Abstract

Kawasan Puncak Sekuning kelurahan Lorok Pakjo merupakan salah satu kawasan di kota Palembang yang mulai  terdapat genangan air beberapa tahun  terakhir. Seperti diketahui genangan banyak terjadi di kawasan – kawasan  dengan tingkat kepadatan penduduk yang semakin tinggi. Upaya konservasi perlu dilakukan untuk mengurangi tingginya limpasan dan rendahnya resapan sehingga keseimbangan lingkungan hidrologi di kawasan tersebut tetap terjaga.Pada kawasan Puncak Sekuning  konsep konservasi yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan membuat kolam resapan, perbaikan sistem jaringan drainase dan saluran alam. Pada permukiman penduduk sedapat mungkin diterapkan struktur konservasi berupa Bioretention Area dengan memanfaatkan lahan kosong yang ada. Pemilihan konsep ini karena sesuai untuk lokasi relatif kecil, volume genangan air  masih normal, menciptakan kondisi asri dan pemeliharaan yang mudah, dengan demikian air limpasan dapat ditahan dan disimpan dalam tanah serta sebagian akan mengalir ke saluran alam.  Dalam melakukan konservasi lahan dan air didaerah Puncak Sekuning kelurahan Lorok Pakjo, perlu dipertimbangkan beberapa faktor antara lain : sifat hujan, sifat fisik kawasan, penggunaan lahan dan pengelolaannya. Faktor-faktor tersebut perlu dipertimbangkan dalam menentukan konsep untuk mengatasi limpasan air hujan dan meminimalisasi tingkat pencemaran air.Konservasi lahan dan air pada kawasan Puncak Sekuning dilakukan dengan memperbaiki system jaringan drainase yang ada, normalisasi saluran alam, dan pembangunan struktur limpasan pengendali air limpasan. Kata Kunci: Konservasi lahan, sitem jaringan drainase

Abstract

Due to the intricacy of the challenges that arise during the execution of work, a significant amount of thework that is done does not conform to the one that was intended. Neither on time, quality, nor the price,which is something that sometimes happens overbugdet. To be successful in overcoming this obstacle, youwill need to have excellent cost, quality, and time management.Using the Value of Results Method is oneof the many ways that construction work may be handled in an efficient and straightforward manner. Thisstudy's objective is to arrive at an estimate of the time and money required to complete the project interms of how much it will effect the cost if it happens. Using the Earned Value Analysis approach is theresearch method that will be used to determine how to assess the value of the outcomes on projectperformance in terms of time and cost as well as the expected amount of time needed to finish the project.Based on the application of the results value that was studied during a period of 54 weeks, it wasdiscovered that the completion of the project would experience an acceleration of work, specifically for74.4 weeks, when the anticipated duration was 76 weeks. This was discovered after the results value wasexamined within a period of 54 weeks. In the meanwhile, when it came to the expenses of the job, it didnot come out as expected, which was Rp. 71.424.373.019. The ultimate sum of all costs associated withthe project was Rp 66.081.465.169. The fact that there is a gap of -Rp.5.342.907.850 between the overallcost of the work and the cost of the plan indicates that the project will be profitable.

Abstract

Rice fields that rely mostly on rainwater for irrigation are known as rainfed rice fields. Only the wet season yields rice fields like this one. Because of the heavy rains throughout the rainy season, agricultural land's water supply is not a concern. But during the dry season, when the water supply is getting smaller, the requirement for water for plants becomes a complex issue. This study aims to find out whether the rainfall currently available can satisfy the water needs of rainfed rice fields in Karya Mulia Village, Sematang Borang District, Palembang City, and to optimize the water supply. The following was discovered by the study's findings: water balance of discharge of water availability and water requirement for rainfed rice fields in Karya Mulia Village, which has a land area of 58 Ha, there is a water balance value of 23.711 mm per hari, which meets the water balance requirement for one growing season of rice plantsIn order to be optimal in the second growing season, it can be planted with crops that balance the availability and water demand at 10.844 mm/day.

Abstract

Water is one of the most essential needs for human existence; without it, life as we know it would not exist. While the Earth has a vast supply of water, only a small portion is usable. This study explores the relationship between water needs, availability, and irrigation efficiency specifically in rice field irrigation. To assess the amount of water required for irrigation, the KP-01 irrigation concept manual is utilized, while the F.J. Mock Method determines the amount of available water. Both figures are used to analyze the relationship between water needs and availability. In Mulyasari Village, the rice field irrigation system employs a rice-rice planting pattern across an area of 82 hectares. During the first planting season, the average water availability is 0.046 m³/sec, while the average water requirement is 0.073 m³/sec. In the second planting season, the average water availability decreases to 0.039 m³/sec, while the average water requirement increases to 0.096 m³/sec. The results indicate that in both planting seasons, the water needs have not been met based on the relationship between irrigation water availability and requirements. Additionally, there is one channel, tertiary channel III, that has not met the required standards. It operates at 70.09%, which is below the necessary threshold of 80% for tertiary channels.

Abstract

School building is the main component of supporting teaching and learning and becomes one of the determining factors for improving the  quality of an educational institusional.The availability of facilities and infrastrctureis in important elemen as a support of  the  success of the education and teaching process in the school environment, so that proper maintenance and maintenance are needed in the use of the building, The research employed survey and interview methods. Based on the findings, five buildings were classified as lightly damaged: Building A of SDN 187, Building C of SDN 190, Building D of SDN 190, and two other Building Bs (school names not specified). One building, Building A of SDN 183, was found to be moderately damaged. Three buildings were classified as severely damaged: Building B of SDN 183, Building B of SDN 187, and a building at SDN 193. Of the total nine buildings assessed, the damage distribution was as follows: 56% lightly damaged, 11% moderately damaged, and 33% severely damaged. The total estimated repair cost for the five public elementary schools in Kalidoni District, Palembang City is Rp1,258,764,563.04 (one billion, two hundred fifty-eight million, seven hundred sixty-four thousand, five hundred sixty-three rupiah).

Abstract

This action research was aimed at finding out whether students' speaking ability could be improved by presenting short videos. This research was done at the third year students ofSMAN4 OKU. There were 41 students. This research was carried out by asking the students to present short videos. Other students asked and answer the questions. Before, during and after the action was conducted, the teacher observed and took a note with the help from his collaborator. This action research was conducted in 2 cycles. In each cycle, I did four steps : a. Planning, b. Implementing Action,. Interpreting and, d. Analyzing and Reflecting. Each cycle was done in three weeks, fourty five minutes every week. The research finding showed the students' speaking ability could be improved by presenting short videos. Presentation with short videos could stimulate the students to participate actively in teaching learning activities. Finally, the result of the observation indicated that most of the students were able to speak English with short videos presentation.
