Abstract

The objectives of this research are to study the effects of supervisors’ effectiveness in using leadership power, supervisor’s mental model and team effectiveness on labours’ commitment to organization. The research was conducted in 2011 involving 250 labours of PT.KGM who were selected as respondents using simple random approach. The result of this research indicated the direct effects of: (1) supervisors’ effectiveness in using leadership power toward labour’s commitment to organization; (2) supervisors’ mental model toward labours’ commitment to organization and (3) team effectiveness toward labours’ commitment to organization. The result of this research also showed the indirect effects of: (1) the supervisor’s effectiveness in using leadership power toward labour’s commitment to organization through the team effectiveness; (2) supervisors’ mental model toward labour commitment to organization through the team effectiveness; This research conducted that labour’s commitment toorganization positively influenced by the supervisors’ effectiveness in using leadership power, supervisor’s mental model and team effectiveness.

Abstract

research which aims to determine the effect of organizational learning, employee involvement on commitment and organizational change is in a health institution, namely National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita located in Slipi, West Jakarta. The research uses quantitative research methods. Data collection was carried out through a survey of 100 respondents who were employees who worked at National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita. All respondents are samples that are spread across all work units using simple random sampling and the analysis technique is the PLS method. The results showed that 1) Organizational learning was not significant with a p value of 0.078 on organizational commitment. 2) Significant employee engagement variable with p value 0.00. 3) Organizational commitment itself has a significant effect with a p value of 0.024 on organizational change. 5) learning organization does not have a significant effect with a p value of 0.832 on organizational change. This study also concludes that nurse involvement has more influence on organizational change than learning organizations so that it is expected to increase employee engagement as a strategy for better change.

Abstract

Literacy strengthening of Islamic Boarding School-based Reading Gardens and technology has become a conceptual reality that requires empirically to make it happen. Community Service Activities (PKM) provide real work empirical ideas for the advancement of better quality Islamic education. Literacy through reading gardens and pesantren-based technology can create institutional unity between pesantren and advances in science and technology. The value system and education system of Islamic boarding schools supported by technological literacy will answer balanced scientific challenges in the future. At this time the ability to read and write is the basic foundation for successful learning in the future. Departing from the real problems and conditions of the Daarul Musthofa Islamic Boarding School regarding literacy learning to strengthen the implementation of science and technology, it is necessary to make real efforts in providing solutions, through Community Service activities (PKM) UPN Veterans Jakarta through the development of reading partners, training, mentoring, and coaching that structured and comprehensive in the management of reading gardens and improving managerial quality. This activity is carried out to provide correct knowledge and practice about literacy learning. PKM is held as an empowerment process that intersects with the ability to create an Islamic boarding school environment that has the ability in several ways. This in turn makes the practice of community empowerment enter the area of ??the literacy movement. The presence of community empowerment in the literacy movement was moved to undergo a general transformation into a movement based on more specific issues, one of which was at Daarul Musthofa Islamic Boarding School as a forum for PKM activities. Efforts to strengthen literacy culture through reading gardens at Daarul Musthofa Islamic Boarding School have been carried out. This is marked by facilities that encourage the growth of students' interest in reading such as adequate chairs and tables, book collections, bookshelves, services, computers, and so on. (2) The reading garden at Daarul Musthofa Islamic Boarding School is effective in encouraging students' interest in reading, especially during recess. Turning off students, activities were held at the reading park such as visits to Gramedia, construction of reading gardens, book reviews, scientific papers, mapping, and other activities, which aim to encourage students to be more creative, innovative and produce works and have broad knowledge through reading gardens.

Abstract

Online learning is a substitute for face-to-face learning, because during the COVID-19 pandemic learning cannot be done face-to-face. Many teachers have difficulty, how to deliver online learning via an android phone or laptop. There are still many teachers who are ignorant and passive, always asking to be understood of all their shortcomings, find it difficult to divide their time and sometimes do not want to learn and do not want to adapt to the times. If the quality of some teachers is like that, when entering the 21st century can they still realize superior Indonesian human resources? This community service activity method uses the lecture method, provides examples through discussion, and questions and answers. The lecture method is used to convey general knowledge about the challenges of teachers in the 21st century. Questions and answers are used to complete things that have not been accommodated by the two methods above. This counseling involves lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Business, in partnership with the District Education Office. Bogor which involves junior high school teachers. This program aims to (1) increase teacher knowledge and insight about the competencies that teachers must have in the industrial era 4.O and society 5.O, and (2) provide knowledge of what attitude choices teachers should have in facing the 21st century. Target The outputs of this service program are (1) Teachers as the frontline in preparing superior human resources, are always required to be consciously prepared to be willing to improve their competence, innovation, and creativity in learning. (2) Teachers must change their way of thinking, from thinking from routine work to lateral and constructive thinking for the sake of their students.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study to determine the influence of work-life balance on employee satisfaction of the millennial employee’s generation in Jakarta. The population of this study are the people who works at Startup company in Jakarta. This study used sample size of 100 respondents, with non-probability purposive sampling. Multivariate regression method is used to analyze the data. Data was collected by distributing online questionnaires. The tool used to analyze the data is SmartPLS 3.0. The results of this study indicate that  Work Interference with personal life, personal life interference with work, work life enhancement, personal life enhancement has an effect on employee satisfaction. Through this research, it is hoped that startup companies can take advantage of work-life balance policies to increase job satisfaction.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh work-life balance (keseimbangan kehidupan kerja) terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan milenial perusahaan startup di Jakarta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang bekerja pada perusahaan startup di Jakarta. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu sebanyak 100 responden, yang dipilih dengan metode non-probability purposive sampling. Regresi multivariate digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara online. Program yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah SmartPLS 3.0. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Work Interference with Personal Life; Personal Life Interference with Work, Work Life Enhancement, Personal Life Enhancement berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan agar perusahaan startup dapat memanfaatkan kebijakan work-life balance untuk peningkatan kepuasan kerja.

