Abstract

This research was conducted to improve the learning outcomes of Pancasila education on the material of Indonesian cultural diversity in grade V students of SDN Oro Oro Ombo by using monotara media (monopoli nusantara). The research method used is classroom action research using 2 cycles and pretest. Pretest aims to determine the learning outcomes of students before using monotara media (monopoli nusantara). Cycle 1 aims to determine the learning outcomes of students after using monotara media (monopoli nusantara). Cycle 2 aims to improve learning in cycle I so that learning outcomes can increase maximally in accordance with predetermined indicators. The pretest results show that the learning outcomes of most students are still below the predetermined indicators. The results of cycle I showed an increase in student learning outcomes after the use of monotara media (monopoli nusantara), although not yet as a whole. The results of cycle 2 showed a significant increase in learning outcomes compared to before using monotara media (monopoli nusantara), where all of students learning outcomes were above the predetermined indicators. Expected this research can be used as a strategy to spur students learning motivation through game-based learning activities that can increase students understanding of Indonesian cultural diversity.

Abstract

Learning that is adapted to the character of students accompanied by the use of technology-based media can influence students' active learning in the 21st century. This has not been implemented at SD N Oro Oro Ombo because teachers do not create groups based on student characteristics and the use of media that is not yet technology-based. This research aims to determine the increase in students' learning activeness through the application of differentiated learning assisted by Canva media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with the research subjects being students in class VB SD N Oro Oro Ombo for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 19 students. The data collection method in this research is observation and documentation with research instruments, namely observation sheets for students' learning activity. This research shows the results that through the application of differentiated learning with the help of Canva media, it can increase the learning activity of class VB students at SD N Oro Oro Ombo. Pre-cycle results show an average result of 45% in the less active category. Then there was an increase in average but less than 5% in cycle 1 to 49% with the constant category, namely less active. Furthermore, in cycle 2 there was also an increase of more than 5%, so the average was 61% with a different category, namely quite active. This shows that there is an increase in students' learning activeness through differentiated learning with the help of Canva media.
