Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the right number of lectures needed by the faculties of University X. The research is descriptive—analytical study. Data was collected using secondary data and observation. Beside that, the data was also collected through informants, namely vice deans of the Faculty of Law, Business and Management, Social studies, and Vice Rector for General and Financial affairs. The shortage of lecturers will cause the ineffectiveness in the learning process, besides If the number of lecturers is bigger than the workload, it will create the disguise of unemployment. It is necessary for the University to have lectrurers whose workload comply with regulation. This research analysis between minimum credit point (compulsory) with the lecturer needed. Result suggested: several study programs should recruit more lecturers

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of compensation, work flexibility, and work-life balance on employee loyalty within furniture companies in the Jabodetabek region. Utilizing a quantitative approach, this research involves 40 respondents who are employees of the company. The analysis methods employed include validity tests, reliability tests, R-Square analysis, and hypothesis testing, conducted using SmartPLS 4.0. The results indicate that compensation, work flexibility, and work-life balance have a significant and positive effect on employee loyalty. These findings highlight the importance of implementing human resource management strategies that focus on employee needs, such as providing fair compensation, offering work flexibility, and supporting work-life balance. This, in turn, leads to increased employee loyalty, ultimately enhancing organizational retention and performance. The study provides valuable insights for practitioners and human resource managers in designing effective policies to create a work environment that fosters employee loyalty and productivity

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the impact of leadership style and workload on job satisfaction, with work motivation serving as a mediating variable among employees of XYZ Institution. The research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) and analysed using Smart PLS version 4.0 software. The sample consists of 40 employees selected through purposive sampling. The findings reveal that leadership style positively and significantly influences job satisfaction, while workload also has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Furthermore, work motivation mediates the relationship between leadership style and job satisfaction, as well as between workload and job satisfaction. Additionally, work motivation directly and significantly affects job satisfaction. This study contributes both theoretically and practically by highlighting the importance of effective leadership, optimal workload management, and enhanced work motivation in promoting employee job satisfaction. The novelty of this study lies in examining the role of work motivation mediation in the relationship between leadership style, workload, and employee job satisfaction in Institution XYZ of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, which provides new insights into how work motivation can strengthen or reduce the influence of these factors in the context of the public sector in Indonesia. The findings serve as a foundation for developing managerial policies aimed at improving employee well-being and organizational performance within XYZ Institution

Abstract

Baros Village, Serang Regency has a strategic geographical location, but there are still various closely related environmental and community problems, namely waste. This is where the role of youth in plastic waste management is needed. Through several stages, the service team seeks to revitalize the youth role of the Baros Village Youth Organization through various and participatory initiatives in maintaining, maintaining, and improving environmental functions through plastic waste management. The Participatory Rural Appraisal model is used in this activity with considerations from problem identification until later at the completion stage, all involving partners. The counseling activities carried out are expected to provide a stimulus for Karang Taruna members to carry out plastic waste management activities that have economic benefits as well as a pilot project to increase the role of youth in village development. Although the counseling activity was carried out within limitations due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the enthusiasm of Karang Taruna members who took part in this activity to become a driving force for waste management efforts in the Baros Village environment was very high.

Abstract

MSMEs in Malaysia are facing new challenges in market competition, especially in the rapidly growing digital marketing. Fierce competition requires business actors to adopt effective digital marketing strategies to increase competitiveness and business growth. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to identify the right digital marketing techniques for the Malsa Chocolate business in the MARA Food Industry Complex, Malaysia. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature studies from various secondary sources such as books, articles, and journals. The results of PKM activities explained that digital marketing has been developed, its implementation is still limited. Many business actors in PANGAN MARA have not fully utilized their digital marketing strategies optimally, thus impacting their business productivity and competitiveness. Collaborative efforts are needed between business actors and stakeholders to improve understanding and implementation of digital marketing strategies. With structured assistance and optimal use of technology, MSMEs in PANGAN MARA can be more competitive in the digital market. This research provides recommendations for business actors to adopt more effective digital-based marketing strategies to increase business growth and sustainability

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang pengembangan alat berupa tempat tidur elektrik yang dirancang berbasis computer vision untuk membantu orang tua melakukan sleep training pada bayi. Alat ini dilengkapi dengan Raspberri Pi Camera V2 yang memantau dan merekam video kondisi tidur bayi dan kondisi di sekitar tempat tidur. Data yang dihasilkan dari video diproses menggunakan algoritma Viola-Jones sehingga orang tua dapat melakukan pengawasan terhadap kondisi tidur bayi berdasarkan data dan analisis sleep training. Selain itu, alat ini juga dilengkapi dengan berbagai fitur seperti motor penggerak sungkup dan ayunan yang dapat dikendalikan oleh orang tua melalui aplikasi yang terhubung pada gadget. Hasil dari pengujian membuktikan bahwa alat ini dapat diandalkan untuk memantau perkembangan tidur bayi serta orang tua dapat mengontrol kenyamanan tidur bayi melalui teknologi yang terintegrasi.

Abstract

Purpose: This research is a quantitative study that aims to determine and prove the effect of work environment and work discipline on employee performance. Research methodology: The sample used in this study were all employees of the production division of PT Keo San Indonesia where the researchers used a saturated sample of 60 employees. The analytical technique used is the path analysis method and data processing is carried out through SmartPLS 3.3.3. Result: The results of the test obtained (1) the work environment has a significant effect on employee performance, (2) work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance. Limitations: Researchers find it difficult to find references for research, because the research was carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, this can be overcome by looking for references online. Contribution: This research is expected to be able to make a comparison between theoretical knowledge and practice applied by PT Keo San Indonesia to the work environment and work discipline that affects the performance of its employees.

Abstract

Purpose: This research is a research using a quantitative approach which aims to find out and prove the effect of the work environment and workload on the job satisfaction of the employees of Wisma Sehati BSD Tangerang Selatan branch. Research methodology: The population in this research were 30 employees and the sample used in this research was the same number of 30 people using the saturated sample technique. In collecting data, the data was distributed using an online questionnaire via Google Form. The analytical tool used in this research is SmartPLS 3.3.3 with the analysis technique used is path analysis. Limitations: (1) Limitations in the use of this measurement variable may not fully indicate the causes that also affect employee job satisfaction. (2) In addition, this research is only distributed to employees in one company. (3) And this research took place during the covid-19 pandemic so that it experienced limitations in distributing questionnaires Contribution: (1) This research is expected Wisma Sehati BSD to maintain and improve employee satisfaction by continuously maintaining and improving the quality of a good and comfortable work environment and improving a balanced workload. (2) Expected to be able to explore and implement the insights and knowledge that has been obtained during lectures regarding Human Resource Management that has been obtained while studying at the Management Study Program S1. (3) And also add insight which can then be applied in the management of human resources in the future
