Abstract

The web is indispensable as a medium for school promotions to attract interest and information about schools. This website will be used to make it easier for both teachers, students, and guardians of students. The problem we often face is that the appearance of the website is unattractive and less informative. Starting from unattractive colors, news and information are not updated. It is necessary to redesign the school web to provide an attractive and informative appearance. The method in this research uses User Centered Design (UCD) starting from Plan, Design, Prototype and review. This study aims to produce a website for SMK Negeri 1 Perhentian Raja that is informative and liked by users

Abstract

The weak ability of teachers in the field of network expertise, especially technology-based, also has an impact on the Competency Test (UKK) of school students. The implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) and Mobile Technology training to improve teacher competence at SMK Sulthan Muazzam Syah (SMS) was attended by 18 teachers from various schools. In addition to SMS SMK teachers, there are also SMK Perbankan teachers, SMK Plus Terpadu, SMK Ekatama, SMKS Global, SMK MM Masmur, SMK Taruna Masmur and SMK Pharmacy Ekasari Pekanbaru in the field of Computer Network Engineering (TKJ). This activity lasts for 3 days starting from the delivery of material followed by practicum. For evaluation using pre-test and post-test techniques. The material is delivered starting from the introduction of the Internet of Things (IoT), IOT practicum, introduction to mobile technology, mobile technology practicum and evaluation of devotion in the form of handover of minutes of handover. The result is an increase in knowledge and skills to be applied in schools to students. In order to improve the quality of graduates and schools in the fields of IOT and mobile.

Abstract

Job promotion is an important factor in human resource management as it can enhance employee motivation, loyalty, and performance. This study aims to build a job promotion prediction model using the Gradient Boosting Machines (GBM) algorithm implemented in RapidMiner Studio. The dataset used was sourced from Kaggle, consisting of 54,808 training records and 23,491 testing records. The research process included data preprocessing, splitting into training and testing sets, model training, performance evaluation using metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and AUC, and applying the model to actual test data. The developed GBM model achieved an accuracy of 91.10% and an AUC value of 0.776. The prediction results on the test data indicated that approximately 84.4% of employees were predicted as not eligible for promotion, while 15.6% were predicted as eligible. These findings demonstrate that a machine learning approach can help companies make job promotion decisions more objectively, transparently, and data-driven.

Abstract

Di Indonesia jumlah penyandang penyakit kronis, kusus nya penyakit hipertensi secara nasional pada tahun 2018 juga masih tinggi, yaitu sebesar 34,1%, tetapi yang terdiagnosis oleh tenaga kesehatan dan atau riwayat minum obat hanya sebesar 8,8%. Bila tidak dideteksi secara dini dan mendapat pengobatan yang memadai, hipertensi dapat menimbulkan kerusakan pada organ vital, antara lain: jantung, ginjal. Semakin tinggi tekanan darah, semakin tinggi pula kerusakan yang ditimbulkan hingga dapat menyebabkan gagal ginjal, penyakit jantung koroner, dan stroke. Hipertensi yang tidak terkontrol juga dapat menyebabkan kebutaan dan gagal jantung berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui kematian akibat komplikasi hipertensi mencapai 9,4 juta setiap tahunnya di seluruh dunia. Oleh karena itu peneliti membuat sebuah Aplikasi Menu makanan sehat untuk penderita penyakit kronis berbasis android dengan menggunakan salah satu metode dalam Text Mining yaitu Vector Space Model (VSM). Metode ini digunakan untuk mengukur kemiripan antara suatu dokumen dengan suatu query. Pada aplikasi yang akan dibuat, Pengguna yang memiliki penyakit kronis, bisa memasukan keywoard pada mesin pencarian, nantinya aplikasi akan memberikan rekomendasi makanan yang sesuai dengan keywoard yang di masukan. Dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan sebuah aplikasi menu makanan sehat untuk penderita penyakit kronis berbasis android yang dapat membantu masyarakat dalam mengetahui solusi menu makanan sehat untuk penderita penyakit kronis.
