Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pola pemanfaatan lahan di kegiatan usahatani petani Arfak denganmenggunakan pendekatan berdasarkan diagram cincin yang dikembangkan oleh Von Thunen. Penelitian ini menggunakanmetode deksriptif dengan pendekatan survey. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari petani sub suku Hatam dan Moile yangdiambil berdasarkan metode proporsi, 76,7% berasal dari Sub Suku Hatam dan 23,3% berasal dari sub Moile denganpertimbangan bahwa sub suku Hatam adalah pemilik hak ulayat di Kampung Dindey, sementara sub suku Moile adalahpendatang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan penelusuran studi pustaka. Analisis datamenggunakan metode kuantitatif yaitu tabulasi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis lahan yangdimanfaatkan oleh petani untuk berusahatani adalah lahan pekarangan, kebun dan lereng gunung.dengan mengusahakan 21jenis komoditi dengan pola tanam campuran dan teknik budidaya mulai dari penyiapan bibit sampai dengan pemasaran sertamemiliki luasan lahan yang berbeda-beda. Pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan digunakan untuk sebagai lahan konsumtifsementara pemanfaatan lahan kebun maupun lahan lereng gunung digunakan untuk sebagai lahan produktif

Abstract

The taro farming branch activities carried out by the community in Sauf village, South Ayamaru District have been carried out for a long time and have been done regularly and passed down from generation to generation. This is because the role of taro is quite significant for farming families from an economic perspective and the food security of farming families. Thus, this research aims to determine the level of income and efficiency of the taro farming branch. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a survey approach. The survey was conducted to determine the research location, namely Sauf Village, Ayamaru District and to determine the research subjects, namely taro farmers, who were taken using a simple random method. Primary data obtained through questionnaire-based interviews with 30 farmers was processed tabulatedly and analyzed using the B/C ratio. The research results show that the total income of taro farmers in one planting season is IDR 13,083,833 with an average per capita income of Rp. 436.128. To fullfill food needs, farming families use half of their production for family food. Furthermore, regarding the efficiency of the taro farming branch, the efficiency value of the taro farming branch is 3.10, which shows that the taro farming branch carried out by farmers in Sauf Village, South Ayamaru District is efficient. Efficiency occurs due to the use of relatively low variable costs, namely only transportation costs to the market, while the selection of seeds is taken from the plants before harvest, and there is no hired labor.

Abstract

The first objective of this research is to determine the productivity of cocoa farming, and the second is to determine the level of application of post-harvest technology in Sidey Jaya Village. The method used in this research is descriptive method with survey approach. The survey sample was 30 respondents who were selected using the purposive method. The results showed that the average cocoa productivity in Sidey Jaya village was 70.22 kg/ha in one harvest. Based on the results of multiple linear analysis, the variables of cost, formal education, farming experience, frequency of attending extension services, number of family members, relative profit and complexity of innovation simultaneously affect the application of cocoa post-harvest technology. However, partially, the variables of formal education and frequency of attending extension services have an effect on the level of application of post-harvest technology. (X1) Formal education has a real effect and (X3) Frequency of attending extension services has a very real effect or can be said to be significant on the level of application of cocoa post-harvest technology (Y). The level of application of post-harvest technology of cocoa farmers in Sidey Jaya Village is low because farmers do not apply all post-harvest technologies.

Abstract

The right marketing strategy is the main key to sustainable marketing activities. The purpose of this research is to (1) identify the internal and external factors affecting the Mansel Chocolate Production House business and (2) develop a suitable marketing strategy for its implementation. A descriptive method employs a survey approach. Data analysis uses SWOT analysis. The research results show: The Internal Strategy Analysis Factor Matrix, which is based on strength factors, scored 2.44, while the score for weaknesses is 1.17. The Strategy Analysis External Factor Matrix shows that the opportunity factor has a score of 0.67, and the threat has a score of 0.96. The Mansel Chocolate Production House can implement the following marketing strategies: the SO (Strength-Opportunity) Strategy, "Creating quality products and distinctive tastes," the WO (Weakness-Opportunity) Strategy, "Increasing machine capacity with partners (Bank Indonesia)," the ST (Strength-Threat) Strategy, "Maintaining product quality and making various chocolate variants," and the WT (Weakness-Threat) Strategy, "Making packaging more interesting and new variants in terms of shape and taste."

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keuntungan dan efisiensi usaha keripik singkong Keluarga Subani. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan teknik studi kasus. Sebagai kasus dalam penelitian ini adalah usaha keripik singkong yang dikelola oleh Bapak Subani karena usaha keripik singkong ini merupakan usaha keripik pertama di Manokwari dan sudah berjalan cukup lama. Keluarga Subani mengembangkan usaha keripik singkong ini dengan menggunakan gerobak dorong, sehingga keuntungan dan efisiensi dari usaha keripik singkong ini perlu diketahui. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah Pengusaha Keripik Singkong yaitu Pemilik Usaha Keripik Singkong Keluarga Subani Distrik Manokwari Barat Kabupaten Manokwari, sehingga data yang dikumpulkan adalah data primer dan data sekunder yang selanjutnya dianalisis secara tabulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa besarnya keuntungan yang diperoleh dari usaha keripik singkong keluarga subani selama satu bulan adalah Rp. 8.844.000. Usaha keripik singkong keluarga subani mempunyai nilai efisiensi lebih dari satu, yaitu sebesar 1,54 sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa usaha ini menguntungkan. Setiap Rp. 1,00 biaya yang dikeluarkan dalam kegiatan usaha keripik singkong keluarga subani memberikan penerimaan sebesar 1,54 kali dari biaya yang dikeluarkan.
