Abstract

Research aims to analyze the clean water installation system in the Nursing Care Room on Floor III of the Ruteng Regional General Hospital building which is divided into three lines, namely the pump line to the upper reservoir, the reservoir line to distribution pipe A and the reservoir line to distribution pipe B. Installation system plumbing is an installation to meet the water needs of every plumbing equipment installed in a building. The analysis results show that the need for clean water in installation line A is 990 liters, while for installation line B it is 1,410 liters. So the total water requirement per day for the clean water plumbing system installation at Ruteng Regional Hospital is 2,400 liters per day. The pump power requirement is 170.45 Watts with a total head of 26.059 m and a flow rate of 2.41 m3/hour. If the analysis of pump needs is also to serve the clean water needs for the 1st and 2nd floors, assuming the water needs are the same as for the 3rd floor, each at 2.41 m3/hour with a total discharge of 7.23 m3/hour and a total pump head. 39.13 m, and the pump power requirement is 767.87 Watts.

Abstract

This research focuses on the design and construction of a solar-based Emergency Charger Station at Panmuti Beach, Noelbaki Village, to meet the power needs of tourists who experience limited access to electricity. This system is designed with two monocrystalline solar panels with a maximum power of 50 WP connected in parallel, producing a total power of 100 W with a voltage of 17.2 V. The design includes measuring the intensity of solar radiation, calculating the power of the solar panels, the capacity of the Solar Charge Controller (SCC), and battery capacity. The battery with a total capacity of 36 Ah at 12 V allows daily energy storage of 800 Wh at an optimal sunlight intensity of 8 hours per day. Test results show that this system is effective in providing power to tourists' cellphones, although its efficiency is limited due to limited battery capacity. It is recommended to increase battery capacity and consider adding solar panels to increase the efficiency and sustainability of power supply at this tourist location.

Abstract

The demand for wood for construction continues to increase, while the supply of quality wood is decreasing. Therefore, a new alternative is needed to replace wood, one of which is by utilizing palm fruit fiber as a basic material for making composite wood as a new material to replace wood. This study uses an experimental testing method where the composite beams that have been molded by hand lay-up press with polyester resin reinforced with palm fruit fiber that has been treated with 5% alkali for 2 hours, and a fiber volume fraction of 35%. The variations in fiber orientation tested include parallel and perpendicular fibers. The compressive strength test specimens were made according to the ASTM D695-02a standard and tested using a compressive strength testing machine. The test results showed that the composite beam with parallel fibers had the highest average compressive strength and tension, namely 13,851.72 MPa and 42.94 MPa, while the perpendicular fiber orientation produced the lowest value. The highest strain was obtained in the composite with parallel fiber orientation, namely 0.16. While the highest modulus of elasticity was obtained in the composite beam with perpendicular fiber orientation, namely 432.38.

Abstract

Organic fertilizers are fertilizers composed of living matter, such as weathering of animal and human plant residues. Organic fertilizers have more organic matter than nutrient content. Organic fertilizers have the advantage of being environmentally friendly, providing nutrients and macro elements for plants, functioning as soil dividers, improving soil structure, improving soil pore size which in turn makes water holding capacity and soil aeration better. Raw materials that can be used in making organic fertilizers include animal manure, rice husks, soil and charcoal. making organic fertilizer is a very heavy job and requires a long time to produce organic fertilizer until it is ready to use if done manually. This is what encourages research to increase the author's knowledge in the research “DRY ORGANIC PUPUK MIXER MACHINE DESIGN” in order to help make it easier to produce organic fertilizer in the next two decades
