Abstract

Cyberbullying is aggressive behavior through electronic media that has a serious psychological impact on victims, especially artists who are often the target of negative comments that can influence the behavior of other users on social media. This action is not only psychologically and mentally damaging, but is also a cyber crime that needs to be followed up. This research aims to identify and predict negative comments that lead to cyberbullying through text mining with classification and sentiment analysis methods. This study compares two classification methods: Naive Bayes and Decision Tree, to determine which method is more accurate. Data was taken from 1680 comments on Indonesian artists' Instagram accounts, from September 2023 to May 2024, and divided into 80% for training and 20% for testing, so that the results obtained were Naive Bayes showing 80.95% accuracy, 80.95% precision, recall 87.46%, and F1 score 84.02%, while Decision Tree shows accuracy 82.44%, precision 81.68%, recall 82.44%, and F1 score 81.86%. The findings show that Decision Tree has higher accuracy in classifying cyberbullying comments than Naive Bayes.

Abstract

Agriculture is a major sector of livelihood for Indonesians, but often faces challenges such as climate change, resource management, and poor harvesting. One is that spinach cultivation is often controlled by environmental conditions such as high heat temperatures and excessive rainfall, which can lead to a decrease in spinach quality to failure to harvest which can be detrimental to farmers and affect the sale price of spinach. The Internet of Things (IoT) technology is a solution to improve agricultural efficiency by monitoring environmental conditions such as soil humidity, temperature and water requirements in real time. The research aims to implement the fuzzy logic used to address the complexity of data obtained from IoT sensors. An automatic control system uses a servo motor based on sensors of soil humidity, air temperature, and rain. The system applies Tsukamoto's fuzzy logic method to the Arduino Uno R3 device that consists of phases of fuzzification, rule formation, inference process, and deffuzification. The monitoring of spinach cultivation using the IoT system was conducted for 7 days under controlled conditions inside the pot. The results of the study showed fuzzy motion based on the input according to the conditions of the spinach growing environment, shown on observation day 5, no rain conditions, heat temperature 330 Celsius and soil humidity 69%, moving servo 79.20 covering the area of the pot, according to defuzification values. With this result, Tsukamoto's fuzzy method can be applied to IoT systems in agriculture, in particular to control the movement of servo motors to protect spinach crops according to climate-affected environmental conditions.

Abstract

Software development requires substantial financial resources. This study aims to examine the cost estimation for software development. The complexity of the software, its intangibility as a non-physical product, the technology utilized, and human resources can all influence the determination of software development costs. The method used for cost estimation is Function Point Analysis with a case study approach. The researchers conducted a case study on the software development for an employee savings and loan cooperative at XYZ Company. The result of this study is a cost recommendation that can serve as a reference for selecting software development vendors by the cooperative's management.

Abstract

Examinations in the school are still carried out conventionally, in a written method using a computer answer sheet. The development of a Computer Assisted Test (CAT) application website to replace the current exam implementation process is a problem for users who are not proficient in using computers. Users must understand new features and go through a long process of exam preparation stages. This research aims to design user experience, for the appearance of the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) application website, using the five planes framework. This method has elements that are done in stages from the lowest level to the top, starting from the strategy plane, scope plane, structure plane, skeleton plane, and surface plane. The result of this research is a user interface design prototype to be implemented on the CAT application website at a later time. The selection of the Five Planes framework with systematic stages is appropriate for designing user experience, starting from identifying the analysis of stakeholders business needs and objectives, directing the planning of a structured system function flow to create a website menu, to designing interfaces with attention to usability and aesthetics that are guided by design guidelines in selecting and displaying each visual element.

Abstract

 This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of two Agile methodologies—Scrum and Extreme Programming (XP)—in the development of a mobile application for online examinations. In the context of rapidly changing requirements and the need for flexibility, Agile-based software development approaches are highly relevant, particularly for small to medium-scale projects. This research adopts a qualitative case study approach, supported by quantitative analysis using Function Point (FP) to provide an objective comparison of productivity between the two methods.The results show that XP produced 85 Function Points in 120 working hours, achieving a productivity rate of 0.708 FP per hour. In comparison, Scrum produced 75 Function Points in 110 working hours, with a productivity rate of 0.682 FP per hour. Although the difference is relatively small, the data suggests that XP is slightly more efficient in delivering system functionalities within a given time frame. Qualitative findings from interviews and observations also indicate that XP is more adaptive to changes and promotes stronger technical collaboration among team members, particularly through practices like pair programming and continuous refactoring. On the other hand, Scrum offers a more structured workflow through sprint planning and backlog grooming, which supports better task management and documentation.Based on these findings, it can be concluded that XP is more effective in project environments that require rapid iteration and high flexibility, while Scrum remains advantageous for structured project planning. The selection of methodology should be aligned with the project's characteristics, team dynamics, and development goals.

