Abstract

Learning process in the school is composed by planning, implementation, evaluation, and control. Topic of learning consisted by introduction, topic focus, and summary as planned in the RPP was presented in the classroom. The implementation of learning process in middle high school in capital of Manokwari and its suburb region was compared to know its relation with points of national test. The information was gathered by field observation, interview, and document analysis. Learning process in middle high school in Manokwari was running and qualified as enough or good. The weakest of learning process is its implementation in the classroom. Good learning process is not always followed by a good point of national test.

Abstract

Provinsi Papua Barat memiliki salah satu sumberdaya alam yaitu Tanah Endapan Fosfat Krandalit (TEFK) di Kabupaten Maybrat seluas lebih dari 100.000 hektar dan bahan organik yang dapat diproses menjadi pupuk fosfat-plus. Penelitian tentang pemanfaatan TEFK dan bahan organik yang diproses menjadi pupuk fosfat padat dan cair telah dilakukan dengan menghasilkan produk  pupuk “Papua  Nutrient”. Teknologi produk ini telah memperoleh hak paten (ID P0030110), sehingga perlu dikembangkan lebih lanjut. Produksi Pupuk Fosfat-Plus merupakan usaha melalui kegiatan Iptek bagi Inovasi dan Kreativitas Kampus (IbIKK) milik Jurusan Ilmu Tanah dan Sumber Daya Lahan, Faperta Universitas Papua. Penyediaan pupuk dengan formulasi tertentu sangat diperlukan untuk memperoleh nutrisi seimbang sesuai kebutuhan setiap jenis tanaman sehingga lebih efektif dan ekonomis.  Diharapkan dengan adanya unit usaha pupuk IbIKK, dapat dikembangkan menjadi industri pupuk skala menengah sehingga petani di Provinsi Papua Barat dapat memperoleh pupuk lokal berkualitas dengan harga terjangkau dan selalu tersedia. Kegiatan IbIKK pupuk ini merupakan pemanfaatan salah satu produk Intelektual Kampus  Universitas Papua untuk memperoleh manfaat ekonomi. Formula pupuk ini dibuat dengan mencampurkan fosfat alam lokal, bahan organik dan formula tambahan sesuai kebutuhan jenis tanaman. Pada tahun ke-1 program ini telah menghasilkan tiga jenis pupuk organik dan semi organik yaitu: pupuk kompos, pupuk kotoran ternak,  pupuk fosfat cair-plus, pupuk fosfat-plus granul. Produk pupuk ini telah dipromosi ke pengguna yaitu: lingkungan kampus, penyuluh pertanian, dan petani di daerah transmigrasi Manokwari. Pupuk ini juga telah didistribusikan ke kelompok Tani, dan dipasarkan melalui kegiatan open house di kampus UNIPA. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan IbIKK Tahun I adalah rata-rata produksi pupuk per semester adalah 1,2 ton pupuk kompos, 0,5 ton pupuk fosfat granul dan 150 Liter Pupuk Fosfat-Cair.Harga Jual pupuk kompos Rp 10.000 kg-1, Pupuk Fosfat-Plus Granul  Rp 15.000 kg-1. Total penerimaan per semester pada tahun I sebesar   Rp 6.072.000. Pada tahun kedua pemesanan pupuk fosfat cair sebanyak 1006 liter dengan total peneriamaan  sebesar  Rp 62.372.000.

