Abstract

This study aims to explain the efforts made by the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) of Kerujuk Ecotourism Village in community-based character education. Efforts are based on the realization that building character that has concern for the preservation of the natural environment is very important through a systematic and synergistic educational process between school education and community education. The research method uses a qualitative approach, with a case study type. Data collection through observation, interviews and documentation of activities carried out by Pokdarwis and the community of Kerujuk Ecotourism Village. The results showed that the Pokdarwis of Kerujuk Ecotourism Village initiated and implemented things that lead to the formation of the character of a generation who cares about fellow humans and also the surrounding nature. Ecotourism development is carried out by involving various levels of society, government, religious leaders, community leaders, educational leaders, youth leaders, and school-age children. Activities that support character education are mutual cooperation, compensation for orphans and the elderly, and educational games.

Abstract

The boarding house business is synonymous with a risky type of business because it deals with daily interactions with people of various habits and backgrounds. The purpose of this study is to describe the development of a boarding house business that is based on Islamic Sharia and meets the provisions of Sharia Economic Law. Measurement and analysis of research data are qualitative in nature, with a comparative level of explanation. Types and research strategies include phenomenology and are classified as field research. Data collection and analysis techniques used participant-observer forms and in-depth interviews accompanied by documents. The results of the study found a boarding business concept that is of good quality and in accordance with the rules and principles of Islamic economic law. The implementation of a boarding house business that is oriented towards the goals of the world and the hereafter begins with honesty, trust, responsibility, and consequences between the owner and the user of the boarding house. Determination of discipline according to the provisions of Islamic sharia must be carried out properly and correctly by both parties without exception, in the form of implementing the rules set by the boarding house owner, including discipline in visiting time, limiting visiting people, tolerance for shared facilities, helping each other in difficulties or making the environment around the boarding house a family sphere, coordinating in various activities out of the ordinary, and supporting each other in every positive activity. The conclusion of the study is that there is openness to all activities related to the benefit of the people.

Abstract

The dichotomy of science as a separation between two disciplines, this eventually gave birth to educational dualism, namely religious education and general education. This dichotomous view that separates the religious sciences from the general sciences is contrary to the integralistic concept of Islamic teachings. The Islamic concept views science as a whole and universally, there is no term dichotomy or separation. Efforts made to overcome this dichotomy problem are the integration of religious sciences with general sciences known as the Islamization of science. The implications of the Islamization of Science in education can be seen from 3 aspects including; institutional aspects, curriculum aspects and educator aspects. The Islamization of science is an attempt to instill Islamic values into various fields of life, especially science, the harmony between Islam and science and the extent to which science is beneficial to Muslims. The development of science must bring grace to the universe, not only through the Islamization of science but also by spiritualizing human beings, the goal is to create educational outputs that have integrity, namely people who have an integrated view of life between God, humans and nature, between science knowledge and technology where this integration will mutually strengthen faith and piety, or between faith, science and charity.

Abstract

Islamic Banking According to Law Number 21 of 2008 concerning Islamic Banking, specifically Article 1 number 7, Islamic Banks are banks that carry out their business activities based on Islamic principles and by their nature, consisting of Islamic Commercial Banks and Islamic Commercial Banks. Islamic People's Financing. In general, Islamic banks are banks whose operational activities are based on Islamic law, or banks that base their operational activities on interpreting the Qur'an and Hadith as the basis for Islamic law. It is stated that according to Law Number 21 of 2008 concerning Islamic Banking, in Article 1 number 12, the basis of Islamic faith for bank operations is a fatwa issued by an institution authorized to issue fatwas in the field of Islamic banking. The National Sharia Council confirms that murabahah sales and purchase transactions, whether in cash or installments, with the terms and conditions being met, are financed under a murabahah contract at a Sharia bank in terms of determining profits by Sharia principles. In the Islamic banking system, there is always a need for collateral or a loan prepared with the understanding that every debtor must adhere to Islamic law, as previously explained to parents. Islamic banking allows customers to be more cooperative when purchasing goods on credit or cash.

Abstract

Background. The Merdeka Curriculum as an alternative curriculum overcomes learning setbacks during the pandemic which gives "Independent Learning" freedom to learning implementers, namely teachers and principals in compiling, implementing the learning process, and developing curriculum in schools paying attention to the needs and potentials of students. Purpose. This research was conducted to provide an overview of the Merdeka Curriculum as a form of independent learning in elementary schools regarding the profile of Pancasila students, the structure of the Merdeka Curriculum in elementary schools, and the teaching tools used. Method. The research was conducted using the Library Research method (literature study) and visited a website that presents information related to the Independent Learning Curriculum in elementary schools. Results. In preparation for the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, teachers need to learn more about the Merdeka Curriculum and consider projects according to student phases in order to achieve meaningful, profound, and fun learning outcomes as well as students. Conclusion. The Merdeka Curriculum with the concept of independent learning in elementary schools provides "independence" for education implementers, especially teachers and principals, in compiling, developing and implementing the curriculum based on the potential, and needs of students and schools.

