Abstract

The existence of push and pull factors for the transformation of the agricultural workforce is a reflection of the condition of the non-agricultural sector which is considered to be more profitable and / or the condition of the agricultural sector which is no longer profitable. The research aims to examine the pull and push factors of labor transformation in Aimim Village and identify the types of non-agricultural sector jobs carried out by transformed workers. The respondent was determined using the snowball technique (snowball). The method of data analysis obtained in this study is processed using tabulation analysis which is the driving factor for wages, farm income, land area, risk. Abstract

Suku Arfak pada masa lampau adalah peramu dan mereka baru saja tranformasi menjadi petani intensif dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir, walaupun belum semua berorientasi ekonomis. Umumnya komoditi yang diusahakan adalah komoditi tanaman pangan dan hortikultura karena juga di gunakan untuk pemenuhan pangan keluarga. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui jenis cabang usahatani sayuran, klasifikasi usahatani sayuran petani lokal suku Arfak di Kampung Warbiadi Distrik Oransbari Kabupaten Manokwari Selatan. Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, dan pengamatan terhadap sekitar 30 petani asal suku Arfak yang melakukan kegiatan usahatani. Analisis data menggunakan anallisis data deskriptif yaitu dengan tabulasi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan beberapa hal yakni: jenis cabang usahatani sayuran yang dominan di Kampung Warbiadi adalah cabang usahatani kacang panjang, buncis, tomat, bayam, kangkung dan sawi. Klasifikasi usahatani sayuran di Kampung Warbiadi menggambarkan bahwa usahatani suku Arfak di Kampung Warbiadi adalah usahatani perorangan, bercorak komersil komersial dengan pola tanam tidak khusus dan tipe usahatani lahan kering. Sektor pertanian merupakan salah satu sektor yang menjadi penopang kehidupan sebagian besar masyarakat di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini merekomendasikan beberapa hal yakni bahwa perlu ada pendampingan rutin dari instansi teknis maupun pihak terkait lainnya untuk meningkatkan produksi usahatani sayuran. Bimbingan teknis, penyediaan SAPROTAN maupun pemasaran hasil adalah aspek penting yang harus didorong sehingga percepatan kesejahteraan petani Arfak dapat tercapai.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the optimal use of production factors such as land area, labor and costs to increase the quantity of sweet potato production. This research was conducted in Kampung Webi using 30 sample farmers. Data were analyzed using Cobb-Douglas multiple regression then continued using SPSS. The results of the research concluded that together these factors influence sweet potato production, and these factors are able to explain sweet potato production of 17.57kg/season. Partially, the production factors that have a real influence are land area and cost of sweet potatoes. one food crop as a substitute for the staple food (rice). Sweet potatoes can grow both in the lowlands and in the mountains with a temperature of 270c and a light period of 11-12 hours per day (Soemartono, 1984). According to the Big Indonesian Dictionary (Depdikbud: 1995: 628) optimization comes from the basic word optimal which means best and highest. So optimization is a process of improving or improving. Hysocc, (2014) said that optimization is a process to achieve ideal results or optimization (the effective value that can be achieved). According to Sofyan, (2015) production is all activities in creating and increasing the utility of goods and services, for activities where production factors are needed in economics in the form of land, labor and skills (organizational, managerial and skills).

Abstract

The right marketing strategy is the main key to sustainable marketing activities. The purpose of this research is to (1) identify the internal and external factors affecting the Mansel Chocolate Production House business and (2) develop a suitable marketing strategy for its implementation. A descriptive method employs a survey approach. Data analysis uses SWOT analysis. The research results show: The Internal Strategy Analysis Factor Matrix, which is based on strength factors, scored 2.44, while the score for weaknesses is 1.17. The Strategy Analysis External Factor Matrix shows that the opportunity factor has a score of 0.67, and the threat has a score of 0.96. The Mansel Chocolate Production House can implement the following marketing strategies: the SO (Strength-Opportunity) Strategy, "Creating quality products and distinctive tastes," the WO (Weakness-Opportunity) Strategy, "Increasing machine capacity with partners (Bank Indonesia)," the ST (Strength-Threat) Strategy, "Maintaining product quality and making various chocolate variants," and the WT (Weakness-Threat) Strategy, "Making packaging more interesting and new variants in terms of shape and taste."

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat pendapatan masyarakat Kampung Buk yang bekerja disektor pertanian dan menganalisis kontribusi pendapatan usahatani masyarakat terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga di kampung Buk. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan studi. Analisa yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini analisa statistik dengan tabulasi. Data yang dianalisis adalah data tentang perhitungan pendapatan/penerimaan biaya usahatani, dan kontribusi pendapatan usahatani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pendapatan rumahtangga paling tinggi di Kampung Buk berasal dari usahatani tanaman pangan dan hortikutura yaitu sebesar Rp 3,360,138 dan yang paling kecil berasal dari perikanan yaitu Rp 758,471. Kontribusi pendapatan rumah tangga yang berasal dari tanaman pagan dan hortikultura di Kampung Buk adalah sebesar 30,% dari total pendapatan rumahtangga.

Abstract

This study aims to compare farming systems by identifying the characteristics of farming management applied by two groups of farmers, namely local farmers and transmigrant farmers in Sidey District, Manokwari Regency, West Papua Province based on patterns, forms, types and characteristics. The data analysis used is comparative and descriptive qualitative presented in simple tabulations. Data collection techniques through literature studies of farming data in two different villages. The results of the analysis show: based on age, it was found that local farmers with more productive ages than transmigrant farmers. The level of education possessed by local farmers is higher than that of transmigrant farmers, the number of dependents of family members owned by transmigrant farmers is greater than that of local farmers. The farming experience of transmigrant farmers is longer than that of local farmers. The form of farming of these two groups is individual (individual farm). The pattern of farming of both is commercial with local farmers' income lower than that of transmigrant farmers. According to the farming pattern, local farmers have a mixed farming pattern and transmigrant farmers have a special farming pattern. According to type, transmigration farmers operate their farming businesses on both wet and dry land, while local farmers predominantly operate their farming businesses on dry land.
