Background: Digital developments have a very important impact on educational aspects. This impact also causes transformational changes in aspects of education, as in aspects of approaches to understanding religious concepts for students. The learning method called the flipped classroom is relatively new. With the development of digitalization, such as internet access as well as software and other supports, the flipped classroom method is increasingly developing. In conventional education, teachers only give lessons, then to increase knowledge about these lessons, students complete work at school and are given homework. In flipped classroom learning, students play a role in designing the teaching and learning process, including film shows, studying PPTs and looking for learning resources provided by teachers through online media such as e-learning. Studies show that using a Flipped Classroom can foster student enthusiasm. Objective: To provide a brief review of the latest explanation of the flipped classroom strategy in increasing understanding of religious concepts in the digital era. Method: In preparing this journal, the author used a literature study approach, using various reference sources related to the Flipped classroom in increasing students' understanding of religious concepts. Results: Technological developments have a very important impact on educational aspects and also have an impact on other aspects. This impact triggers a transformation in aspects of education, such as instilling religious concepts in students, so that teachers need to create active forms of learning that are in harmony with the personalities of students in this era, so that students can easily understand various concepts.