Abstract

The high demand for areca nut makes it a product that has good economic opportunities, however local areca nut production in West Manokwari District has not been able to meet this need. The purpose of this research is to find out who are the actors in the areca value chain, the map of the areca value chain, and the problems and potentials of areca value chain development. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on the results of the research, the value chain actors are betel nut farmers, wholesalers, market collectors, retailers, and consumers. Problems in the areca value chain are traditional areca nut cultivation techniques, no processing of areca products, and the determination of the price for areca nut at the farmer level, which is still based on the farmer's assessment without a standard unit (kilogram). Potential development is the optimization of cultivation techniques, creating independent areca nut processed products, determining the price of areca nuts according to the standard unit.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pala merupakan salah satu jenis rempah-rempah yang menjadi komoditi unggul di Kabupaten Fakfak dan telah diperdagangkan baik antara pulau maupun telah diekspor. Pengelolaan pala yang baik dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani pala. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui tingkat penerapan petani pala tentang kualitas produk pala, (2) manganlisis hubungan/pengaruh antara karakteristik petani pala dengan penerapan standar panen dan pasca panen untuk menghasilkan pala yang berkualitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengambilan contoh secara purporsive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Tingkat penerapan Standar panen dan pasca panen pala di Kampung Sum, Puar Dan Adora dikategorikan “tinggi”, dimana komponen karakteristik/ciri pala matang merupakan komponen penerapan tertinggi yang diterapkan petani pala dalam standar panen sebesar 2,80 (tinggi), sebaliknya komponen penerapan pasca panen untuk komponen bentuk kemasan biji dan fuli pala adalah yang terendah sebesar 1,47 (rendah). Hasil dari Hubungan/pengaruh antara variabel karakteristik dan variabel penerapan yang memiliki hubungan/pengaruh adalah (a) sub variabel umur mempunyai hubungan/pengaruh terhadap penerapan standar panen dan (b) sub variabel penyuluhan memiliki hubungan/berpengaruh terhadap penerapan pasca panen. Kata kunci : Kualitas, Pala, Penerapan ABSTRACT Nutmeg is one type of spice which is a superior commodity in Fakfak Regency and has been traded both between islands and has been exported. Good nutmeg management can improve the welfare of nutmeg farmers. The purpose of this study was (1) to determine the level of application of nutmeg farmers regarding the quality of nutmeg products, (2) to analyze the relationship or influence between the characteristics of nutmeg farmers and the application of harvest and post-harvest standards to produce quality nutmeg. The method used is descriptive with a case study approach. The sampling technique was purporsive sampling. The results of this study indicate that the level of application of harvest and post-harvest standards of nutmeg in village Sum, Puar and Adora is categorized as "high", where the characteristic component or characteristics of ripe nutmeg is the highest application component applied by nutmeg farmers in the harvest standard of 2.80 (high). On the other hand, the post-harvest application component for the components of the packaging form of seeds and mace of nutmeg is the lowest at 1.47 (low). The results of the relationship or influence between characteristic variables and application variables that have a relationship or influence are (a) the age variable has a relationship or influence on the application of harvest standards and (b) the extension variable has a relationship or effect on post-harvest implementation. Abstract

Kelapa (Cocos Nucifera) merupakan salah satu tanaman yang memiliki banyak manfaat, dimana pada setiap bagian tanamannya memiliki nilai guna bagi kehidupan. Berbagai komoditas turunan kelapa telah masuk pasar global, salah satunya adalah kopra (daging kelapa kering) yang dapat diolah menjadi berbagai macam produk antara lain minyak goreng, kosmetik, maupun pakan ternak berbahan dasar bungkil (limbah) kopra. Potensi ini menunjukkan bahwa terbuka peluang yang sangat besar untuk pengembangan usaha kelapa secara baik dan berkelanjutan guna peningkatan perekonomian nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor lingkungan internal (kekuatan dan kelemahan) dan eksternal (peluang dan ancaman) serta untuk mengetahui startegi pengembangan usahatani kelapa yang ada di Kampung Wau Distrik Abun Kabupaten Tambrauw. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa metode deskriptif dengan teknik studi kasus (case study). Analisis data menggunakan Analisis SWOT untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal dari keberhasilan usahatani kelapa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa usahatani di Kampung Wau Distrik Abun Kabupaten Tambrauw berada pada posisi strategi sel II (tumbuh dan membangun) sehingga akan tetap dalam menggunakan strategi intergratif untuk mendukung S-O (strenghts- opportunities) yaitu meningkatkan strategi pengembangan usahatani kelapa dengan memanfaatkan kekuatan dan peluang yang ada.

Abstract

The people of Vascodamneem Village are a transmigration community in 1997, the majority of whom make their living as farmers. Agriculture in Vascodamneem Village survived until 2012 and the farming community began to shift their livelihoods to oil palm plantation labor. Therefore, research is needed to determine the factors causing the shift in livelihoods and the impact on agricultural land. This research aims to (1) determine the factors causing the shift in livelihoods from rice farmers to oil palm plantation workers (Elaeis guineensis jacq); (2) knowing the impact of changing the livelihoods of rice farmers to oil palm workers (Elaeis guineensis jacq). The method used in this research is a descriptive method with case study techniques. This research data collection includes (1) primary data and (2) secondary data. Primary data was collected using the interview method using a questionnaire. Secondary data was obtained from various types of literature and various related agencies. The research results show that the driving factors that influence are income as a farmer with an average score of 5, risks in farming with an average score of 4.4, agricultural facilities with an average score of 4.75. The influencing pull factors are wages and income with an average score of 4.5, working conditions with an average score of 3.27, employment facilities with an average score of 4. The impact on land from the transition of livelihoods, namely agricultural land to idle land (uncultivated land).

