Abstract

Teachers as facilitator need to find creative teaching media for English writing skills. Students tend to have difficulty to write in English language, especially for hotel and cruise ship students. One of the reasons is students didn’t have any view and interest to build idea and didn’t have enough English vocabulary. Therefore, researchers try to present and explain that Google Review can be a digital teaching media to help educators teaching students in English writing skill about descriptive text. This study explains about feature introduction, application procedure, and teaching strategy. This study used descriptive qualitative method. To collect the data, this study used observation, interview, and literature review. In conclusion, Google Review is flexible and interesting teaching media that allow students to write and describe tourist place based on their own feeling, taste, thought, and experience.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran interaktif mata pelajaran Matematika dengan menggunakan Adobe Flash CS 6 ini berisi materi tentang bangun-bangun yang termasuk dalam kesebangunan dan kongruen. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah menciptakan sebuah aplikasi media pembelajaran interaktif mata pelajaran Matematika materi kesebangunan dan kongruen dengan menggunakan Adobe Flash CS6 di SMP Negeri 24 Surakarta. Materi kesebangunan dan kongruen merupakan materi pelajaran yang membutuhkan banyak contoh dan pratikum dalam proses belajar, jika hanya menggunakan buku yang bersifat monoton, membuat siswa sulit untuk membayangkan apa yang dimaksud soal dan latihan. Hasil berupa aplikasi media pembelajaran interaktif mata pelajaran Matematika materi kesebangunan dan kongruen dengan menggunakan Adobe Flash CS6 yang disertai dengan latihan soal yang dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu pengajar dalam pembelajaran ataupun digunakan secara mandiri oleh pengguna.

Abstract

YouTube telah menjadi platform utama untuk konsumsi konten video, dengan tren video yang terus berkembang sesuai perubahan minat audiens. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelompokkan film trending di YouTube berdasarkan judul dan popularitasnya menggunakan pendekatan TF-IDF dan K-Means Clustering. TF-IDF digunakan untuk mengekstraksi fitur dari judul video, mengidentifikasi kata-kata kunci penting yang mencirikan tema setiap film. Algoritma K-Means kemudian digunakan untuk mengelompokkan video ke dalam beberapa cluster berdasarkan kemiripan fitur TF-IDF dan jumlah views. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video dapat dikelompokkan ke dalam tiga cluster dengan karakteristik unik. Cluster pertama berisi video dengan tema komedi, aktor populer, dan jumlah views tinggi. Cluster kedua mencakup video dari berbagai genre dengan jumlah views yang bervariasi. Cluster ketiga terdiri dari video yang lebih spesifik dengan popularitas tinggi. Evaluasi menggunakan Silhouette Score menunjukkan bahwa kualitas clustering masih dapat ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi kreator konten dan pemasar digital untuk menyusun strategi konten yang lebih menarik dan relevan, serta memberikan kontribusi akademis dalam analisis data berbasis teks.

Abstract

The internet provides convenience in various aspects of human life. Internet penetration in Indonesia has grown by 66.5% of the total population of 278.7 million people. This shows that 185.3 million people are active internet users. Based on the report of the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo), it has handled negative content since 2016 to 2023 with a total of 1.9 million contents. With the most access through website media. MikroTikRouter Os as a tool used to support computer network communication, is expected to minimize access to this negative content. Configuration in MikroTik devices with Layer7 Protocol and Firewall Rules is used to prevent access to negative content from the client side. A firewall is a network security tool that monitors incoming and outgoing network traffic. The application layer that acts as a liaison between applications and network functions, manages how applications access the network, and regulates the creation of error messages is called Layer 7 Protocol. The Layer 7 Protocol configuration and firewall rules are effectively applied to Mikro Tik RB941-2ND to ward off negative pornographic content on local networks with a percentage of 87% of the 91 websites that have been tested. In particular, the test results show that this method is an effective scheme using unwanted travel with global internet usage and without using a Virtual Private Network (VPN). By using this filtering and switching technique, negative site access restrictions can be minimized. At least it can be a pioneer of a healthy internet.

Abstract

Estimating sales quantity is an activity to estimate the amount of product sales by producers or distributors in a certain period of time and marketing area. Prediction of sales quantity is part of the management function as one of the contributors to the success of a company. Prediction of the quantity of product sales in the future is intended to control the number of existing product stocks, so that shortages or excess stock of products can be minimized. CV Kabul Jaya in managing stock of goods has problems, the problem is that the estimated shopping or stock of goods in the next period or the period of the following month does not match the reality or the actual demand for goods. This problem disrupts the company's financial cycle and can even suffer losses. The Single Exponential Smoothing method is a method used to estimate the number of goods in the future. This method is often used and has been proven to be able to estimate the amount of inventory in the future. In this study, the author makes a stock forecast information system at CV.Kabul Jaya using this method. The results of this study on one type of item using this method produce an estimate of goods in the period of the twelfth month at the smallest Mean Squared Error (MSE) value, namely at α 0.5 with an MSE value of 18.82 the resulting estimate for the item 58. This system has been created and has been tested for its validity and the result is that this system is suitable for use in estimating stock items.

