Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the integration of the STEM (Science, Technology,Engineering, Mathematics) approach and digital learning in strengthening the integration of theSTEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) approach and digital learning in the sciencesubject in elementary schools and its impact on improving students' critical thinking skills. This studyuses a qualitative approach by studying and analyzing books and relevant reference sources. Data wereobtained from various appropriate scientific sources and analyzed descriptively. The study shows thatcombining STEM education with digital learning can increase student participation, help theirunderstanding of concepts, and train 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. This integration is a creative solution in the science learning process in today's increasingly digital era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the readiness of sixth-grade elementary school students to use digital literacy media in learning. This research is based on how digital literacy is very important to support 21st-century learning. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with data collection techniques through questionnaires, observation, and interviews. A total of thirty sixth-grade elementary school students were the subjects of the study. The results of the study indicate that the level of student readiness in various aspects, including access to technology, the ability to use digital devices, and their views on digital-based learning, ranges from moderate to high. However, limitations in supporting facilities and obstacles in important aspects of digital information utilization continue to arise. As a result, efforts are needed to improve students' digital literacy through the integration of more interactive learning media and ongoing training.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in biology subjects, especially in ecosystem material, by using audio-visual learning media. The research was carried out in class X.2 of SMA Negeri I Meureubo. The background to this research is that low student learning outcomes are caused by less interesting learning methods such as the lecture method. It is hoped that audio-visual learning media can facilitate students’ understanding through visualization of abstract ecosystem concepts. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method with two cycles, involving planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results showed that the application of audio visual learning media increased student learning outcomes from 41% in cycle I to 100% in cycle II, with the average student score increasing from 79 to 96. Audio visual learning media was proven to be effective in increasing student understanding and making the learning process is more interactive and interesting.