Abstract

Pertambahan penduduk yang selalu meningkat akan menjadi konsekuensi meningkatnya kebutuhan pangan. Komoditiberas merupakan salah satu komoditi pangan utama yang terus mengalami peningkatan jumlah permintaannya.Peningkatan produksi padi perlu terus diupayakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan beras yang terus bertambah.Memaksimalkan produksi padi sangat tergantung pada penggunaan factor produksi.Penggunaan faktor produksi danpenerapan teknologi yang kurang tepat menyebabkan produksi rendah. Faktor produksi harus digunakan secara efesienagar petani mendapatkan hasil optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk menganalisa tingkat optimasi faktor produksiterhadap produki padi sawah di Kampung Bumi Raya dengan menggunakan metode survey dan teknik simple randomsampling untuk mendapatkan sampel. Analisis optimasi faktor produksi menggunakan pendekatan tingkat Optimasiyaitu rasio NPMxi dan Pxi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat optimasi penggunaan faktor produksi lahan, tenagakerja, modal, bibit, pupuk dan pestisida memiliki besaran nilai NPMxi < 1 maka dapat dikatakan bahwa penggunaanfaktor produksi masih kurang sehingga perlu ditambahkan untuk mencapai tingkat optimal.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze corn farming, influencing production factors, determine the level of allocative efficiency and income received by farmers in one planting season in Sumber Boga Village, Masni District, Manokwari Regency. The selection of research locations was carried out deliberately (purposive sampling) with the consideration that the area was a corn production center. The analytical methods used are linear regression analysis of corn with the Cobb-Douglass function, allocative efficiency analysis, and farmer income analysis. The research results show that simultaneously, all X variables influence corn production. Meanwhile, partially, the land area and fertilizer variables have an effect on corn production, the seed, labor and pesticide variables have no effect on corn production. The regression results show that the adjusted R2 value is 0.968 or 96.8%. This means that 96.8% of corn production is explained by variable X, while 3.2% is explained by other variables. The results of the allocative efficiency analysis show that seeds, pesticides, land, labor and fertilizer are inefficient. The research results show that the average cost of running a corn farm is Rp 1,908,927 and revenue is Rp 3,160,000, so the income received by farmers is Rp 1,251,073.

Abstract

The taro farming branch activities carried out by the community in Sauf village, South Ayamaru District have been carried out for a long time and have been done regularly and passed down from generation to generation. This is because the role of taro is quite significant for farming families from an economic perspective and the food security of farming families. Thus, this research aims to determine the level of income and efficiency of the taro farming branch. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a survey approach. The survey was conducted to determine the research location, namely Sauf Village, Ayamaru District and to determine the research subjects, namely taro farmers, who were taken using a simple random method. Primary data obtained through questionnaire-based interviews with 30 farmers was processed tabulatedly and analyzed using the B/C ratio. The research results show that the total income of taro farmers in one planting season is IDR 13,083,833 with an average per capita income of Rp. 436.128. To fullfill food needs, farming families use half of their production for family food. Furthermore, regarding the efficiency of the taro farming branch, the efficiency value of the taro farming branch is 3.10, which shows that the taro farming branch carried out by farmers in Sauf Village, South Ayamaru District is efficient. Efficiency occurs due to the use of relatively low variable costs, namely only transportation costs to the market, while the selection of seeds is taken from the plants before harvest, and there is no hired labor.

Abstract

The Ebier Suth Cokran Cooperative is a cooperative that produces Ransiki cocoa and markets it in the form of dry cocoa beans for domestic and foreign markets. In running the cocoa production business, the cooperative forms partnerships with cocoa farmers in South Manokwari district. This research aims to determine the internal and external factors in the cocoa business at the Eiber Suth Cokran Cooperative and to determine the business development strategy at the Eiber Suth Cokran Ransiki Cooperative, South Manokwari Regency. The method used in this research is the descriptive method. The data analysis used in this research uses SWOT analysis. The research results show that from the evaluation results of the Internal Factor Strategy Analysis (IFAS) matrix, the strength and weakness factors have a score of 3.35, which identifies that the Eiber Suth Cokran Cooperative is internally strong, whereas in terms of internal strength, it is in the product and management aspects. Meanwhile, the External Factor Analysis Strategy Matrix (EFAS) shows that the opportunity and threat factors have a score of 2.18, which identifies that the Eiber Suth Cokran Cooperative takes advantage of existing opportunities by avoiding threats. The business development strategy that can be implemented by the Eiber Suth Cokran Cooperative is StrengthsOpportunities (SO) to maintain quality cocoa bean products that are always available. WeaknessesOpportunities (WO): improving technology to maintain the superiority of cocoa beans. Strength-Threat (ST): increasing production and quality from processing to post-harvest handling and sorting of cocoa beans in order to maintain good-quality cocoa beans. Weaknesses-Threats (WT): optimizing cocoa plants by fertilizing and dealing with pests and diseases of cocoa plants
