Abstract

This study examines the management of students’ daily activities in improving discipline at Jareqjeq Pambusuang Islamic Boarding School. The research was motivated by the need for a more systematic management of daily activities to support the development of students’ discipline. The study aimed to analyze the implementation of daily activity management and its role in fostering students’ discipline. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed. Data were obtained through observations, interviews, and documentation involving boarding school administrators, teachers, dormitory supervisors, and students. The findings indicate that the management of daily activities is implemented through planning, organizing, implementation, supervision, and evaluation. Daily programs are systematically arranged to include worship, learning, cleanliness, and character-building activities. The structured implementation of these activities encourages students to manage their time effectively, comply with established rules, and develop responsibility in carrying out daily obligations. Continuous supervision, regular evaluation, and the application of educational sanctions and rewards further support the development of disciplinary behavior. The study implies that well-managed daily activities can serve as an effective strategy for strengthening students’ discipline and character development in Islamic boarding schools.