Abstract

Ketidakadilan ini bisa muncul dalam berbagai bentuk, mulai dari ketidakadilan sosial, ekonomi, hukum, hingga diskriminasi berdasarkan ras, gender, atau latar belakang sosial. Dalam banyak kasus, ketidakadilan ini berakar pada sistem yang ada dan mempengaruhi kualitas hidup individu serta kelompok dalam masyarakat. Metode penelitian untuk studi tentang pemahaman konsep keadilan dalam Al-Qur’an dapat menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis teks sebagai fokus utama. Pertama, langkah awal adalah melakukan studi literatur untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang berkaitan dengan keadilan. Analisis terhadap konsep keadilan dalam Al-Qur’an menunjukkan bahwa prinsip-prinsip keadilan tidak hanya fundamental dalam ajaran Islam, tetapi juga relevan untuk diterapkan dalam konteks sosial, ekonomi, dan hukum di era kontemporer. Ayat-ayat yang membahas keadilan menekankan pentingnya kejujuran, kesetaraan, dan perlindungan terhadap hak-hak individu, yang semuanya saling terkait dan mendukung pembentukan masyarakat yang adil. Penerapan nilai-nilai keadilan dari Al-Qur’an dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, seperti dalam transaksi bisnis dan kebijakan publik, menunjukkan dampak positif terhadap perilaku sosial. Masyarakat yang memahami dan menerapkan ajaran ini lebih cenderung menunjukkan kepedulian, empati, dan tanggung jawab sosial, yang pada gilirannya menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih inklusif dan harmonis.Kata Kunci : Konsep, Keadilan, Al-Qur’an, Ayat-Ayat Hukum.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the practice of disciplining students in a boarding school environment through a sociological approach using qualitative case study research methods. Boarding schools are formal educational institutions that systematically plan guidance, teaching, and training for students with the aim that students can develop according to their potential. The qualitative research method was chosen to explore in depth the social dynamics in boarding schools. Data were collected through interviews with students, educators, dormitory heads, and dormitory coaches, participatory observation, and document analysis related to discipline policies. The results of this study through sociological research, found that discipline occurs in boarding schools through the active role played by educators, dormitory heads, and dormitory coaches in enforcing the rules of discipline to form discipline in students. Disciplinary practices in boarding schools are carried out using two disciplinary mechanisms, namely supervision through disciplinary rules and sanctioning students. The implications of this article can provide insights for the development of disciplinary methods that are more effective and under the social needs of students.

Abstract

Online gambling can now be played by every element from children and adults to the elderly. Online gambling has dangerous impacts such as financial losses, stress, crime, and even death. Based on this, it is necessary to socialize with students at the Universitas Indo Global Mandiri Palembang campus to discover the dangers behind online gambling. The method used in this socialization activity is identifying problems, planning, and involving government agencies. In its implementation, this socialization method is also carried out using lectures, case studies, and discussions to evaluate participant understanding. Based on the results of this socialization activity, among others; First, the socialization participants were attended by 80 students. Second, the participants were enthusiastic about the material presented to gain insight. Third, participants will be careful not to play online gambling after knowing the dangerous impacts of the game. In addition, to test their knowledge, a quiz was carried out with several questions and participants were able to answer the questions given.

Abstract

Gamification,  an  approach  that  integrates  game  elements into  non-game  contexts,  has  attracted  attention  as  an innovative tool for increasing students' learning motivation. In  the  context  of  Islamic  education,  the  application  of gamification  offers  great  potential  to  make  religious learning  more  interesting  and  interactive.  This  research aims  to  explore  the  effectiveness  of  gamification  in increasing  students'  learning  motivation  in  Islamic religious subjects, as well as identifying challenges that may be faced in its implementation. Literature studies show that gamification  can  create  a  more  enjoyable  learning environment, increase student engagement, and encourage the development of critical thinking skills. Elements such as points,  badges,  levels,  and  competitions  can  motivate students  to  achieve  learning  goals.  However,  there  are several challenges in implementing gamification in Islamic education. One of them is the need to adapt game elements to  Islamic  values.  In  addition,  limited  resources  and technological infrastructure can be an obstacle.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka di Indonesia memerlukan keterlibatan aktif guru dalam menyeimbangkan interpretasi ilmu pengetahuan dan agama. Dalam hal ini, guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang tidak hanya mengajarkan materi, tetapi juga mendukung siswa dalam mengaitkan pengetahuan ilmiah dengan nilai-nilai agama. Guru diharapkan dapat menjelaskan konsep-konsep ilmiah dengan cara yang relevan dan selaras dengan ajaran agama, sehingga siswa mampu memahami dan menghormati keduanya sebagai bagian penting dari proses pendidikan mereka. Peran guru dalam menginterpretasikan ilmu pengetahuan dan agama sangat penting untuk membentuk karakter siswa yang holistik dan berintegritas. Dengan pendekatan yang kontekstual, guru dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif, di mana siswa didorong untuk berpikir kritis dan kreatif. Hal ini juga mendorong siswa untuk mengeksplorasi pemahaman mereka tentang dunia dengan tetap berpegang pada nilai-nilai moral dan spiritual. Dalam menghadapi tantangan global dan perkembangan teknologi, guru yang kompeten akan mampu membimbing siswa untuk menjadi individu yang cerdas, beretika, dan mampu berkontribusi positif dalam masyarakat. Dengan demikian, peran guru dalam kurikulum merdeka tidak hanya terbatas pada pengajaran, tetapi juga pada pembentukan karakter dan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang ilmu pengetahuan dan agama.
