Abstract

Student learning at this level is very important for reading and writing skills which are the driving force for research. Need for learning to read and write to students. are two abilities that must be taught. Lower grade students who learn in their native language usually show better learning outcomes. Purpose of this study was to identify barriers and challenges associated with reading and writing learning as well as the process of learning to read and write through mother tongue. Qualitative method descriptive instruments used interviews, observation, documentation. The results of the study, the first step in learning to read the mother tongue is to introduce letters of the alphabet, string words, read aloud, read sentences, read self-identity, and distinguish letters of the alphabet. Write alphabets, words, sentences, write self-identity, write the difference between capital and lowercase letters. Through asking and answering and interacting with friends, students understand what the teacher teaches, difficulty understanding letters, intellectual and environmental factors.

Abstract

This article explores the importance of building a sakinah (tranquil) household based on the values of the Qur'an and Sunnah as the foundational pillars of Muslim family life. A household is not merely a biological or administrative union, but a spiritual institution aimed at achieving tranquility (sakinah), love (mawaddah), and compassion (rahmah). Using a qualitative method with a literature-based approach, the authors analyze classical and contemporary Islamic sources to offer practical guidance for establishing a harmonious family. The findings reveal that many challenges in modern Muslim families stem from a lack of understanding and application of Islamic values in daily life. Therefore, value education, effective communication, and spiritual awareness are crucial in building a strong family unit emotionally, socially, and religiously. This article aims to make a meaningful contribution to the development of Muslim families and foster a morally upright society guided by divine principles.

Abstract

The aim of this development research is producing mathematical logic module with the sketch of ELPSA to increase students’ critical thinking ability and to know quality of module according to aspects of validity, and aspects of practicality. The method that use in this research is R&D (Research and Development) by the model of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subject of this research is developing module with the sketch of ELPSA in mathematical logic. The instrument that use to measure quality of this developing module  are questionnaire sheet for aspects of validity, teachers’ evaluation sheet for aspects of practically, students’ questionnaire responses, and achievement test to know students’ critical thinking ability.According to assessment of validator matter experts and media experts, this module is already valid which percentage scores are respectively 88.9% and 86.7% in the excellent category. The qualityof the module meets practically based teacher evaluation questionnaire with a percentage score is 78% in well category. As a result, the module is said to be practical.Students’ responses to the module are obtained by questionnaire which the average score is 44.99 in excellent category. As for knowing students’ critical thinking ability are based on the result of students’ pretest in XI grade and students’ post-test in X grade of MA NW Sepit who get average scores 54.3 and 91.2 with the percentage of completeness of 95.2% in greatly increased category. As a sequence, this research is showing the module that is developing which is able to use in learning process that use KTSP or 2013 curriculums. The quality of module reached criteria the quality of module and can improve students’ critical thinking ability in mathematical logic.

Abstract

This study explores how two leading national online media, detikcom and Kompas.com, construct news frames around the issue of isolation on Enggano Island through the analytical lens of Robert Entman’s framing model. Enggano, a frontier island in Bengkulu Province, has long been characterized by poor transport connectivity, limited infrastructure, and minimal state attention. Each media outlet offers a different interpretive stance, revealing how developmental inequality and the dynamics between Indonesia’s center and periphery are discursively shaped. This study adopts a qualitative framing analysis by applying Entman’s four analytical dimensions: defining the problem, diagnosing causes, making moral evaluations, and suggesting remedies. The data comprise ten online articles published in June 2025, all addressing isolation and development on Enggano. The findings indicate that detikcom constructs the issue primarily through geographical and factual perspectives, portraying Enggano as a remote area requiring infrastructure improvement. Conversely, Kompas.com situates the story within the broader context of policy disparity and governmental accountability, using a tone that is both critical and empathetic toward local communities. In terms of moral evaluation, detikcom maintains descriptive neutrality, while Kompas.com underscores unequal national development and advocates for implicit moral concern. Despite these differences, both outlets stop short of offering concrete policy recommendations. Overall, this study demonstrates that media framing serves as a pivotal mechanism for shaping how isolation and developmental inequality are perceived in Indonesia’s peripheral regions. The findings extend theoretical discussions in development communication and media studies, particularly regarding how the national media reproduces or challenges spatial inequalities within the discourse of public policy and national development.
