Method: The type of research used is analytic with a cross section approach, the sample test used is saturated sampling, with the sample used is 30 breastfeeding mothers. The status test uses the Square test (Chi Square). Results: This research was conducted on 30 respondents with good knowledge of postpartum mothers about the success of breastfeeding, namely 25 people (83.3%), exclusive breastfeeding, namely 23 people (76.7%), value of 0.006 < 0 ,05. Conclusion: A good level of knowledge of postpartum mothers in taking classes for pregnant women on a regular basis will provide the success of breastfeeding mothers in providing exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Background: Mother's milk (ASI) is the only source of natural nutrients produced by humans, breast milk contains a good nutritional composition and contains non-nutritive bioactive components that function for development. Breast milk can save the lives of more than 820,000 children under 5 years of age each year, the majority 87%, especially babies under 6 months of age. Objective: to determine the effectiveness of oxytocin massage and efflurage massage on the milk volume of primiparous postpartum mothers. This research method uses a quasi-experimental type, a research design with two groups (Oxytocin massage group and Effleurage Massage group) pre-test post-test design, to determine the effect of oxytocin massage and Effleurage massage on increasing the volume of breast milk in primiparous postpartum mothers. Sampling with non-probability sampling technique obtained a total sample of 34 respondents. Methods of data analysis using non-parametric static analysis techniques Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney with α 0.05. Results: From the results of the study on 17 respondents, the results showed that there were differences in the pretest and posttest in the oxytocin massage and efflurage massage groups, namely an increase in milk production after treatment, namely there was a difference in the mean pretest and mean posttest with the result P = 0.001 < α 0.05.   Conclusion: From the results of the study on 34 respondents there was an effect of Oxytocin massage and Effleurage massage on increasing milk production in postpartum mothers

Treatment given to increase breast milk production is giving ginger drink which contains galactogue which can increase breast milk production. Objective ; To analyze the effect of giving ginger drink on breast milk production in postpartum mothers.Methodology ; This research is a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental design with a one group pretest posttest design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a sample of 22 respondents. Results ; Based on SPSS using the paired sample t-Test with a p-value of 0.000. If α <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence of giving ginger drink on breast milk production in postpartum mothers in Ngembak Village. Conclusion ; Based on this research, there is an effect of giving ginger drink on breast milk production in postpartum mothers in Ngembak Village

Abstract

Background: The postpartum period is the phase following childbirth that lasts for approximately six weeks and coincides with the period of exclusive breastfeeding. The World Health Organization recommends that newborns receive exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life without any additional food or drink, as breast milk is the most natural and optimal source of nutrition for infants. Breastfeeding has also been proven to reduce the risk of breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and diabetes in mothers. According to the Grobogan Regency Health Profile in 2024, the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding reached 81.59%. Although exclusive breastfeeding coverage has met the national target in Indonesia, not all postpartum mothers practice exclusive breastfeeding due to various factors. Knowledge is one of the factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding, and educational interventions can improve postpartum mothers’ knowledge through various methods. This study provides education to postpartum mothers about exclusive breastfeeding using video-based media. Purpose ; To analyze the effect of giving video education on postpartum mothers. Methodology ; This research is a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental design with a one group pretest posttest design. The sampling he population consisted of 33 postpartum mothers, all of whom were included as samples using total sampling. Results ; showed that before the intervention, the mean knowledge score was 32.03 with a median of 33, and most respondents had a moderate level of knowledge (54.5%). After receiving video-based education, the mean knowledge score increased to 36.24 with a median of 37, and the majority of respondents demonstrated good knowledge (75.8%). The Wilcoxon test indicated a significant effect of video-based education on postpartum mothers’ knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding (p-value = 0.000). Conclusion ; Based on this research, there is an effect of giving ginger drink on breast milk production in postpartum mothers in Ngembak Village. Based on this research, there is an effect of giving ginger drink on breast milk production in postpartum mothers in Ngembak Village.
