Abstract

This activity is a Community Service (PKM) by Lecturers, this activity aims to introduce and explain the use of microcontroller technology such as Embedded systems, Smart Systems and / internet of Think as well as job opportunities and business opportunities at SMK Bina Profesi Pekanbaru. The introduction of microcontroller technology is important to answer students' curiosity about how to compete and contribute in the future in the application of smart technology. The data analysis technique used is content analysis, which examines the main information discussed in the reference, relates it to each topic discussed, then concept mapping in the form of a comparison of each developed data. Activities are carried out by providing knowledge and providing examples with microcontroller programming simulations. The results of this activity are expected to contribute to providing knowledge and understanding of schools, teachers, and students in the field of microcontrollers so they can see the direction of technological development and business and work opportunities in the industrial 4.0 era in the future.

Abstract

The weak ability of teachers in the field of network expertise, especially technology-based, also has an impact on the Competency Test (UKK) of school students. The implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) and Mobile Technology training to improve teacher competence at SMK Sulthan Muazzam Syah (SMS) was attended by 18 teachers from various schools. In addition to SMS SMK teachers, there are also SMK Perbankan teachers, SMK Plus Terpadu, SMK Ekatama, SMKS Global, SMK MM Masmur, SMK Taruna Masmur and SMK Pharmacy Ekasari Pekanbaru in the field of Computer Network Engineering (TKJ). This activity lasts for 3 days starting from the delivery of material followed by practicum. For evaluation using pre-test and post-test techniques. The material is delivered starting from the introduction of the Internet of Things (IoT), IOT practicum, introduction to mobile technology, mobile technology practicum and evaluation of devotion in the form of handover of minutes of handover. The result is an increase in knowledge and skills to be applied in schools to students. In order to improve the quality of graduates and schools in the fields of IOT and mobile.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Al-Hujjah Riau, yang berlokasi di Kota Pekanbaru, tepatnya di jalan Cipta Karya KM 2, setiap tahunnya menghadapi tantangan dalam upaya menarik minat calon santri untuk mengikuti pendidikan agama yang lebih dalam. Promosi pesantren adalah praktik yang penting dalam memperkenalkan pesantren ini kepada masyarakat dan calon santri. Namun, pelaksanaan promosi di Pesantren Al-Hujjah Riau saat ini belum optimal. Promosi melalui berbagai sosial media telah terbukti menjadi cara yang sangat efektif bagi perusahaan, usaha kecil, dan lembaga pendidikan dalam menghadapi kemajuan teknologi dan komunikasi. Untuk menyampaikan informasi dengan lebih efektif dan efisien kepada masyarakat, maka dibutuhkan sebuah website dan sosial media lain yang telah terbukti sebagai salah satu media yang paling efisien. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini, tujuannya adalah untuk memodernisasi strategi promosi, yang sebelumnya lebih bersifat konvensional. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media promosi yang tepat agar penyebaran informasi mengenai Pesantren Al-Hujjah Riau lebih tepat sasaran. Perancangan sistem berupa website ini menggunakan Metode Pengembangan Rapid Application Development (RAD) yang dikenal dengan pengerjaan yang efisien dan singkat. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem informasi (website) yang responsif dan pemanfaatan platform media sosial seperti Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, dan YouTube. Dengan peningkatan sebesar 71% dalam jumlah pendaftaran santri baru pada periode tahun ajaran 2024/2025 dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya
