Abstract

Abstract

The objective of this study is to describe the abundance of gastropods in the marine waters of Bonebula Beach, Banawa Tengah Subdistrict, and to utilise the findings as a learning resource in the form of electronic pocket books. The research methodology employed is descriptive quantitative research, with the location determined through purposive sampling, resulting in the designation of three observation stations. Station 1 is situated within the seagrass ecosystem, Station 2 within the mangrove ecosystem, and Station 3 within the coral ecosystem. The sampling was conducted using a free collection method. The findings revealed the presence of 19 species of gastropods belonging to 13 families and six orders. The abundance of gastropods on Bonebula Beach is classified as moderate, representing 18.33% of the total population. The percentage of content experts, design experts and media experts is 85%, 85.33% and 84.29%, respectively, with an average feasibility rating of 84.87%. This indicates that the electronic pocket book medium is highly feasible for use.

Abstract

This study investigates, through practical measures, how the implementation of an unattended parking system at Semen Gresik Hospital has been able to boost the operational efficiency of the parking area. The system utilises automatic sensors, a mobile application, and a digital payment mechanism to address the acute problem of vehicle congestion in the hospital grounds. Data collection employed a qualitative approach and case study methodology; six informants from diverse fields were interviewed in depth to capture varied perspectives. Field findings revealed that parking search times decreased significantly and payment processes became faster, although sporadic sensor malfunctions and initial user anxiety regarding touchscreens remained as challenges. Physical queues have also decreased, and parking space utilisation has become more efficient; however, infrastructure improvements and additional public awareness campaigns remain essential. The study highlights the potential of digital technology in the healthcare sector and underscores the importance of regular technical maintenance and ongoing user education. Researchers recommend conducting similar experiments in other locations, with a greater focus on sustainability and how users can adapt to evolving technology.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine how employee performance at J&T Express Tambaksari District is influenced by training and human resource (HR) development. The quality of human resources (HR) has emerged as an important component in achieving organizational goals in the era of globalization and increasing corporate competition. The population of this study, which uses a quantitative approach, consists of 42 employees of J&T Express. Saturated sampling is the sampling method used. An online survey was used to collect data, and multiple linear regression was used for analysis. The study's findings indicate that although human resource development significantly improves employee performance, training does not have a recognizable effect on it. Moreover, employee performance has a positive impact when training and human resource development are conducted simultaneously. These findings are expected to provide insights for J&T Express management in designing more effective training and development programs to improve employee performance and the company's competitiveness.
