Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of Green Intellectual Capital (GIC), Green Human Resource Management Practices (GHRMP), Green Entrepreneurial Orientation (GEO), dan Absorptive Capacity (AC) on Green Innovation (GI) among employees of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the food sector in the Jakarta area. Although MSMEs play a crucial role in the Indonesian economy, most entrepreneurs are not yet familiar with environmentally friendly practices. This situation shows that the push towards green innovation is very important for MSMEs to survive, grow, and compete in the market. This study applied a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected from 160 respondents through a questionnaire using a Likert scale, then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings revealed that GIC, GHRMP, GEO, and AC had a positive influence on green innovation. Knowledge and organizational capabilities related to the environment, human resource policies that support sustainability, an entrepreneurial orientation that actively addresses environmental issues, and the ability to absorb information from outside sources can all help MSMEs produce more environmentally friendly products and processes. Keywords: Green Intellectual Capital, Green Human Resource Management Practices, Green Entrepreneurial Orientation, Absorptive Capacity, Green Innovation, UMKM.