Abstract

This study is to analyze the mediating impact of organizational citizenship behavior, job embeddedness, and work-life balance on turnover intention. Samples were taken from as many as 300 respondents to employees in Islamic banking in DKI Jakarta, Banten, and West Java, Indonesia. The results of the study found that JE and WLB were strongly felt by having a positive effect on IT, as well as JE and WLB on organizational citizenship behavior. An assessment that results in a small OCB but still has an effect on IT. The new findings from this study can explain how OCB mediation is very important for employees who work in Islamic banking, IT has an impact on the continuity of the Islamic banking business during the COVID-19. Therefore, this research can make a big contribution, especially the WLB study can make employees have a good mood at home. Thus, for organizations during the COVID-19 pandemic, employees must feel comfortable and persist in any conditions. A good JE value will have an impact on the sincerity value of employees to work well, this is a positive thing that every organization can implement. Support for employees from the company through an interpersonal relationship approach discussing problems in their family and social life from the impact of COVID 19, is very important, which will strengthen every company organization to continue to run its business in the future.

Abstract

Kementerian Hukum dan HAM selaku Pengguna Barang memiliki tanggung jawab tinggi dalam mengelola aset Barang Milik Negara. Keterlibatan aparatur yang memiliki pemahaman dan kepatuhan pada regulasi juga harus didukung oleh komitmen afektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh beban kerja, peran ganda dan perceived organizational support terhadap affective commitment pada pegawai negeri sipil yang bertugas sebagai pelaksana pengelola Barang Milik Negara di satuan kerja Kementerian Hukum dan HAM. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner sebanyak 348 responden di satuan kerja instansi tersebut. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis SEM PLS dengan bantuan program smartpls. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa (1) Beban kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap affective commitment, semakin tinggi beban kerja pegawai maka semakin rendah affective commitment pegawai; (2) Peran ganda berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap affective commitment, semakin banyak terjadi peran ganda dalam lingkungan instansi maka semakin rendah affective commitment pegawai; (3) Perceived Organizational Support berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap affective commitment, semakin banyak dukungan instansi ke pegawai maka semakin tinggi affective commitment pegawai. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 43,1% variansi affective commitment pegawai dipengaruhi oleh beban kerja, peran ganda dan perceived organizational support

Abstract

In government organizations, demands for quality improvement and the use of information technology in services are unavoidable due to the expansion of globalization. Through improving employee performance during dynamic environmental changes, organizations can make this happen. This study aims to determine and analyze employee performance by looking at the effects of transformational leadership, employee engagement, and employee readiness to change. The respondents of this study were 73 employees at BPSDM Kumham who were selected by the purposive sampling method. The research method used is quantitative with data collection techniques through questionnaires—data analysis using Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) 3.0. The study results conclude that transformational leadership and employee engagement have a positive but not significant effect on employee performance. However, transformational leadership and employee engagement have a positive and significant effect on readiness to change. Readiness to change was found to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance and is a full mediator between the relationship between transformational leadership on employee performance and employee engagement on employee performance. Changes that occur both inside and outside the organization will not have an impact on employee performance if they have equipped themselves with the various competencies needed to carry out their work.

Abstract

The waste problem is still a complicated problem due to the lack of public understanding of the impacts caused by waste, the lack of government funds to ensure proper and qualified waste disposal. Another factor that causes the waste problem to become more complicated is the increasing standard of living of the people but not followed by an increase in knowledge about waste and the lack of the community's role in maintaining cleanliness and disposing of waste in its place. Community Service Activities (PKM) provide empirical ideas for real work to change the community's paradigm regarding waste that needs to be carried out in a sustainable manner. Educating residents about awareness and skills for waste management by applying the principles of reduce, reuse, recycle and replant (4R) is important in solving waste problems through waste management from its source. A waste bank based on community participation in the Belendung Village is social capital in community-based waste management. Departing from the real problems and conditions of the Belendung Village Garbage Bank regarding waste bank learning to strengthen the implementation of science and technology, real efforts need to be made in providing solutions, through UPN Veteran Jakarta Community Service (PKM) activities through the development of structured and comprehensive waste bank coaching in waste bank management and managerial quality improvement. PKM is held as an empowerment process that intersects with the ability to create. One of the components of this waste management system is the existence of a waste manager who has collected and separated waste (organic and inorganic). The presence of community empowerment in the waste bank movement was moved to experience a general transformation into a movement based on more specific issues, one of which was the Belendung Village Garbage Bank as a forum for PKM activities. The existence of a Waste Bank Management carried out by the KWT Fishing group of Belendung Village is still simple, only in the activity of weighing waste, so the PKM UPN Veterans Jakarta Team will provide training to make activities or activity programs that will be able to increase the entrepreneurial spirit for them. . The hope of this PKM activity is to foster social awareness for the community and be able to manage the Garbage Bank into an activity that can increase income for the group of women from KWT Fishing in the Belendung Village and foster an entrepreneurial spirit
