Abstract

The Government requires the classroom learning system to be replaced with learning at home through an online system. This research was conducted to develop learning media based on Google sites in the subject of network service technology. This research was conducted to see the feasibility of the developed Google sites-based learning media. The method used in this research is Research and Development with ADDIE development were Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The development stage involved four validators as media experts and materials experts to assess the feasibility of media and materials. The implementation phase was limited to involving 34 students of class XII Computer Network Engineering. Collecting data using validation questionnaires, response questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis techniques are descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results of this study are learning media products based on Google sites in the course of network service technology. One of the materials discussed is a firewall on a VoIP network. The results of the feasibility test show that the Google sites-based learning media is feasible to use. This is based on the validation of media experts who obtained an average result of 97,3% in the “strongly agree” category, material expert validation obtained an average result of 88,6% in the “strongly agree” and based on the results of the questionnaire students obtained an average result of 92,86% in the “strongly agree”. This indicates that all aspects assessed are in the very good category.

Abstract

Rice fields that rely mostly on rainwater for irrigation are known as rainfed rice fields. Only the wet season yields rice fields like this one. Because of the heavy rains throughout the rainy season, agricultural land's water supply is not a concern. But during the dry season, when the water supply is getting smaller, the requirement for water for plants becomes a complex issue. This study aims to find out whether the rainfall currently available can satisfy the water needs of rainfed rice fields in Karya Mulia Village, Sematang Borang District, Palembang City, and to optimize the water supply. The following was discovered by the study's findings: water balance of discharge of water availability and water requirement for rainfed rice fields in Karya Mulia Village, which has a land area of 58 Ha, there is a water balance value of 23.711 mm per hari, which meets the water balance requirement for one growing season of rice plantsIn order to be optimal in the second growing season, it can be planted with crops that balance the availability and water demand at 10.844 mm/day.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi dan pendampingan kepada UMKM di Pamulang terkait sertifikasi halal sebagai upaya meningkatkan daya saing di pasar global. Sosialisasi dan pendampingan dilakukan kepada 15 UMKM yang didominasi oleh sektor kuliner, mencakup aspek penting seperti urgensi, proses, dan regulasi sertifikasi halal. Kegiatan ini melibatkan Lembaga Pemeriksa Halal (LPH) dan menggunakan pendekatan pre-test serta post-test untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman peserta. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman terkait manfaat dan proses sertifikasi halal, dengan dampak positif terhadap kesadaran dan kesiapan UMKM dalam mengurus sertifikasi. Program ini tidak hanya membantu memenuhi aspek legal, tetapi juga meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen, membuka peluang pasar lebih luas, dan memperkuat daya saing produk di pasar global. Keberhasilan program ini menjadi langkah awal untuk pengembangan kegiatan serupa dan pembentukan komunitas berbasis halal di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Agro Nutrient’s merupakan pupuk organic cair yang berasal dari pembusukan bakteri dan bahanbahan organik seperti memanfaatkan limbah ternak sapi yang diformulasikan dengan serbuk sekam padi serta tambahan mikroorganisme dari Maxdegra dan tambahan Molases. Untuk takaran yang kita lakukan dalam satu drum plastik ukuran 150 liter kita buat dengan takaran kotoran sapi sebanyak 50 kg kemudian 2,5 kg serbuk sekam padi, 250 ml Maxdegra dan 250 ml Molases. Proses pembuatan Pupuk Organik Cair hanya membutuhkan proses fermentasi yang tidak lama sekitar 4 sampai 7 hari. Fermentasi yang dilakukan ini berbeda dengan fermentasi pada umumnya yang memakan waktu berminggu-minggu bahkan berbulan-bulan. Hal ini dikarenakan mikroba yang ditambahkan mudah mengurai dengan bahan-bahan yang lain sehingga tidak perlu waktu lama untuk proses fermentasinya. Mahasiswa KSM Tematik UNISMA 2023 kelompok 42 melakukan sosialisasi secara langsung kepada masyarakat tentang produksi pupuk organik cair dan bagaimana cara pengelolahan dan menggunakan pupuk organik cair tersebut. Kebanyakan masyarakat setempat belum tau tata cara pengelolahan pupuk organik dengan cara menggunakan pupuk kompos yang belum diolah dengan benar sehingga mempengaruhi pertunbuhan dengan adanya kurang bervariasi, langkah mengelola pupuk organik yang paling tepat yaitu diformulasikan dengan serbuk sekam padi serta tambahan aktivitas mikroorganisme. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang didapatkan dilapangan, Masyarakat sangat mengapresiasi dan penggunaan pupuk organik cair ”Agro Nutrient’s” yang kami olah dengan proses mikroorganisme melalui penyuluhan agar Masyarakat dapat mengetahui takaran penggunaan dan mengolah dengan tepat.

Abstract

Lambadeuk Village in Aceh Province is known for Trigona bees, which produce honey and propolis, a valuable by-product often discarded due to limited knowledge and skills for its utilization. This study evaluates the impact of soap-making workshop on community knowledge, behavior, and empowerment, employing Participatory Action Research (PAR). The program engaged 27 participants, primarily housewives and farmers, in theoretical and practical training on soap production using propolis. Pretest and posttest evaluations revealed significant improvements in participants' knowledge of soap-making processes and ingredient roles, with knowledge levels shifting from low to high. However, confidence for independent production remained modest, indicating the need for continued mentorship. By transforming Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). This program demonstrates the potential of targeted empowerment efforts to enhance community skills, reduce waste, and foster sustainable development through innovative resource utilization.