Abstract

The development of information in Kindergarten RA Hidayatullah to be known to the public, it is necessary to make a profile video in the form of audio visual as a means of promotion so that the community will be able to easily receive information from Kindergarten RA Hidayatullah. It is hoped that after the profile video is made, it can give a positive story and as a means of promoting RA Hidayatullah Kindergarten which is easily accepted by the wider community. The data collection methods carried out include observation, interviews, and literature studies. By means of direct observation or survey at RA Hidayatullah Kindergarten, complete and accurate data will be obtained. In addition, the observation method has the advantage of being able to know clearly about the environmental conditions of RA Hidayatullah Kindergarten. This interview method is a data collection method carried out by providing questions in accordance with the video that will be done to the teacher who is responsible for delivering information about RA Hidayatullah Kindergarten. The purpose of the interview is to obtain the right information from trusted sources, then collect data by asking questions related to the theme of the thematic practice work being carried out. Literature study, collection and information as well as knowledge obtained from books about the theory concerned. The creation of this profile video is expected to make it easier to promote RA Hidayatullah Kindergarten and can be known by the wider community.

Abstract

The rice yields have fluctuated in Wonogiri Regency. This occasion happened in 2016-2018. Therefore, a prediction is needed to know whether rice yields will increase or decrease in the following year. The purpose of this study was to apply the polynomial non-linear regression method of third-degree in predicting rice yields. This study utilized the Unified Modeling Language (UML) as the system design, black-box testing as the functional testing, and MSE testing as the validity testing. The computed data was data of 2016-2018. The results showed that the prediction of 2017-2019 using the harvested area model produced more accurate calculations. The harvested area model produced the same MSE value in manual and application calculations, which were 405433,1349 in 2017, 312677,7798 in 2018, and 171183.6347 in 2019. The polynomial non-linear cubic regression is a solution to predict rice yields. The output of the application is the prediction information for rice yields

Abstract

Potensi sumber daya teknologi kian hari kian memberikan manfaat lebih bagi pengguna. Salah satunya teknologi website. Keberadaan website sangat penting untuk menunjang tersampaikannya maksud dan tujuan lewat media informasi yang dapat diakses oleh masyarakat luas. Selain itu website juga dapat digunakan untuk media promosi suatu produk tertentu. Sekolah Dasar IT Al-Hikam merupakan salah satu sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Banyudono Kabupaten Boyolali yang belum memiliki media website. Media website ini dirasa penting untuk penyampaian informasi kegiatan sekolah pada masyarakat. Dan yang paling utama adalah sebagai media pengenalan sekolah atau promosi ke masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan untuk perancangan dan pembuatan website adalah pengumpulan data, perancangan konsep, pembuatan website, implementasi, serta evaluasi. Diperoleh hasil berupa website sekolah yang dapat diakses oleh masyarakat di alamat  https://sditalhikam.wordpress.com. Website menampilkan informasi profil sekolah, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sekolah, informasi penerimaan siswa baru, galeri kegiatan dan kontak sekolah. Dari hasil penilaian yang dilakukan oleh 39 responden dari guru dan karyawan, orang tua/wali serta masyarakat, diperoleh hasil rata-rata responden memberikan nilai Baik sebesar 50,6%, memberikan nilai Sangat Baik sebesar 32%, dan sisanya menilai Cukup untuk seluruh aspek penilaian.

Abstract

D'Paragon Kost is an exclusive boarding house based in Yogyakarta and has approximately 38 branches. Spread throughout Indonesia and in each branch there are employees who serve as Housekeeping and Cleaning Services. At each Housekeeping and Cleaning Service, facilities are provided in the form of a Smartphone device which is useful for reporting scheduled activities. Using a smartphone that is not intended can cause problems with the smartphone. After the IT team investigated the branch location, there were applications that were outside the company's operational standards. So precautions are taken so that smartphone facilities cannot be used to access applications outside of standard procedures. There are several types of applications that can control smartphone devices. One of these applications is Google Family Link. The aim is to remotely control the Housekeeping and Cleaning Service smartphone and limit the performance of the smartphone itself. As a data collection sample, the author used 5 (five) days of data from 4 (four) Housekeeping and 1 (one) Cleaning Service with different assignment locations and jobs. The data used is daily application usage data in minutes and standard application data from D'Paragon Kost. From the analysis of application usage behavior in each branch, the number of working hours does not affect the lack of access to certain applications. If this behavior is outside the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), it can reduce employee performance. This is shown by the existence of the Cleaning Service branch which has been using the YouTube application for longer than other branches. So monitoring each branch in the use of smartphones with Google Family is very effective in knowing employee behavior at work. The company can also provide recommendations regarding the use and access of smartphones according to their intended use.

Abstract

Y2K Batik is an SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) engaged in batik. Y2K Batik produces and sells beach wear with various motifs. One of the important things in business is inventory of merchandise, inventory of merchandise is a factor in determining the success of a trading company to achieve its goals, because the goods sold affect the level of income to increase company profits. With these considerations, it is necessary to analyze the production of beach wear for the availability of merchandise in fulfilling customer orders. Based on the above background, the scope of the problem in this study is master data collection obtained from records of selling beach batik cloth periodically from time to time. By utilizing the existing data and applying certain methods, a sales forecasting prediction can be made using the Double exponential Smoothing method. From the results of calculations and testing of forecasting data on the Mandala Motif Beach Fabric variable with the most optimal value using = 0.9 of 2127 with an error value of 19.46% and an accuracy rate of 80.54% (Good). The Canting Motif Beach Wear variable with the most optimal value using = 0.9 of 3174 with an error value of 3.61% and an accuracy rate of 96.39% (Very Good). Double Exponential Smoothing is the most widely used method to determine the trend equation of the second smoothing data through a smoothing process. The programming language uses Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 and the DBMS uses Microsoft SQL Server 2012.
