Abstract

This study investigates the academic performance of Grade X science students at SMA Negeri 9 Samarinda through the implementation of a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model integrated with TPACK-based interactive multimedia. A quantitative descriptive approach with a quasi-experimental design was employed. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 9 Samarinda, a newly established school located on Jl. Lempake, which began operations in March 2024. Both experimental and control groups were administered a pretest prior to the learning intervention. The experimental group recorded a mean pretest score of 31.33 (on a scale of 10 to 55), while the control group scored an average of 19.39, with scores ranging from 7 to 38. Posttest results showed that the experimental group achieved an average score of 81.36 (range: 70–92), whereas the control group averaged 68.48, with a maximum score of 90. The significant difference in posttest outcomes indicates that the TPACK-based PjBL model had a positive impact on students' academic achievement. The study concludes that the integration of interactive multimedia within a PjBL framework can enhance students’ understanding of environmental pollution and improve science learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 9 Samarinda.

Abstract

Microplastics are plastic particles smaller than 5 mm that originate from anthropogenic activities or environmental degradation. The estuarine waters of the Kenyamukan River in Sangatta, East Kutai Regency, are highly vulnerable to microplastic contamination due to intensive local activities such as fishing port operations, residential settlements, docks, and tourism sites. This study aimed to analyze the types and forms of microplastics found in several fish species inhabiting the estuarine area. The research employed a descriptive–analytical approach, with sampling conducted from March to May 2025. Fish organs analyzed included the gills and digestive system, which were extracted using NaCl solution, 10% KOH, and 30% Hâ‚‚Oâ‚‚, followed by observation under a stereo microscope. The results revealed the presence of microplastics in goatfish (Parupeneus indicus), spotted scat (Scatophagus sp.), rabbitfish (Siganus guttatus), and golden snapper (Lutjanus johnii). The identified microplastic types consisted of fibers (52%), fragments (27%), films (12%), and pellets (9%), with a total of 173 particles. The microplastic sizes ranged from 0.0012 mm to 0.1399 mm and exhibited various colors, including black, red, yellow, blue, green, transparent, orange, and pink. These findings indicate a high level of microplastic contamination in the Kenyamukan River estuary, posing potential threats to the aquatic ecosystem and the trophic food chain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di bawah bimbingan Ibu Dr. Elsje Theodora Maasawet, M.Pd., dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang didukung oleh media virtual tour berdampak pada keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa tentang materi keanekaragaman hayati endemik di Kalimantan Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen dan desain pretest-posttest control group. Dengan kelas VII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII D sebagai kelas kontrol, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Uji independent sample t-test dengan taraf signifikasi 5% digunakan untuk analisis data. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantu Virtual Tour terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa (0,000 0,005) dan hasil belajar siswa (0,001 0,005).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dibawah bimbingan Bapak Dr. H. Akhmad, M.Kes. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI pada materi sistem sensori di SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan metodologi quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling untuk kelas eksperimen (XI-1) dan kelas kontrol (XI-2). Analisis data menggunakan Independent Sample t-Test dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa uji-t dengan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa (0,004 < 0,05). Materi sistem sensori kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda terbukti memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) berbantuan media pembelajaran digital visme terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMP kelas VII pada mata pelajaran IPA. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimental semu menggunakan rancangan non-equivalent pretest-postest control group. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kelas VII A sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VII B sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Independent Sample T-Test dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test menunjukkan taraf signifikansi (Sig.) 0,005 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) berbantuan media pembelajaran digital visme terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMP kelas VII pada mata pelajaran IPA.
