Abstract

Currently, providing halal certification for a product has become a necessity. Consumers are now more careful when choosing halal-certified products before consuming them. In Jumputrejo Village, Sukodono District, Sidoarjo Regency, there are a number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that have not obtained halal certification. Therefore, the KKN team from Sunan Giri University Surabaya has held a seminar on Increasing MSME Turnover through Halal Certification, with the aim that local MSMEs can obtain halal certification. The process of implementing this seminar consists of three stages, namely (1) planning, which involves mapping the problem; (2) finding solutions to the problem; and (3) coordination with MSME partners. The implementation of the seminar on turnover development through halal certification was carried out using the method of delivering material and question and answer sessions. The results of this activity show that MSME partners who attended the seminar showed enthusiasm in asking questions related to halal products, the benefits of halal-labeled products, and the procedures for receiving halal certification.

Abstract

Environmental cleanliness is a major concern in the community of Sambungrejo Village, Sukodono District, Sidoarjo Regency. To overcome the problem of cleanliness in mosques located in residential areas, cleaning activities were carried out through community service involving participants of the Real Work Lecture (KKN) from Sunan Giri University Surabaya. The main purpose of this activity is to educate the people of Sambungrejo Sukodono Village about the importance of keeping the mosque clean, train students to have concern for the sanctity and comfort of places of worship, and carry out the principles of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. This activity is part of the Community Service program carried out by KKN Group 11 students of Sunan Giri University Surabaya, held in Sambungrejo Village, Sukodono District, Sidoarjo Regency on August 4, 2023. During the mosque cleaning activity, KKN students involved the community service method to clean and tidy up the facilities in the mosque. The cleaning process begins with cleaning the mosque yard, followed by cleaning the men's and women's bathrooms, as well as cleaning the Al-Qur'an and mukenah shelves. All bathroom and ablution room cleaning activities are carried out with the standard of purity regulated in Islamic teachings.

Abstract

The competency of the teacher can contribute or increase learning achievement can be an active example of inofative criminative and have high integration in school. The purpose of this research is to know the role of the PAI master competence in enhancing student learning achievement. This research uses the method of decriptif with a qualitative approach, data collection techniques using observations, interviews and documentation studies. Research subjects are the principals and teachers of PAI. The results of the study showed: (1). Pedagogic competence, (2). Personality Competencies (3). Social competence and (4). Professional competence.

Abstract

Education is a process for human beings. Through human education it can grow and develop perfectly, thus fulfilling its duties and responsibilities as a human being. Education is capable of transforming people who were initially ignorant to know, bad to better, so important is education in Islam that it is an individual obligation to demand knowledge. The importance of early childhood education, demands an approach that will be used in learning activities that focus on the child. Because children are the breadwinner of every parent and the next generation of people, however, one of the problems that arises is that not every parent or educator is able to understand the right way to educate the child. Thus, in this article we will talk about educating children in order to create the next generation of potential future successors of the nation.

Abstract

Panti asuhan memiliki peran strategis dalam menyediakan perlindungan, perawatan, dan pendidikan bagi anak-anak yatim piatu, terlantar, dan kurang mampu. Namun, rendahnya pemahaman hukum di kalangan pengelola panti asuhan sering kali menjadi kendala dalam memastikan bahwa hak-hak anak terpenuhi secara optimal sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku. Banyak panti asuhan yang beroperasi tanpa kelengkapan dokumen legal atau pemahaman yang cukup tentang kewajiban hukum mereka, sehingga meningkatkan risiko pelanggaran hak anak dan konflik hukum. Artikel ini membahas program pengabdian masyarakat yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan kesadaran hukum pengelola panti asuhan. Program ini melibatkan tiga kegiatan utama: sosialisasi tentang perlindungan anak berdasarkan Undang-Undang No.23 Tahun 2002, pelatihan pembuatan dokumen legal, dan pendampingan langsung untuk membantu pengelola memahami tanggung jawab hukum mereka. Program ini dilaksanakan disebuah panti asuhan di Surabaya, dengan pendekatan partisipatif yang berfokus pada kebutuhan spesifik lembaga. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman hukum pengelola, perbaikan tata kelola administrasi legal, dan dampak positif terhadap perlindungan anak asuh. Dengan adanya pelatihan dan pendampingan, pengelola mampu menjalankan tugasnya sesuai standar hukum, yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan kualitas perlindungan anak di panti asuhan. Artikel ini merekomendasikan replikasi program serupa di wilayah lain sebagai bagian dari upaya sistematis untuk memperkuat perlindungan hukum anak di Indonesia.
