Abstract

Luas hutan mangrove telah berkurang sebesar 40% dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir di Indonesia. Hal ini dikarenakan penggunaan lahan hutan untuk pembangunan pabrik, pelabuhan, dan pemukiman warga. Penggunaan hutan mangrove secara berlebihan juga mengakibatkan berkurangnya luasan hutan mangrove. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penanaman bibit mangrove secara serentak dan bersinergi antara institusi pendidikan seperti perguruan tinggi, sekolah, TNI AL, dan masyarakat pesisir. Kegiatan penanaman mangrove dilakukan di dua lokasi, yaitu Gunung Anyar dan TPI Kaliromo. Penanaman di Gunung Anyar dilakukan pada tanggal 20 September 2021 dan 27 Juli 2022. Sedangkan penanaman di TPI Kaliromo dilakukan pada tanggal 19 dan 26 Juli 2022. Kegiatan ini sebagai momentum untuk meningkatkan kesadaran bahwa hutan mangrove harus tetap dilestarikan karena bermanfaat untuk menjaga ekosistem pesisir, mengurangi abrasi pantai, dan melindungi pantai dari gelombang laut atau tsunami.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The increasing need for fuel consumption is not in line with the diminishing availability of fossil fuels. At every rice mill, there will always be a pile, even mountains of husks, which are getting higher and higher. This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the management of rice husk waste into briquettes, which can be a solution that can convert agricultural waste into fuel with a fairly good conversion efficiency. The method used in this research is the carbonization method. The carbonization or charcoal process is the process of converting raw materials into black carbon by burning in a closed space with limited or minimal air. In the testing process, the researcher used 2 factors to determine the results of the two samples, namely the physical factor, namely the factor used to test the physical sample and the combustion effectiveness factor, namely the factor used to determine how long it took to burn the sample.

Abstract

CV. Hikmah Jaya Konveksi is a company operating in the convection sector that serves companies, offices, campuses and schools, both private and government. CV. Hikmah Jaya Konveksi as a company operating in the convection sector was founded on January 26 2011. CV. Hikmah Jaya Konveksi is at the address Griya Kebraon Utara VIII No. 27 Surabaya. The aim of this research is to identify types of product defects, find out the sigma level value for defective products produced and analyze the causes of product defects to provide recommendations for existing problems in the company so that it can reduce the level of defects in products. The method used for this research is Six Sigma with the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) stages by calculating the company's sigma value and Failure Mode And Effect Analysis (FMEA) for recommendations for improvements to the problem. Based on the results of data processing and data analysis, 3 defects were obtained in the product, including skipped seams, wrinkled seams and slanted seams with an average sigma value of 4.08. Based on the FMEA analysis, the proposed improvements given to minimize defective products are providing training related to sewing SOPs and conducting evaluations. Leaders and Supervisors are responsible for defective products in their respective areas, conducting briefings for each line before production to clarify duties and responsibilities. respectively, providing lubricating oil to machine parts that have the potential to cause friction which causes noise, carried out periodically every 3 weeks, increasing supervision of all workers so that workers can focus when producing uniforms, checking machine maintenance, making maintenance scheduling regularly periodically every month 3 times.

Abstract

The demand for broiler chicken meat has increased over the past few decades due to changes in consumption patterns. This condition has led to information distortion and a significant rise in broiler chicken meat demand. CV HMS, as a distributor, faces fluctuating customer demand, which results in a bullwhip effect, making it difficult for the company to control raw material inventory. To address this phenomenon, raw material inventory control is required using forecasting techniques to estimate future demand and avoid delays in customer deliveries. The objective of this study is to identify the most appropriate forecasting method and determine the bullwhip effect values before and after applying the selected forecasting method. This enables the company to avoid stock shortages or surpluses of broiler chickens, ultimately supporting supply chain efficiency. The analysis results indicate that the most suitable forecasting method is single exponential smoothing with an α value of 0.9, which shows a reduction in the bullwhip effect value from 1.05 to 0.99. By employing accurate forecasting techniques and effectively measuring the bullwhip effect, the company can develop strategies for raw material inventory control.

Abstract

Dalam dunia industri manufaktur, pengelolaan biaya yang efisien merupakan kunci daya saing berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menganalisis penerapan metode Activity-Based Costing (ABC) dalam menentukan standar biaya overhead pabrik (BOP) pada PT. ARI, perusahaan berbasis make-to-order. Penelitian dilakukan dengan membandingkan metode tradisional dan metode ABC melalui analisis proyek Tix-Langkat yang terdiri dari lima sub-proyek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode ABC memberikan hasil yang lebih akurat dengan alokasi biaya berdasarkan aktivitas spesifik, dibandingkan metode tradisional yang bersifat general. Penggunaan metode ABC menghasilkan persentase nilai BOP sebesar 27,2%, lebih kecil dibandingkan standar perusahaan 30%, dengan penghematan sebesar Rp12.164.799 pada total biaya HPP proyek Tix-Langkat. Kesimpulannya, metode ABC dapat mengurangi distorsi alokasi biaya, meningkatkan akurasi perhitungan HPP, dan memberikan keunggulan kompetitif melalui efisiensi biaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis efisiensi biaya perencanaan bahan baku di PT XYZ dengan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan manajemen persediaan dengan meminimalkan biaya pemesanan dan penyimpanan serta memastikan ketersediaan stok yang cukup. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara dengan supervisor inventaris. Metode EOQ membantu menentukan jumlah pesanan optimal sehingga dapat mengurangi total biaya persediaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan EOQ memungkinkan PT XYZ menghemat Rp 5.877.000 untuk suku cadang Carbonvannes dan Rp 17.124.600 untuk suku cadang Filter Cartridge per tahun. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa metode EOQ efektif dalam meningkatkan perencanaan inventaris dan efisiensi biaya di PT XYZ.

Abstract

The increasing competition of companies requires a company to optimize all existing human resources (HR) to minimize risks that can hinder production process activities, PT. Four Putera Utama Bersama is a company engaged in the production of train passenger seats. There are several activities, namely preparation, production, assembly and finishing. The purpose of this study is to find out the type of hazard, and risk assessment with the HIRIARC method, while the FTA method is used to find the root cause of the problem. The results of the analysis will be used to mitigate any risk activities that occur in the production process of train passenger seats. The results of the study showed that there were 4 work activities and 11 work sub-activities that had potential dangers in activities. Risk assessment was obtained 3 activities with potential hazards in the extreme category, 2 activities with potential hazards in the high category, 2 activities with potential hazards in the moderate category  and 4 activities with potential hazards in the lowcategory, risk control was carried out on potential hazards that had extreme categoriesnamely pinched by the bench, hands hit by cutters and hands scratched by the bench frame that is still sharp.

Abstract

The achievement of spare parts readiness has decreased in the VUCA Supply Chain era of PT Pamapersada Nusantara. Spare parts readiness is an important factor for the Supply Chain department at PT Pamapersada Nusantara because it is the key to the continuity of a maintenance activity so that mining activities run smoothly, so the purpose of this study is to be able to provide spare parts in the VUCA Supply Chain era through Claim Warranty using the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) method. The results and discussion were obtained six root causes of the problem, then PDCA and Min-Max analysis was carried out as a method of controlling the readiness level. The stock level condition is applied with a Min of 3 and a Max of 5 to maintain a readiness level that is always available.
