digital professional profile optimization (LinkedIn) and mastery of cloud-based office tools (Google Workspace). The implementation method consisted of socialization, technical operational training, and mentoring in digital portfolio preparation. The results indicated a significant increase in participants' understanding of the digital work ecosystem and technical skills in real-time document collaboration. The final evaluation proved that 90% of participants successfully built industry-standardized professional profiles, which is expected to accelerate labor absorption in the industrial areas of Tangerang Regency.

Abstract

The digital era requires high school students to possess critical and systematic problem-solving skills, summarized in computational thinking competencies. However, the uneven penetration of the informatics curriculum causes many 11th-grade students to still face difficulties in understanding abstract algorithmic logic. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to enhance students' computational thinking skills through block-based visual programming training and algorithmic logic analysis. The implementation method utilizes a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach consisting of three main stages: (1) introduction to the pillars of computational thinking (decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithms); (2) implementation of logic through visual programming platforms; and (3) completion of coding challenges. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in students' average logic scores between before and after the training. Students were able to transform abstract logic into systematic visual program structures. This program proves that the visual programming approach is effective in reducing technical barriers (syntax barriers) so that students can focus more on strengthening their reasoning and digital creativity.
