Abstract

Marketing strategy transformation plays a vital role for business actors, especially those affiliated with State-Owned Enterprises in North Aceh and Lhokseumawe City, in their efforts to increase the competitiveness of domestic products in the global market. This research is classified as field research adopting a descriptive qualitative approach. Research data was obtained through observation, interviews, focus group discussions, and documentation. Qualitative data analysis was conducted continuously until the collected data reached saturation point. The steps in data analysis began with data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and data verification. The findings of the study indicate that marketing strategy transformation is very important for business actors at State-Owned Enterprises in North Aceh and Lhokseumawe City to increase the competitiveness of domestic products in the global market. Despite producing high-quality products, business actors face challenges such as weak branding, limited distribution, intense competition, and a lack of understanding of the global market. Limited capital and infrastructure also pose obstacles. To compete, business actors need to adopt marketing strategies based on in-depth market research, improve product quality, and enhance their understanding of global market dynamics.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology and the increasing use of musical works for commercial purposes further underscore the urgency of regulating copyright and royalty systems in Indonesia. This study aims to examine the protection of music copyright based on the Indonesian Ulama Council Fatwa No. 1 of 2003 and its relationship with positive law, specifically Law No. 28 of 2014 and Minister of Law Regulation No. 27 of 2025. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method with a normative approach, supported by case studies and literature reviews to understand implementation in practice. The findings indicate that, from the Indonesian Ulama Council perspective, copyright falls under the category of huquq maliyyah (property rights), which possess economic value and must be protected. Therefore, infringements particularly those of a commercial nature without authorization e viewed as contrary to the principle of justice in Islam. Meanwhile, in positive law, copyright protection is strengthened through the role of institutions such as the National Collective Management Organization in managing and distributing royalties more systematically. Practically, this study underscores the importance of harmonizing Sharia principles with national regulations through increased transparency in royalty distribution, optimization of the performance of relevant institutions, and strengthening legal awareness among music industry stakeholders to create a fair and sustainable system in the digital age.

Abstract

Digital The rapid digitalization of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) has increased exposure to cyber threats, while limited cybersecurity literacy remains a major challenge for business sustainability. This community service program developed and evaluated a contextual cybersecurity mentoring model designed to strengthen digital security awareness and practices among MSME owners in Lhokseumawe, Indonesia. Using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the program integrated needs assessment, cybersecurity education, hands-on training, and continuous mentoring tailored to the actual cyber risks faced by MSMEs. Sixty MSME operators under the Rumah BUMN Lhokseumawe participated in the program. Effectiveness was assessed using pre- and post-test instruments and analyzed through paired-sample t-tests and normalized gain (N-Gain). The results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants’ cybersecurity literacy, with mean scores increasing from 41.45 before the intervention to 93.25 afterward (p < 0.001). The N-Gain score of 0.876 indicated a high level of learning effectiveness. Participants also showed substantial improvements in cybersecurity knowledge, digital security practices, and risk awareness, enhancing their capacity to prevent cyber threats and strengthen business resilience. The findings demonstrate that an adaptive, participatory, and locally contextualized mentoring model is an effective strategy for improving cybersecurity literacy among MSMEs. This model provides a scalable framework for supporting secure digital transformation and can be replicated in MSME empowerment initiatives across other regions.
