Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of Al-Qur'an memorization aas a means of cleansing the soul (tazkiyah an-nafs) from an Islamic counseling perspective in two Islamic junior high schools in Deli Serdang Regency: Al-Azhar Asy-Syarif Islamic Junior High School and Bintang Islamic Junior High School. Using a qualitative, phenomenological approach, the study involved the principal, the memorization teacher, the guidance counselor, the homeroom teacher, and the students as informants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show: (1) The planning of the tahfidz program in both schools is oriented towards memorization as well as cleansing the students' souls in the context of Islamic counseling; (2) Implementation focuses on the integration of spiritual values ​​through the talaqqi method and independent learning; (3) Evaluation includes cognitive, affective, and spiritual aspects through monthly tasmi', tasmi' akbar, and jilsat itqon; (4) Obstacles include differences in students' cognitive abilities, heterogeneous educational backgrounds, and limited learning time; (5) The program's advantages are seen in the improvement of students' noble morals, discipline, and peace of mind. This research provides theoretical and practical contributions to the development of a holistic and meaningful tahfidz learning model within modern Islamic education. Abstract

This study evaluates the Arabic language development program at SDIT Swasta Dafa Binjai, which is applied as the daily communication language within the school environment. Considering that Arabic plays an important role in Islamic education, its implementation often faces challenges such as lack of consistency, limited vocabulary, and environmental support factors. The study uses the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model to measure the success of the program. The evaluation results provide a comprehensive picture, from the alignment of objectives (context), resource readiness (input), implementation and obstacles (process), to the achievement of students' speaking competencies (product). These findings are expected to serve as a reference for improving the curriculum and teaching strategies for maharah al-kalam in the future.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of the Semester Credit System (SCS) Program at MAN 2 Model Medan using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The study employed an evaluation research design with a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data were collected through questionnaires distributed to teachers and students participating in the SCS Program, while qualitative data were obtained through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research informants consisted of the principal, vice principal for academic affairs, and the SCS program coordinator. The respondents included subject teachers and 15 students enrolled in the SCS Program. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive percentage techniques, whereas qualitative data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the context aspect was categorized as good, with students' understanding of the program reaching 80%. The input aspect demonstrated adequate resource readiness with an average percentage of 84.67%. The process aspect was categorized as very good, with learning implementation reaching 86% and academic guidance and counseling support reaching 88%. The product aspect indicated that the SCS Program provided significant benefits to students, achieving a percentage of 89%. Overall, the Semester Credit System Program at MAN 2 Model Medan achieved an average score of 85.00%, categorized as good. Based on the CIPP evaluation results, the program is considered feasible to continue with several improvements related to program socialization, academic mentoring, administrative systems, and teacher competency development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kognitif soal Asesmen Akidah Akhlak Madrasah Aliyah berdasarkan Taksonomi Bloom Revisi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif analisis melalui teknik analisis isi (content analysis). Objek penelitian berupa 30 butir soal pilihan ganda Asesmen Madrasah Akidah Akhlak Tahun 2025. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi dokumentasi dan dianalisis berdasarkan klasifikasi ranah kognitif Taksonomi Bloom Revisi, yaitu C1 (mengingat), C2 (memahami), C3 (menerapkan), C4 (menganalisis), C5 (mengevaluasi), dan C6 (mencipta). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa soal kategori Lower Order Thinking Skills (LOTS) mendominasi dengan persentase 43,33%, terdiri atas C1 sebanyak 10% dan C2 sebanyak 33,33%. Kategori Middle Order Thinking Skills (MOTS) pada tingkat C3 mencapai 40%, sedangkan kategori Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) hanya sebesar 16,67%yang seluruhnya berada pada tingkat C4. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa tidak terdapat soal pada tingkat C5 dan C6. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa asesmen Akidah Akhlak masih lebih berorientasi pada kemampuan memahami dan menerapkan materi dibandingkan kemampuan evaluasi dan kreasi. Oleh karena itu, guru perlu mengembangkan instrumen asesmen berbasis HOTS yang lebih variatif agar mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, reflektif, dan kreatif peserta didik sesuai tuntutan pembelajaran abad ke-21.