Abstract

Air pollution is the contamination of indoor or outdoor environments with chemical, physical, or biological substances that change the natural properties of the atmosphere. Domestic incinerators, cars, motorbikes, combustion products from factory processing, waste burning, and forest fires are common sources of air pollution. In Indonesia, there is no doubt that air pollution occurs because of the many forest fires in Indonesia. As a result of this case, many people's opinions differ. Various sentiments occur in cyberspace, one of which is Twitter. Twitter is the social media that accommodates the most various kinds of positive, negative and neutral opinions. Therefore, researchers want to solve the problem by implementing the SVM and Random Forest algorithms. The dataset was obtained from scrapping results using tweet harvest. The data obtained was 5545 tweets. By dividing the dataset model by 80% and 20%, the results showed that the accuracy of the SVM algorithm was better than the Random Forest algorithm. The accuracy of the SVM algorithm is 83% while the Random Forest algorithm is 81%.

Abstract

Persaingan yang semakin ketat dalam dunia perdagangan modern menuntut perusahaan untuk menerapkan strategi retensi pelanggan yang proaktif, menjadikan prediksi customer churn (pelanggan yang berhenti menggunakan layanan) sebagai fokus utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi model klasifikasi yang memanfaatkan data pelanggan historis guna mengidentifikasi secara dini pelanggan yang berpotensi churn atau tetap loyal. Metode yang digunakan adalah Data Mining, khususnya teknik Klasifikasi, dengan memilih algoritma Decision Tree C4.5 karena keunggulannya dalam menghasilkan aturan keputusan yang transparan dan mudah diinterpretasikan. Dataset yang dianalisis melibatkan 996 sampel pelanggan, mencakup berbagai atribut penting seperti jenis kelamin, usia, metode pembayaran, dan riwayat transaksi. Klasifikasi dilakukan untuk memprediksi status pelanggan ke dalam salah satu dari dua kategori target: loyal atau churn. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa model yang dibangun mampu mengklasifikasikan 636 pelanggan (sekitar 63.8%) sebagai kategori loyal dan 360 pelanggan (sekitar 36.2%) sebagai kategori churn, dengan mencapai tingkat akurasi model sebesar 98%. Temuan ini menunjukkan efektivitas Decision Tree C4.5 dalam memetakan pola loyalitas pelanggan. Secara praktis, model ini berkontribusi dalam menyediakan wawasan yang terukur bagi perusahaan untuk merumuskan inisiatif pemasaran dan retensi yang lebih tepat sasaran.

Abstract

Orang tua murid yang tidak memahami dengan baik pola pengasuhan anak khususnya di tengah pandemi Covid-19 akan mengalami kesulitan dalam mendampingi anak dalam penggunaan teknologi internet dan penggunaan gadget. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dimulai dengan persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan laporan. Pada tahap persiapan tim dosen melakukan identifikasi kebutuhan mitra dan penetapan materi penyuluhan. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, tim memberikan penyuluhan kepada orang tua murid, penyampaian materi dilakukan secara luring dan daring. Dalam kegiatan ini tim dosen Program Studi Informatika memberikan edukasi dan penyuluhan kepada orang tua bagaimana anak dapat nyaman dan aman menggunakan Internet. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada orang tua murid di Raudhatul Athfal Pena Audi yang di hadiri oleh 34 orang tua murid. Pada tahap evaluasi dan laporan tim meminta masukan dari peserta melalui kuesioner dan membuat laporan kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pemahaman pengasuhan anak dalam hal pemanfaatan teknologi internet yang ditunjukan dari hasil kuesioner rata-rata nilai 3,5 untuk tiap indikator pertanyaan menjawab setuju. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berjalan dengan baik, materi disampaikan secara luring dan daring.
