Abstract

Bullying is a serious problem for Indonesian education because almost all schools in Indonesia have bullying cases that cause mental trauma and often lead to death. bullying in the name of seniority is still very rampant among students from any level of education. This research aims to find out: 1) The forms of bullying behavior that occur in SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru, 2) The impact experienced by victims of bullying on students of SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru. This research used descriptive quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique by distributing questionnaires to the population, then obtained a research sample of 68 people. The results showed that the most dominant form of bullying was verbal bullying (61.8%), physical bullying (35.3%), then the last was psychological bullying (19.1%). The most common impact received by the victims was stress and depression, namely 16 respondents. While physical injuries amounted to 5 respondents, loss of goods amounted to 10 respondents, and felt traumatized coming to school amounted to 7 respondents, with this impact being less dominant. The level of bullying that has the most influence on the high and low impact received is verbal bullying with 42 respondents and physical bullying with 24 respondents. Meanwhile, psychological bullying is less dominant with 13 respondents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi kahoot untuk mempertahankan kosakata siswa di kelas dua SMP N 3. Peneliti menemukan beberapa masalah terkait kosakata siswa. Pertama, siswa kekurangan kosa kata. Kedua, siswa sulit menghafal kosakata. Ketiga, rendahnya motivasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan pretest-posttest eksperimental dan control group design. Sampelnya adalah siswa kelas II SMP N 3 X Koto, yaitu VIII.4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII.2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan tes kosakata sebagai instrumen dalam pre-test dan post-test. Untuk menganalisis data, peneliti menggunakan uji t sampel independen dan uji t sampel berpasangan di SPSS 24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap retensi kosakata siswa pada siswa yang diajar menggunakan aplikasi kahoot dan para siswa mengajar secara konvensional. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,004 < 0,05 pada uji t sampel independen dan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,000

Abstract

This research was aimed to find out students' perception on the use of Quizizz as a media in learning grammar at the 3rd grade students of SMP N 5 Rembang in academic year 2022/2023. The problem of this research was the teacher has applied Quizizz in learning grammar, but some students still get score below the Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning (KKM) especially in solving grammar exercises. The researcher used descriptive quantitative research to describe the phenomenon of students' perceptions of using Quizizz in learning grammar. The population of this research was all of the students at the 3rd grade students of SMP N 5 Rembang. The sample of this research was 62 of the 3rd grade students who were selected using purposive sampling. This research used closed-questionnaire as the instrument in which respondent has to choose one of several answers presented. To analyses the data, researcher used Likert scale. Based on the results of the study, students' perceptions of using of Quizizz as learning media in grammar can be categorized as good perception with percentage 88,90%.
