Abstract

Kos is one of the places of service provided or a place in a temporary residential area built by a landlord with different room sizes and rental costs. Based on the observations made by researchers in several boarding houses in Batam, where the process of finding costs is still done manually by surrounding several housing complexes that do not necessarily have costs available in the location, especially for lay people who are still the first time to come in batam with certain needs and also for people who may have interests one or more weeks in batam, like people coming from out of town with a variety of business and employment interests. In this study, rad (Rapid Application Development) method is used to make it easier for researchers to build or design e-KOST applications based on android. With the help of this application, it is expected to facilitate cost seekers and cost owners in making cost booking transactions.

Abstract

Buying a used car is often an economical choice for people, but the selection process is not easy because it involves various subjective and uncertain criteria, such as engine condition, year of production, mileage, and price. To overcome these problems, this study designs an intelligent system that can help decision making in choosing a used car using the Mamdani fuzzy logic method. This system is designed to assess the suitability of a car based on input from several predetermined main variables, by utilizing fuzzy rules that are arranged based on expert knowledge. The results of this system are recommendations for the level of suitability of used cars, which can be used as a reference in the purchasing process. System testing shows that the Mamdani fuzzy method is able to provide fairly accurate and consistent results in evaluating and recommending used car choices that suit user needs. Thus, this system can be an effective and efficient tool in supporting the decision-making process for purchasing used cars.

Abstract

The more advanced information technology today, the need for a computerized information system has covered all fields such as RT (Neighborhood Association) and RW (Community Housing). The survey shows that 30% of the process of documenting digital data citizens have used a computerized system without the support of a database system, where documentation uses Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Every new citizen has to report data such as National Identity Card and Family Card, then the operator will record the data in a book, then save the data into Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel. Every citizen who will make a certificate must fill out the form provided. This makes the population service process less effective. With the processing of population data using computerized techniques with a database system, digital data documentation of citizens will be easier to find data, the quality of service citizens who want to do correspondence become faster in terms of time, and the process of making population reports more effective

Abstract

Batam City is currently very dangerous in drug cases both in the field of dealers and users. The government has issued a statement about the Narcotics Emergency. Seen many who consume drugs do not look at age, starting school children and adults. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of drug use so that the way to overcome it. The benefits of this research are so that users can avoid drugs because they already know the negative effects of drug use. This fuzzy application method uses the Sugeno method by applying the max-min value and producing linear constants. The rare steps of the Sugeno method are the formation of the fuzzy set, the application of the implication function, the composition of the rules, and the affirmation (defuzzification). The input variables in this study were displeased, indifferent, memory impairment, red-eye and lazy moving and output level of addiction so as to get a final value decision support system. The results of this study can be used as a reference for people who use drugs and as a notification to the Batam community about the dangers of consuming drugs.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence is a part of science that really helps human work in everyday life. Artificial intelligence has a broad scope so that artificial intelligence can be implemented in various branches of science, for example the ancient Roman letter recognition game. This game completes the game in the form of sequential ancient roman typesetting according to the Ascent hill Climbing Algorithm concept. The problem with this game is that errors often occur in composing the order of Roman letters, making it difficult to complete this puzzle game. The purpose of this study is to make it easier for puzzle game players to solve the Roman letter number arrangement game according to the rules of the Ascent hill Climbing algorithm. The Ascent hill Climbing algorithm performs the process of finding the highest value to find the final solution. The working system of this algorithm uses the heuristic function. The process of completing this research consists of 9 cities with the working principle of changing the position of the boxes into a sequence of ancient Roman letters correctly according to the final state of the puzzle. There are 4 rules that must be carried out to get the final solution, namely by changing the puzzle position to the right position, to the left position, the upper position and the lower position until the puzzle position is correct according to the sequence and final state. The puzzle consists of a sequence of ancient Roman letters consisting of I,II,III,IV,V,VI,VII,VIII,IX. The completion iteration process occurs 5 times to obtain the final value

Abstract

Higher education is a dream for parents for their children. However, sometimes due to economic conditions parents are unable to pay for their children's education up to college level. Most children who live in remote areas have the desire to complete their studies, coupled with their achievement skills. Currently, there are many scholarships provided by each region to assist education for underprivileged children with predetermined criteria, including: they must have criteria for academic achievement, parent's job, parent's dependents, income and certificate of incapacity. The aim of this research is to make it easier for related parties to select residents who are entitled to receive assistance in continuing their studies. The method used is the SAW method. The way this method works is to take the Max value to produce a decision. Based on the final results of the ranking, GD received the 1st recommendation with a value of 0.8927, MB the 2nd recommendation with a value of 0.8427, CM the 3rd recommendation with a value of 0.7928, JP the 4th recommendation with a value of 0.7738, SL the recommendation 5th with a value of 0.7738 and lastly WP with a value of 0.426. Thus it can be concluded that the SAW method is able to solve the problem of providing scholarships to underprivileged students.
